Edelweiß Hütte In Corvara in badia

After climbing Aiguille Rouge and Col de Thures, I descended into Valle Stretta with my son today. He was very hungry, so we stopped at this refuge before going back up to Col de l'Echelle (hitchhiking). They made us a huge portion of polenta with sausage, which we both ate. Delicious. They were very kind even though it was a little late (and I put parmesan on the polenta—heresy, but I like it)! Thank you so much! We'll be back.

Excellent break. We stopped at this refuge after a nice hike for a break. We had an apple strudel and sweet apricot-filled dumplings with vanilla cream, both delicious. The place is very beautiful and full of animals nearby.

A refuge in a beautiful location above Colfosco. Very friendly staff. Traditional dishes; I recommend the rock climber's platter.

The Edelweiss Refuge immediately strikes you with its beautiful location, nestled in a spectacular panorama and enhanced by thoughtful, pleasant furnishings that create a very welcoming atmosphere. The staff deserves special mention, especially the waitress, who was exceptionally kind and hospitable. Unfortunately, the culinary offerings are disappointing: the quality-price ratio is far from commensurate with the price. Although the facility is located at 1,850 meters above sea level, the altitude cannot justify such high prices, given that the refuge is easily accessible via the service road used by ski lifts. Such convenient logistics do not justify such a markup for a dish that should be significantly superior in quality. Splendid for its view and ambience, but disappointing for its food and price.

A mountain hut on the Colfosco slopes. Excellent food, with average prices for its location. A large terrace with views and plenty of seating for lunch. Fast and friendly service.
