22/12/2025: Good, but not great. The location would be convenient, unfortunately, the shuttle doesn't go to Saslong (400 meters) but to Dantercepis (4 km). The dinner menu has no options. The pool is outdoors and accessible by stairs. If it's cold, it's not very appealing.

01/11/2025: The restaurant was almost empty on the afternoon of November 1st, yet we were asked to sit next to the kitchen and weren't given a seat with a window view. The service was also quite unfriendly. We left.

19/11/2025: The location struck me as very charming, nestled among the mountains with a relaxing view of the valley. As soon as I sat down, I noticed the very friendly and helpful service: the waiters were attentive and patient. The menu offers typical dishes from the Aosta Valley: I ordered a well-prepared polenta concia and their exquisite homemade gelato (photo), both well-executed and with distinct flavors. I also appreciated the platters of local cheeses and cured meats. The atmosphere is rustic and welcoming, with an outdoor lawn where you can relax after your meal. The restaurant can get crowded outside, but it still offers a sincere and informal welcome. I recommend booking at least the day before. In short: if you're looking for a quiet lunch with local dishes and attentive service in a natural setting, Chalet MontDolent is a very good choice.

13/09/2025: I stayed here with my family for a quick stop before heading home after a weekend in Cappella. The atmosphere is beautiful, spacious, and well-kept, with a terrace overlooking Lake Lavarone.

15/01/2026: I didn't stay because the owner, on the day of my arrival, when I called to let them know I'd be arriving early in the afternoon, told me the hotel was closed due to a breakdown and had no water. He hadn't notified me, so given the holiday season, I couldn't find another place to stay, so I had to return home. A terrible review of the owner's irresponsibility.

30/09/2025: Very friendly staff. They were only serving takeaway pizza that day, but they opened the dining room especially for me. The pizza and house wine were very good and reasonably priced.

11/03/2026: Found via Google Maps, this restaurant is just steps from the center of Pergine, Trento. The menu is suitable for a business lunch, and the service is fairly quick. The food is delicious and excellent value. Free street parking is available.

05/03/2026: A lovely place to immerse yourself in a rustic, typical Puster Valley atmosphere. Beyond appearances, I can't recommend this place very much. The prices are extremely high for what's on offer, or rather, for the quality of the dishes. A cold cuts platter for two was €26 (perhaps the only thing worth ordering, thanks to the local produce), tagliatelle with game was nothing special (with a supermarket-bought sauce, it could have been even better), and the pork shank was stringy and not one of the best I've ever tasted (cold side dishes were already served). Dinner with an appetizer shared between four and a main course each plus beer (no dessert or coffee) was €140. Draw your own conclusions. I can tell you, from my experience, that I wouldn't go back. You can find better.
