05/04/2025: Really good! We had been years ago, I think under another management, and we hadn't had a very good time, but today we returned to have lunch at Sushi Joy and we were positively surprised! Friendliness, speed of service and really good sushi! I'm happy that there is finally good sushi in this area. I forgot to take pictures of the dishes but they are good looking and plentiful. We'll be back!

26/10/2025: This is a Western Spaghetti-style establishment. So, one might expect prices to be affordable. As they say in Rome: "Campa Cavallo" (a horse), umbrella €8, sunbed €6 (not to mention that it was after 3:30 PM). At one point, we decided to go to the bar for two beers, two small pepperonis to be precise...which cost us €10. Honestly, I don't care if these prices are the same as in other establishments. But it's important to understand that for the same money, you can get significantly superior service; like the bar, the snack bar, the restaurant, the beach: in much more elegant places like the Marine Village.

25/12/2025: The building is dated but clean, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the food is simple. The price is more than fair for a stay in this hotel with a beautiful view. We'll gladly return.

14/12/2025: We just returned from a vacation at the Hotel Due Parc in Rumo with Village Hotel. A super positive experience, the staff was always kind and helpful. Thanks to Giovanna and the entire staff. This is the fifth time we've stayed at Village Hotel properties and we've always had a great time. Excellent value for money. See you next vacation.

27/01/2026: I wasn't familiar with this bakery, which is slightly out of the way from the town center but easily accessible, despite having visited San Candido on several occasions. The shop is spacious and welcoming, but—given our short visit—it was valued more for the purchase I made: a 1 kg tray of traditional, assorted, and truly delicious biscuits. I always cherish the wonderful memory of similar biscuits, homemade in Santa Cristina Val Gardena by a dear friend's grandmother, absolutely unsurpassed. Well, some of the ones I bought at the Trenker bakery reminded me a bit of my grandmother's biscuits... The price was more than reasonable, considering the "standard" of the area...

10/11/2025: Trenker at Senfter Platzl! Trenker is popular everywhere and has made a name for itself far beyond the region. I find the location lovely – a small, elegant shop with a wide selection, tucked away yet easy to find, away from the hustle and bustle and only a few steps from the center. Highly recommended.

24/07/2025: Super good sandwiches, generously made by them. Excellent service. If you're just coming to use the bathroom, at least leave a tip 😛

29/01/2026: The food always tastes good. Sushi is always freshly prepared. The rest of the dishes are likely to be industrially produced ready-made products, as is the case with most Asian restaurants. The ambiance is nothing special. The lighting is usually too dim. If not everyone arrives at the same time, you'll be served very quickly. Otherwise, it understandably takes a bit longer.

19/07/2025: Bellissimo e tradizionale rifugio circondato da un panorama mozzafiato. Ci si arriva dopo una piacevole passeggiata dal Passo San Pellegrino. Personale cortese, efficiente e organizzato che sa gestire in modo eccellente il notevole afflusso di persone. Ottima la qualità delle portate. All’interno c’è un piccolo “museo” di oggettistica del luogo e l’ambiente è molto curato. All’esterno c’è un’area giochi per bambini

18/07/2025: Location incantevole alla quale si giunge al termine di una piacevolissima (poco impegnativa) passeggiata tra le vette del Passo S.Pellegrino. La bellezza dei luoghi e la richiamata facilità del percorso “gustano” tuttavia l’atmosfera che risulta assai lontana dall’ auspicabile solitudine contemplativa montana. Il rifugio è difatti affollatissimo costringendo i gestori a lavorare, con affanno, suddividendo gli avventori in due turni. Sebbene ciò non incida sulla qualità dei piatti, risulta assolutamente compromessa la genuinità del servizio e completamente snaturata la funzione di “servizio” del rifugio, nato per offrire calore (anche umano) al pellegrino!

16/12/2025: A tourist spot. Smoked swordfish: they served me the kind I buy in a tray at the supermarket. Pasta cacio e pepe: a cheese broth with pasta floating in it. Crème brûlé: it was very cold and therefore not caramelized on the spot, since if it had been, it would have been lukewarm. A tourist might be happy, but an Italian accustomed to truly good food won't leave this place satisfied.

03/12/2025: A very beautiful and elegant place. Very attentive service, and the waiter who served us was very helpful. The typical Sardinian dishes were very tasty and well-prepared—a truly delightful surprise in the Trentino mountains! Prices were average. If we were to pass through that area again, we would definitely return.

19/11/2025: The staff is always very friendly and fast, which is not a given these days. The pizzas are always better. The food isn't overwhelming, but there's enough to suit every taste, and what's available is always excellent. I find the prices fair, not low but not excessive either. Let's just say that if they increased even a little, I'd turn up my nose, but I'd gladly return.

20/09/2025: We spontaneously stayed here overnight on our trip and were absolutely thrilled. It's beautifully situated, surrounded by fields of apple trees, and we had a lovely view of the mountains. The room and bathroom were quite large and very nice. We were greeted with fresh apple juice, which was very good. In the evening, we enjoyed a fantastic four-course meal for just €35 per person, and it was absolutely worth it. The food was freshly prepared and reflected the regional cuisine. It was truly a treat. Breakfast was also excellent, with regional dishes and a very plentiful selection. They also offered the wonderful apple juice again. The hosts were very nice and friendly. Unfortunately, they only spoke Italian and French, but they tried very hard. They still managed a few words of English and German, and we were able to communicate well. We would come back anytime and stay a few days longer.

05/09/2025: We had a wonderful stay at this charming hotel nestled among apple orchards on the mountain. The building is a lovingly restored farmhouse that has retained its original character while still feeling very cozy. Our apartment was spacious, with separate bedrooms and a living and dining area – perfect for a relaxing stay. We were greeted with a bottle of wine upon arrival, which immediately made us feel welcome. The culinary highlight was dinner, prepared by the owner himself. For just €35 per person, we enjoyed a delicious four-course meal: a generous platter of ham, salami, and cheese with fresh bread and salad as a starter, followed by homemade spinach gnocchi. The main course was a succulent stuffed roast pork with carrots and potatoes, and we finished with a delicious ice cream. A particularly nice touch: water was included, and the bottle of excellent wine cost only €15. The value for money was truly unbeatable! Breakfast the next morning was also a delight. Everything was served fresh at the table, from savory to sweet dishes – and as a special treat, there was freshly pressed apple juice made from their own apples. One minor drawback was the language barrier, as neither German nor English was spoken, only Italian and French. However, with a little gesture and good humor, we were still able to communicate without any problems. All in all, it was a wonderful stay: welcoming, warm, authentic, and with excellent value for money. We would definitely come back!

24/02/2026: I had breakfast at this place's café, so that's the only reason I can judge it. I found the atmosphere to be quiet but a bit cold due to the basic decor. The cakes and pastries are good. Friendly service. Good prices.
