Hotel Residence Thalguter In Lagundo

We spent a week here in April and had a wonderful holiday. The hotel was clean and well-maintained, and the breakfast buffet left nothing to be desired. Many thanks also to Sandra and Joachim, who were always there to help and advise us. If possible, we would love to come back.

Fantastic hotel! We spent five days here in April and were extremely happy with our choice of hotel for our first holiday in South Tyrol! Clean rooms with lovely balconies offering breathtaking views, incredibly friendly staff, a varied breakfast, a small but charming pool area with a sauna, a beautiful garden, convenient access to public transport, a great starting point for hikes (especially the beautiful forest trail), and good restaurants within walking distance. We felt incredibly comfortable and will definitely be back!

This was our third stay at the Thalguter, and we'll definitely be back. The value for money is truly excellent. The rooms are lovely with fantastic views. The included breakfast is plentiful and delicious. The staff are all exceptionally friendly and helpful. And as an added bonus, there's even a pool and a textile sauna, perfect for relaxing. Merano is easily accessible by bus from the hotel every hour (20 minutes). The hotel's intuitive app is also worth mentioning; you can order food and drinks for delivery, or get restaurant recommendations, hiking suggestions, and other information about South Tyrol. The hotel also offers e-bike and e-Vespa rentals, which we haven't used yet. Charging stations are available for electric cars as well. We're already looking forward to our next visit!

Great location as a starting point for hiking; the Algund Waalweg (irrigation channel path) is right above – a beautiful, natural trail. Breakfast is outstanding.

Suitable for families with small children. The swimming pool was full of screaming toddlers on both of my visits. No "relaxation area" after the sauna.

We had a wonderful short break at the Thalguter! We were able to start our arrival day with breakfast, and our room was already prepared. From the warm welcome and friendly service to the helpful tips for excursions, everything was always done with attention and a smile. The breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired, the spa area is inviting and relaxing, and the room is spacious with a balcony and a beautiful view. The location is ideal for hikes directly from the hotel or from one of the nearby cable cars, or even for a stroll to Merano. Supermarkets and restaurants are in the immediate vicinity. All in all, it was a fantastic stay, and we will definitely be back!

A family-friendly atmosphere with all the benefits of impeccable organization: squaring the circle. A very refined atmosphere without that intimidating exclusivity. Everything is spotless, well-organized, and the staff is attentive and friendly; it's hard to find fault. To find fault: the bathroom lacks a bidet (as is often the case in these parts), despite many years of honorable service, but perfectly clean and efficient. The pool and sauna are remarkable. The breakfast... simply fantastic. If we ever return to this area, this will definitely be the first place we'll consider.

Nice place, friendly service, great pool

I stayed at this hotel for two nights for work. The rooms were large, comfortable, and very clean. Parking was free, and the pool and sauna were included in the price. The breakfast was amazing, and it's hard to beat it.
