23/03/2026: It's my first trip here, to these faraway regions. I fell in love with it. This was the first place I had dinner when I arrived. I find it magical, enchanting, like in the movies. Welcoming, warm. The food was excellent, and the portions were generous. We each had just one dish (a first course and a second course) and a side dish. They were complete meals. Typical flavors. I really like the aftertaste the sauce leaves. The service was super friendly and helpful. At the beginning of the dinner, they offered a sort of entree, and at the end, they offered us a local digestif. Everything was truly perfect. Thank you.

01/06/2026: We were there in April 2026. The campsite, which is a manageable size, was already quite busy. Reserving the really large pitches was no longer possible as early as March. The pitches were very shady and of moderate size. The staff at reception were very friendly. The sanitary facilities were well-maintained. The bus connections to Bolzano and Merano are excellent and free for campers. The restaurant is exceptionally good, but a bit pricey. Pizza to go is available.

14/04/2026: We stayed for three nights and the experience was truly excellent in every way. The location is extremely well-maintained: located just outside the city center, it guarantees tranquility without sacrificing convenience, being well-connected to services and neighboring towns. Our lake-view room was simply stunning: spacious, impeccably clean, and featuring a large balcony perfect for relaxing. We also greatly appreciated the ability to adjust the temperature independently. Furthermore, upon request, lower pillows were provided, a detail that demonstrates great attention to guest comfort. The food was another strong point. Breakfast and dinner were excellent: the latter consisted of an appetizer, a vegetable buffet, a choice of first and second courses, and dessert. Having reported a lactose intolerance, we were pleasantly surprised by the helpfulness and care in offering suitable alternatives for each course. The spa area is simply marvelous: an indoor pool, an outdoor whirlpool with a lake view, two saunas, a Turkish bath, and a comfortable relaxation area with drinks available. A perfect environment for complete regeneration. A special shout-out to the owners: the family management is evident in every detail, from the kindness to the genuine attention to guests. It's rare to find such a high level of hospitality: many four-star properties in large cities don't even come close to this quality. Thank you so much for your stay, we'll definitely be back!

12/04/2026: Five stars are truly insufficient to describe this charming and elegant place. The food is divine, with carefully crafted, top-quality dishes. The staff is friendly, helpful, and always attentive to the guests' needs. Special praise goes to the owner, a uniquely charming person who makes the experience even more enjoyable. A restaurant you absolutely must try... and, above all, one you'll want to return to!

05/04/2026: We went there Easter Sunday and it was very full as can be expected. Waiters scrambling to get everybody at their tables… special Easter menu on top, so we were excited. We got the food almost immediately, which means it was already fully prepared. Understandable on a day like this, but it meant that it Luke warm, the fish pretty dry, the vegetables mostly tasteless and the „oven“ potatoes stale. So at the end we were quite disappointed.

19/02/2026: Eva is a very friendly and nice woman. Whenever I'm sad, I go to the bar to see her smile; afterward, I'm happy again. The bar is fantastic, the wine is fantastic, and everything I've tried so far has been wonderful. Thank you so much for the fantastic experience!

05/04/2026: Spectacularly rude service. The waiter was rude, argumentative and gave us an impression that he wanted to start a fight by insulting my wife on multiple occasions. He was talking to himself when clearing an empty table next to us. He was making unsolicited comments about some of our half eaten plates. No idea how this place has such a high rating on Google. Perhaps we were just very unlucky with our waiter and the rest of the staff are doing a professional job.

07/04/2026: Truly an excellent dinner, excellent dishes, carefully prepared and thoughtfully crafted, generous portions, and super friendly staff. If you like meat, it's a great place, as it's connected to the family butcher shop. The burger was delicious, one of the best I've ever had. The desserts were also very good. Super fair price.

02/05/2026: The price-performance ratio was a disaster. We even finished the dry bread with croissants, for which they charged us three euros. Otherwise, our stomachs would have been completely empty. The portion was too small for a toddler.

02/05/2026: The service was very friendly. The pizza was excellent. We enjoyed the atmosphere in the courtyard. The only downside was the extra charge for the cover fee. Unfortunately, we only noticed this afterward. This isn't standard practice everywhere in Merano.

05/05/2026: Very quaint, all in wood, with a beautiful view. The food was plentiful and delicious. The meringue pie with hot chocolate on top was fantastic! And the staff was so friendly and helpful!

12/04/2026: Exceptional stay. One of the best spas we have ever been to. Nestled in the side of a scenic valley with rolling mist; beautiful from the panoramic breakfast restaurant. Fine dining was memorable, regionally specific, and delivered on the wine pairing. Rooms designed with style and comfort in mind and the lounge area, the heart of the hotel, was cosy, modern, and grand. Service from staff surpassed expectation, attentive throughout; thoughtful enough to leave the car full charged and stocked with mineral water for our onward journey. Je suis going back.
