06/09/2025: I have no words to describe how good we have been these days at the refuge. If I had known, I probably would have made the whole trip there, since the location is great too. The food a 10, both breakfast and dinner (all very homemade, top quality products and very well prepared and tasty dishes). The double rooms with private bathroom (something impossible to find in other refuges, especially in Catalonia), very cozy and with comfortable beds, perfect views of Lake Fedaia and the mountain, at the foot of the Marmolada. The attention, needless to say, has also been a 10.

31/07/2025: Monday is a day off, and unfortunately, you can't order the best Kaiserschmarrn for miles around or the insider tip, Carbonara. We also enjoy one of the pasta dishes, like the Makaroni Chef, as well as the salad. Small portions are available. The interior is rustic. The service and the chef are like good old friends. The food is reasonably priced. Drinks are average. There's plenty of parking and a good selection of play areas for children. It's only a few minutes' drive from Maranza or you can take the road there, but there's also a beautiful trail through the forest up to the Kiener Alm. From the Gitschberg middle station, the alpine pasture is a 30-minute walk away, or from the Nesselbahn station or the lovely playground at the top, it's a steep 30-40-minute descent along the ski slope – but there are also easier options here. The guest rooms are expected to be available again soon; you can inquire on site or by phone.

Special mention goes to the goulash soup and dumplings, both excellent and well-prepared. The pizza is average, nothing exceptional, but still good. Excellent location outside the city center, just 20 minutes from Bolzano: ideal for those who want to avoid the hustle and bustle while still being convenient. A much-appreciated feature: the menu includes some simple children's dishes, an important detail for those traveling with family. Overall, a recommended place if you're looking for a casual place to eat well and feel at home.

30/11/2025: I had the opportunity to have lunch here during a day spent at the Levico Christmas markets. We had a great time; the pizza was good and the main courses were generous. The prices were average. If I ever have the chance to be in the area again, I'll be back.

Delicious pizzas, delicious one-pot meals, and reasonable prices with generous portions. The hostess was very friendly. I'd gladly return if I ever return to Levico.

12/10/2025: The location is great, close to the beach (I don't know if they have sunbeds on the beach in season, but I highly doubt it's close to the center). Food 0 for three days, every morning one type of salami, one type of cheese, 3 flavors of marmalade, no butter, rolls, coffee, juice, tea). Unlike the hotel where the other group was accommodated, this is a living despair. The rooms are clean, not that spacious, the terraces are terribly small.

12/12/2025: It's a classic tourist trap with average food at premium prices. In all of South Tyrol you normally don't pay "coperto", but some restaurants like this one have introduced it—an easy way to overcharge you. The service isn't welcoming or friendly, always in a rush, and as soon as you sit down they're already thinking about the next customer. If you order a medium beer, you'll automatically get a large one. It’s loud, and I couldn't even talk with my girlfriend sitting in front of me at the table. They even closed the main front door just to add another table and squeeze in more customers. The pizza we ordered was really nothing more than average and very salted. And the cherry on top: they rounded up the bill as they wished, using the excuse that they had no coins, which was extremely unpleasant and an unfair practice. It's a money making machine and not a restaurant to enjoy your evening.

11/12/2025: A thoroughly enjoyable experience. Relaxed atmosphere. Attentive waiter. Variety of meats, pastas, and pizzas. I recommend the Wagyu tartare and carpaccio, and their fluffy truffle gnocchi. I would definitely return.
