The cuisine is meticulously prepared, offering a wide variety of local dishes. There's an excellent wine selection. Both the owner and staff were extremely courteous and attentive to our every request. I recommend making a reservation, especially for groups.

14/07/2026: We chose this place for a night out with friends and were absolutely delighted. Close to the center of Castellina, the place is mostly outdoor, under the veranda, which is wonderful in the summer, even when it rains like we did. We didn't see many seats inside, perhaps upstairs? Excellent service from the waiter, who helps you park while you order. We had a worry-free evening. Excellent food; we waited a bit, but we didn't even notice while we were chatting. We ordered pizza and some pasta dishes, and they didn't disappoint. Highly recommended, and we'll definitely be back!

Amazing fresh local ingredients, great service, cool outdoor vibe & the best restrooms in all of Italy! If you know, you know. Tried the pigeon & lamb, both phenomenal! 12/04/2026: A truly unforgettable stay at Riserva di Fizzano 🌿 This place is the definition of peaceful. Surrounded by the beauty of Tuscany and rooted in over 1,000 years of history, it feels like stepping into another world. The sunsets here are absolutely breathtaking—something you’ll want to pause and fully take in. The food at the restaurant is excellent, making it easy to stay in and enjoy every moment, and the wine… simply some of the best you’ll find in the region 🍷 The room was very unique and clean, the sheets and towels were as well. One small tip: bring a wall adapter, or you can easily ask for one at reception. If you’re looking for a quiet, beautiful escape with history, views, and amazing food, this is it.

09/08/2026: A very well-organized pizzeria, with fast and friendly staff. Excellent pizza. During our short wait, they brought us bread, schiacciata, and excellent extra virgin olive oil. Castellina in Chianti is a great place to spend the evening, even on the hottest days.

06/07/2026: What a wonderful place! We celebrated the third day of our wedding here with around 60 guests, and it couldn't have been a more perfect ending to our wedding weekend. From the very beginning, the communication was easy, friendly and uncomplicated. The restaurant even opened exclusively for our group, which made us feel incredibly welcome. The food was fantastic. The pasta was absolutely delicious, the salad was served family-style in the middle of the tables, creating such a warm and authentic Italian atmosphere, and the tiramisu was simply outstanding. The setting is something truly special. Surrounded by vineyards with breathtaking views that look like a postcard, it captures everything you imagine when dreaming of Tuscany. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, and what we loved most was the relaxed atmosphere. Nothing felt rushed or overly formal—it truly felt like sitting around a table with a big Italian family, enjoying great food, good wine and wonderful company. If you're looking for authentic Italian hospitality and an unforgettable experience, this is the place. We will definitely be back. 🤍🇮🇹

29/06/2026: We were absolutely thrilled with this splendid osteria. The location is simply fantastic, with a stunning view that, especially at sunset, creates a magical and unforgettable atmosphere. The real added value, however, is the staff. Everyone has always been attentive, knowledgeable, and super professional. Special praise goes to Cosimo, a perfect "host": always present, available, thoughtful, and with a rare level of professionalism. Chef Sauro's dishes are nothing short of unsurpassed, a true joy for the palate. The best moment, however, was at the end of the evening: the chef himself came out of the kitchen to greet the guests and sincerely ask for their opinions on his creations. A gesture of great humility and passion that we greatly appreciated. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

29/06/2026: A good, traditional dinner with their own local wine. Friendly and attentive service, but I gave it a 3-star rating because it was slightly below my expectations given the location: the young man who served us was kind and attentive, but he dirtied my glass by pouring me wine, giving me a sip that wasn't appropriate and seemed unsure of what he was telling us. The pici all'aglione and the wild boar tagliatelle were excellent... the Fiorentina steak, however, was a bit tough. The price was a bit steep, but in line with other restaurants of this type. I highly recommend it for a Tuscan experience with good food and wine, and a wonderful surrounding landscape.
