14/01/2025: Very good, my favorite ice cream shop in Italy.

14/12/2024: An ice cream parlor located on the side of the road in a pink house, with a large terrace which was crowded with many locals. People with lactose intolerance are offered a wide choice of sorbets, each more delicious than the last. The prices are really fair and the portions are very generous. As for people with celiac disease, the waitress took care to bring out a cone protected in plastic and went to get separate tubs of ice cream in another room after I was able to choose from a list of almost 10 flavors. I really recommend it for people with dietary restrictions who can enjoy quality products and very good value for money.

06/02/2025: We went to this place for a Sunday lunch. The place is very welcoming and the staff very kind. The dishes, typically Tuscan, were all excellent with an honorable mention for the pappardelle with wild boar which, personally, went well beyond my expectations. The wine list is also excellent, offering a wide choice of Chianti reds together with a careful selection of Tuscan wines. The only flaw for us was the service: unfortunately, given the crowds, our table was a bit forgotten. Even though we were among the first customers to arrive, we were among the last to leave and be served. However, the waitresses were quick to apologize and make amends, a gesture that I appreciated very much. A must if you pass by Castellina.

26/02/2025: Delicious food, the Fiorentina was spectacular. The meat was tender, it melted in your mouth. Excellent home-produced wine.

10/01/2025: Very nice location, friendly service. The food is good, the wine and dessert are also excellent. However, the prices are definitely too high compared to the portions (really very small) that are served, which is a shame.

15/02/2025: Beautiful lunch for two, we were divinely welcomed by the staff and we lived an unforgettable experience, between flavors and quality food, you could feel the attention to detail and the skill of the chef. Simple but sophisticated location, the flowers in the center of the table gave a touch of elegance, which I must say are excellent company and beauty to see while tasting the dishes, since it is still winter and not being able to eat outdoors, they were of great value for me.

12/09/2024: We got this place recommended by our local Italian restaurant Vecchio Convento in Odder Denmark. The place is stunningly beautiful situated on a hilltop and the food is worth the drive. It is absolutely the best meal we had on our holiday in Italy, better than the Michelin restaurant we also visited. Can definitely be recommended.

03/01/2025: We went for lunch on January 1st, we were 2 adults and 2 children, what can I say, everything was excellent! Attentive and impeccable service, remarkable wine cellar, dishes prepared with attention and high quality ingredients. Amazing risotto!

06/01/2025: Riserva di Fizzano is definitely a place to visit! The best holiday house in the area with an amazing view, great apartments and service! The area is quiet and really the holiday you are dreaming for! It is close to Poggibonsi town where you can find everything you need! will be back again soon! Thank you for your hospitality! 18/11/2024: We celebrated my daughter's birthday yesterday and we can't help but express how thrilled we were! We had never been before, but we had heard great things about the place, and I have to say that expectations were greatly exceeded. The restaurant is enchanting, with several outdoor areas where we were able to have an aperitif in a truly evocative atmosphere. One point that particularly struck us was the children's playground area, extremely equipped and safe, which allowed the little ones to have fun while the adults enjoyed the day. The restaurant is cared for down to every detail, both inside and outside. The view of the pond is breathtaking, with windows overlooking a panoramic terrace. The interior is equally elegant, with modern and refined furnishings, and a fireplace that creates a pleasant atmosphere. The quality of the food was excellent and the service impeccable. We were given the opportunity to customize every detail of the event, from the layout of the tables to the set-up, up to the possibility of playing music and creating a space for dancing. We had the room to ourselves, which made the event even more special and intimate. In summary, it was a perfect day. We were really enthusiastic, both us and the guests. We recommend the Vallechiara restaurant without hesitation to those looking for an enchanting, well-kept place with excellent service and a spectacular view. We will certainly organize many other events in this splendid place. A magical experience that we will remember forever!

12/10/2024: Posto fantastico...nel cuore del Chianti..a un km da Castellina.. gestione super Famigliare mammà, figlio e papà.. Tutto perfetto non vi è altro da aggiungere. Colazione abbondante, piscina, possibilità cena in loco. Strategico x raggiungere Greve in Chianti, Panzano .. S. Gimignano.Da rivisitare
