18/11/2024: Un bellissimo ristorantino all'interno di una casetta su due piani: la bellissima sala con caminetto al piano inferiore, la cucina a quello superiore. Ottimo servizio, disponibilità, gentilezza e splendido umorismo da buon oste toscano. Cibi buona ma potrebbero osare di più, manca un pò di spinta toscana. Rapporto qualità prezzo buono.

26/08/2024: nel chianti si ha sempre timore di trovare le classiche trappole per turisti, con scarsa qualità e prezzi alti (tanto chi li rivede più) ... non è il caso di questo ristorante. Pranzo agostano in famiglia, unici italiani del locale ... trattamento semplicemente fantastico ... i pici all'aglione, piatto semplice ma realizzato in modo divino, a seguire fegatelli realizzati dal cuoco, tra i migliori mai assaggiati, i prezzi sono più che onesti anche per la lista dei vini, la location è molto piacevole sopratutto il giardino interno, il servizio gentile ... che dire ... bravi e continuate cosi ... se posso tornerò presto.

15/08/2024: Really friendly and smart guys, the place is very rustic and appreciable, I felt at home. I must say that the food was all incredible, I ate a "simple" fixed menu, that is, appetizer of truffle crostini, truffle lasagne and piglet also with truffle, and I would be really in difficulty if I had to choose which of the courses was better. In short, a great place, I felt at home and had a good laugh with the owners of the place, I highly recommend it.

04/11/2024: Property is great..breakfast was okay..dinner was great..but only drawback is there’s no soundproofing in room..room was good..but no soundproofing as we could hear what other people were doing in room..we were casually sitting in room when it got loud of other room people doing stuff and it was distracting .i had to keep YouTube music all night..

03/10/2024: Inizjalmente molto accogliente la caposala, eravamo in 9 e ci siamo sistemati bei tavoli fuori aspettando il ns, prendendo dei taglieri, tra l'altro ottimi e del prosecco, nn altrettantp buono purtroppo. I grissini "home made" sono fatti con burro spray, invece che con olio extra vergine, tipico della zona. Poi la bistecca bruciata e dura, immangiabile, i primi da 6, ed il resto insomma, abbiamo sorvolato i dolci perche' delusi! Meno male che almeno i taglieri di affettati iniziali erano ottimi! Poi la caposala si e' dimostrata molto scortese rispetto alle esigenze alimentari di un ragazzo della tavolata che era fortemente allergico a latte e derivati, perche' nn avevano di fatto una scelta, e nn facendo proposte fattibili in cucina (forse era tt pre preparato!), dovevamo chiedere gli ingredienti, tra l' altro mai specificati, dk ciascun piatto, addirittura x le patate arrosto usavano burro spray, ed al mio commento, che nn pareva essere in Toscana dove si usa il tipico olio,mi ha risposto in modo poco gradevole. Fortunatamente altri suoi cokkeghi hanno continuato il servizio, tt cordiali e professionali. Non lo consiglierei se nn solo per i taglieri.

19/07/2024: Corrado is a man of few words...let's say the right ones but the two pizzas are something good, good, good, you eat it all, don't leave anything...and come with a garden table and umbrella, if the pizza is so good you would even eat it sitting down on the bin.. don't ask for the buffalo cheese, I recommend the Margherita Pizza to taste the dough. Congratulations Corrado, see you in September.

30/09/2024: Sono tornato dopo 3 anni, e ho trovato questo meraviglioso luogo ancora una volta a livelli strepitosi. Una delle eccellenze della Toscana, senza dubbio. Tagliatelle ai funghi speciali, filetto con funghi, tartufo e pecorino idem. Chef super, ma anche il maitre in sala è un professionista straordinario, bravi tutti!

14/10/2024: Beautiful hotel overlooking the Tuscan fields! Romantic atmosphere. The hotel has a small number of rooms, which makes it private. The elderly man at the reception represents an incredible level of service that is rarely seen these days! The bathroom smells nice of cosmetics. The downside is the spa. I don't know why, but the saunas were not working during our visit, and they are located in a separate building from the pool.

13/08/2024: We are on our way back home, sorry for not being able to extend our stay but also completely satisfied by the experience that the Spaltenna Castle can offer even in just a few days! The place is extraordinary: a careful recovery of the original structures makes use of a skilful integration of the new structures, perfectly incorporated into the nature of the area. We tried all the services offered and were amazed by the extreme attention to aesthetic and human detail, by the functionality with which every moment of the day is managed and by the discretion that can be maintained despite the crawl space of operators and activities! There is one nice thing that we cannot fail to underline: among all the castles and locations that we have been lucky enough to know, Spaltenna Castle is the king of amenities!!!!!!!! You could stay with an empty suitcase! The place sells itself, the management is evidently valid and consolidated, but the real strength is made up of the people: at the reception Vincenzo's eyes shine when he talks about his territory; Giorgio the mêtre of Pievano is the light and elegance of a restaurant that deserves a separate review; Elisabetta the sommelier is a beautiful woman who preserves the ancient secrets of her grandmothers in her professionalism; Lorenzo knows how to spell out the chef's talent with the right pauses and the emphasis of a touching passion for such a young boy; Augustin's delicate cocktails will make you want to hug this very sweet boy, Lara's determination in action is only the incipit for a beautiful chat with the backdrop of shooting stars and cicadas; and if you season everything with Gemma's cocktails??? Almost as extraordinary as her bright smile! Amed's kindness is precious, it shines through the eyes and perfectly packaged his professionalism; and then there is our favourite, little Chiara who, with her purity, is the mascot of a wonderful staff made up of many other people who we were not lucky enough to get to know better but who made our stay special. The infinity pool alone is worth the trip; breakfast on the terrace is super and always take at least one muffin, the internal room of the restaurant "La terrazza" is stupendous, the quality of the food is excellent and absolutely valid both the wine and the vin santo of own production, the Pievano on the other hand, he literally stole my heart!

25/05/2024: On the occasion of our anniversary we decided to celebrate, at the suggestion of a friend, at the Perano estate. An almost fairy-tale outdoor place, a garden surrounded by roses and vineyards. Inside, attention has been paid to the smallest details. We tasted a good wine, ate dishes from a real starred restaurant and were welcomed by the skill and delicacy of a girl prepared in the dining room. The next day we also decided to pay a visit to the cellar where Nicolas welcomed us. A very nice and welcoming boy. What can I say... we had a great time! I recommend everyone to stop in this enchanting place. See you soon!!!

23/08/2024: Lo Sfizio Di Bianchi is a good restaurant with standard Italian dishes done well. They are not a mid range or fine dining restaurant so you will not find anything that exciting here. Their pizza choice is good but their cooking capacity is very limited for a restaurant of this size. Pricing is fair and reasonable and their ice cream is very good. Their takeaway service is poor as is their telephone manner so beware of this option.

10/08/2024: Tijdens ons bezoek aan de regio hebben we dit restaurant tweemaal bezocht voor het diner. We vinden het een prima keuze vanwege de fijne gerechten, attente bediening en passende verhouding tussen prijs en kwaliteit. In het hoogseizoen doe je er waarschijnlijk goed aan te reserveren. Het terras zat eigenlijk alle dagen vol.

13/08/2024: Playful with expert understanding and use of flavours. This was definitely one of the better one star Michelin food experiences. Stunning location. In the end just a couple of moments short of perfect all around.

12/08/2024: Il Pievano ci ha letteralmente rubato il cuore. Il Mister Hyde con noi ha davvero preso il sopravvento ed ha scalato e soppiantato tutti i 16 ristoranti stellati che abbiamo collezionato fin ora con un connubio vincente di tecnica, contrasti, sorprese, gioco e idee di packaging così forte, da renderne difficile il racconto. È stato il massimo, sarà dura eguagliare.
