17/03/2025: I'll start with the positive aspects: the pizza is really good, perfectly cooked. The place, however, is furnished in a slightly too tacky way, with red curtains that give the impression of trying to cover something inside. What left me perplexed was the cost of the desserts: 7 or 8 euros depending on what you choose. The desserts are not indicated on the menu, but are listed verbally — it would be correct to also communicate the price at that moment. Also, I noticed that they are not homemade but purchased from a third party, as I clearly saw a box near the checkout.

17/03/2025: Review needed to understand... the quality of the pizza has worsened slightly for some time now, I don't think it's due to the flours which always seem to me to be of undoubted quality, perhaps it depends on the rotation of who is making the pizza at that moment... in any case the environment and food are always at the top

27/02/2025: La Serafina is a small, welcoming and informal restaurant, perfect for those looking for an easy-going environment and a good meal. The place is nice and the service stands out for its kindness and helpfulness, making the experience pleasant from the point of view of hospitality. The culinary proposal is convincing: the dishes are well prepared and you can perceive the care taken in the choice of ingredients. The selection of wines is also well thought out, adequately accompanying the dishes. However, the main limitation of the restaurant is excessive noise: being a small space, the acoustics do not help and it is difficult to converse with your diners. This aspect negatively affected the experience of the evening, making it less enjoyable than the food and service would have deserved.

21/02/2025: Had a great meal...we went for lunch. To start we had a starter of cured meats and cheeses, both the raw ham and the mortadella and pecorino were very good. Then some had lasagna with meat sauce, cannelloni with ricotta and sauce, some had pasta with pesto, some had pasta with meat sauce, aubergines parmigiana, cuttlefish with roasted potatoes, cauliflower flan, .. all very good. Advised!

27/01/2025: Pizza by the slice is very expensive and small in portion. Furthermore, it was of terrible quality, it remained limp even though they reheated it, the margherita was full of mozzarella and the tomato was non-existent. Cecina is saved. Total spent €6.70 for: a small square the size of the children's pizza sold at the Margherita coop, one of salami and frankfurters and 100g of cecina. Then restaurateurs complain if they close their shops because no one goes there.....the answer is above.

08/11/2024: One of the best pizzas if not the best in Pontedera and surrounding areas. The quality of the dough is excellent, and the combinations offered are truly very good. The assortment of desserts is worthy of the best pastry shops, and the quality of these is as excellent as the pizzas. We have been going to this place for years now, and often get take-away pizza. Absolutely recommended!!!

The desserts are plentiful, large and well-stocked, perhaps too much so. The place is always crowded, a sign of a loyal clientele, but this can make the experience less relaxing, especially during peak hours. In addition to pastries, at lunch it offers a varied menu that changes daily. However, the prices are quite high compared to the type of restaurant, which should be more affordable for those who work and are looking for a quick and convenient meal. Unfortunately, over time prices have increased while the quality of the dishes does not always live up to expectations. La Voglia Matta remains a point of reference for those who love pastry making but the catering part could be more balanced in prices compared to the quality and type of service offered.

30/12/2023: Fiorella's restaurant is large and not small. I frequented and enjoyed the dishes that Fiorella offered many times years ago, even when the place was called Il Cacciatore. Food has always been the prince of the palate and with truly competitive prices. The room is very welcoming, not large but set up very well. The very qualified staff and then there was Fiorella, the queen of life. I wish you a great and undisputed cook, best wishes for a happy and satisfying life. Maximum

04/02/2025: For me the environment is beautiful, and very creative but for the waiter there isn't much to say, he's rude and snorts as if we were the problem. Then let's not talk about the food, I'll give some examples: the octopus was burnt with salt and tasted like smoke, the punches were very salty... In short, I don't recommend it as a restaurant, also because in the evening after dinner we had a stomach ache and the day afterwards we even vomited. For the price we weren't really satisfied, there were four of us and we took 2 gourmet dishes each and the price was high, I don't know if you know what I mean, that is, we paid a lot. 27/01/2025: Abbiamo pranzato prima della gara che abbiamo giocato a Pontedera.... Dire fantastico è poco. Cibo ottimo , qualità altissima Locale accogliente e molto bello Angelo ed il suo staff sono state persone fantastiche. Lo consiglio vivamente TOP!!!!

19/01/2025: They have further expanded the place by purchasing space for more tables ... the restaurant is very popular so on the weekend it is a little chaotic but the service remains precise, fast and friendly. The gluten-free sandwiches are tops...even the pizzas for those who like thin ones....very digestible. Carpaccio with rocket and cherry tomatoes much appreciated. Possibility of choosing red and white wines...beers and soft drinks Many delicious desserts and delicacies such as fried pasta and scagliozzi Really competitive prices I highly recommend

29/12/2024: The service was definitely positive, very attentive. On the negative side, the low Florentine pizza, which tends to hide the chopped ingredients and is not to my taste, as I prefer the Neapolitan version with the high crust and abundant ingredients.

02/03/2025: Nice environment, we had dinner accompanied by live music (perhaps the volume was a little too loud), the dishes served were good enough but quite anonymous for the price paid per person (€55) for 2 courses, dessert (cheesecake perhaps not very fresh, I didn't like it) and wine. Service a little confusing but very nice place.

26/02/2025: Very nice place, with two internal and two external locations, one indoors and the other under an umbrella. Young, kind and approachable staff, excellent cocktails (Bloody Mary and Hugo Spritz) were able to satisfy me even though I am a vegetarian and have various allergies, not with the usual bagged chips. €20 for two drinks and two generous aperitif platters. I will definitely come back.
