23/08/2026: The atmosphere was dreamy, thanks in part to the very kind and friendly owners. We ate wonderfully; every dish was truly delicious and beautiful to look at. It was a very pleasant surprise. I highly recommend it.
22/08/2026: WHAT A PLACE! My goodness. We came here for our final meal of our mini moon after getting married about an hour away. This place was highly rated in the area so thought we’d give it a go. Firstly the owner, Simone, was absolutely lovely. So friendly and chatty. Then of course …the food. My god. Short and simple menu with well thought out dishes. The best meal we had in Italy by far! Fresh, simple ingredients prepared with love and care. What more could you ask for?! They also have a fantastic wine list.
If you’re around this area (or even if you’re not), make sure Ristorante Malborghetto is top of your list!

05/08/2026: An hour and 45 minutes between ordering and receiving the food is far too long. The food was delicious and the staff efficient, but the time spent in the kitchen (and we weren't a large group) discourages us from returning. The bill reflects this wait time.
04/08/2026: Why does this tavern only have 4.4 stars so far?
Service: excellent and far exceeding expectations. Fresh tomatoes and herbs were brought out from the garden especially for our 3-year-old son, simply because he asked for balsamic vinegar with his bread and oil.
The service was competent, friendly, and attentive to every need. The chef at the table...and the food...simply a delight.

06/04/2026: We went for dinner in April and it was absolutely magical! The sunset from the restaurant is beautiful, and the dinner was truly amazing, with delicious food and an open fireplace. The setting is intimate and the service is delightful. Highly recommended.
26/10/2025: This was the best meal we have had in Tuscany, food and atmosphere. The service was incredible. We felt so special and felt right at home. Don’t miss this place!

We go there, see the label writing “we are open” , we hear voices from inside but no one opens the door.

26/08/2026: We spent a few hours with Alessandro exploring the Riecine winery and wines. It was a delightful and engaging experience. Alessandro is the perfect host (literally, too! 🙂), passionate about his work, knowledgeable, friendly, and approachable. The wines truly amazed us. We tasted several labels and none of them disappointed. Excellent, balanced wines, unconventional and complex without being "difficult." You can sense the hard work behind them. Congratulations!

08/08/2026: We felt very welcome here. The food was great. We enjoyed it so much that we came back the next day.
At lunchtime, the restaurant was full of Italians.
Unfortunately, none of the delicious pizzas were served at lunchtime. However, this meant we got to enjoy the delicious pasta.
The service was really very friendly!
08/08/2026: I ate here twice during my holiday because it was so delicious! We had fantastic crudo with melon, the best pizza of the holiday, and fantastic pasta. The ice cream was also top-notch; I would definitely come back.

14/08/2026: For the third consecutive year, we've been dining here, with an overnight stay in the adjacent Badia. The Cinta Senese cured meats were excellent, among the best we've tasted in the area. The first courses were delicious and plentiful. For those seeking a Chianti Classico with a difference, try the Riserva "Cultus." Surrounded by nature, the terrace offers a beautiful view of the valley below.

Answer:
I can prepare them for 9:15 PM because I have to make the 9:00 PM ones. I understand it can be a lot of work and it can't be easy on your own, but waiting about an hour for two pizzas is truly insane... (Given that it's a Wednesday, not even the weekend... Nothing to say, it speaks for itself.)

03/06/2026: Castello di Spaltenna makes a striking first impression: its location in the Tuscan hills is stunning, and the pool is fantastic. Architecturally, the property is truly exceptional and full of character.
The staff is consistently friendly and attentive.
However, considering the high price point, there are a few aspects that fall short. The gym has equipment that isn't working – this simply shouldn't happen at a resort of this caliber. Even more disappointing: the beds consist of two single beds pushed together. At these prices, this is simply unacceptable.
The restaurant also leaves much to be desired. The prices are high, but the quality is, at best, average. Pre-packaged items like tortellini don't fit the ambiance or the price point – one expects significantly more.

01/08/2026: Absolutely incredible food and experience, understandable with the Michelin star. The service was top notch, the wine pairings couldn’t have been better and the food was as good as I’ve ever had. Really a one of a kind place set in 1,000 year old monastery that is now a 5 star hotel. If you want an unforgettable meal, don’t miss this spot.
25/06/2026: What an experience; an evening full of surprises. Let me just say that we had a wonderful meal here. We sat outside and it was a lovely evening. The courses were brilliantly structured in terms of both flavour and experience. Let me start with the experience itself. A personal letter from the head chef, the country estate, the service; it all contributed to an unforgettable evening. The food was superb, with a flavour profile that at times featured quite distinct, bold flavours – you could really taste that it had been smoked. Fresh, high-quality, pure ingredients. I thought the dessert was a fitting grand finale!
