27/02/2025: Ate here 5 times in 2 weeks. Very helpful staff even though they spoke very little English. Food was excellent. And the prices were always very reasonable- especially compared to what we see in the US! Highly recommend.

16/03/2025: I am correcting my previous review from 3 to 1 star... Maybe it's because I'm getting older, but every year it gets worse and worse. FOOD: you can also have a fast food sandwich one evening, not excellent quality, but in any case there are various options and combinations that can be considered tasty. There are vegetarian and gluten free solutions. LOCATION: nice yes, but it's starting to become a bit obsolete, it's no longer new, among other things the environment isn't very clean and there's a confusion that requires earplugs to survive. SERVICE: This is the sore point of the place... Terrible. I don't think I've ever witnessed worse service. Hurried, unfriendly waitresses, the imperative is to make customers move as much as possible. They bring us the menu... and after a minute: "So do you want to order?!" "No, I should look at the menu first, maybe" They ask you for dessert, and they also want you to order coffee to make it sooner. But the icing on the cake... I asked for a bitter... They first bring me the receipt saying that they are closing and that we have to hurry, with the bitter marked, but without having brought it to me yet. well... Positive note: the desserts are actually very good.

31/01/2025: It was really friendly and delicious. It was a perfect restaurant with everything from pretty interior to generous portions to fantastic taste. It was a pasta that represents Italy itself, which is not easy to taste in Korea. I definitely recommend it 💓

02/02/2025: Last night I had the pleasure of having dinner at the Sale e Pepe restaurant in Pontedera and I must say that it was an incredible experience! We decided to try their famous pizza, and I can say without hesitation that it was one of the best I've ever tasted. The base was perfectly crunchy, with fresh, flavorful ingredients that went together perfectly. To pair it, I chose a honey-flavored beer, which added a sweet and aromatic touch to the meal, creating a truly delicious balance. The owner, Saverio, was exceptional in recommending both pizza and beer, demonstrating great knowledge of the menu and a passion for service. To end the evening on a high note, we couldn't give up the desserts, and they lived up to expectations! Each course was a real delight, with flavors that melted in your mouth. A culinary experience that I highly recommend to everyone! I will definitely return to relive this gastronomic magic. Thank you, Salt and Pepper!

20/01/2025: I ate a pizza, "the truffle lady", the dough was very thin and crunchy, the ingredients were good, but overall it wasn't pleasant. For me, pizza must have a consistent dough. I won't go back.

03/03/2025: I was enticed by the reviews and videos on Instagram. I arrived wanting to eat a sandwich published 15 days before on their page, I couldn't find it on the menu, I asked the waiters, had I ever seen it, it had never been on the menu. I take the most famous sandwich with carbonara cream, good but has nothing to do with the photos online. He was so short I don't know he even saw what was inside just the bread. I finished the sandwich and chips and I was still hungry (usually I can never finish the sandwich+chips). I take the lotus cheesecake which was delicious and whoever was with me the tiramisu with pan di stelle which was very sweet, we couldn't finish it. I'm sorry but we're not there. EDIT: I did the review in February but I came in January, simply google maps advised me to do the review and I did it. Good evening

04/03/2025: First time for this pizzeria, booking on the return journey from Florence for 7.30pm (opening time). The place was obviously empty at that time so very fast but still courteous service, while waiting for the pizzas ordered, a very welcome taste of hot focaccia. Wide choice of pizzas (classic and special) complemented by focaccias, salads and platters. The pizzas ordered were an excellent choice as was the dessert: apple pie with cream; a real spectacle for the palate. Average prices, a place to include in our list for when we are in the Pontedera area

Good food, great vegan bagel 👏 The only flaw was the service, we were 5 tables: we had to ask for the menus twice, 3 times for an additional plate, all a bit slow. If they improve the service with an extra eye and attention, they can truly aim for excellence

22/02/2025: Terrible staff management: Some of the staff are tired and slow. Seeing the staff chatting about nothing while you're still waiting for your order to be taken for 30 minutes and the room is empty... embarrassing. This happened several times obviously.
