12/10/2025: I happened upon it for a coffee and was amazed by the location. It's very, very nice, and it takes you back in time for those like me who followed Happy Days. I absolutely must go back for dinner.

26/10/2025: I ordered 400 grams of farinata more than an hour in advance, rightfully adjusting to the time slot based on the availability they gave me. When I picked it up, they weighed the farinata without letting me see how much it was, but they left a little in the pan, probably for a regular customer. Nothing wrong with that, except that they charged me just under 400 grams, and when I pointed this out, they told me it was a little less, with the giggle of a child caught stealing jam. Without objecting, I left, but at home, out of curiosity, I weighed it, and it was just over 250 grams. Now, if they want to keep their regular customers, that's fine with me, but I'm not going to let them make fun of me. Besides, placing a vase in front of the scale to hide the weight should be not only immoral but also illegal, if I'm not mistaken. And above all, the hysterical giggle of the clerk when I pointed this out was annoying.

21/12/2025: After how people spoke about this place I was expecting much more to be honest. It's a typical local bar/restaurant offering a decent sized menu at very affordable prices. We didn't find all the plates good and the best ones didn't pass a 6. I really wish I liked this place more because at these prices it's almost hard not to go dine out almost every night.

10/11/2025: A typical restaurant in Marina di Carrara. It was recommended to me by local friends, and I must say it was a great experience. Food cooked in front of you, featuring typical local dishes. Everything was good. Prices were reasonable. Recommended.

21/10/2025: A truly delightful café/pastry shop! We were passing through and stopped here for a quick bite, since we hadn't had lunch. We had two barley cappuccinos, a rice pastry, and a hazelnut cream puff. We thought the drinks were well-prepared, and the two desserts were absolutely fantastic: fresh, flavorful, and delicate all at once. It's worth noting that this place is quite spacious inside, but there's also the option of sitting outside. We preferred to sit inside. We also note that the people at the counter were really kind. We'll definitely be back for a snack in the future. Caffè Pasticceria Serena is highly recommended by NONZIIAZONZO!

11/10/2025: Maybe as a dessert place it is good, but to eat is not recommended. I came for their menu of the day and I was not at all satisfied. The fritto misto is half carrots maybe or vegetable peels fried and the carbonara does not have taste at all. I think they forgot to put salt on both dishes that I ordered. For 15 and 13 euro, I could find somewhere much better. But well, it is a learning

20/08/2025: I've been going there for a long time over the years, and it's always a pleasure to see Mr. Luciano welcoming you with warmth and friendliness. The food is always excellent, the service is quick but not rushed, and the atmosphere is relaxing, almost like being at home. The location on the seafront is also excellent. It's a place I'm fond of and would recommend to anyone in the area—it's worth it!

21/12/2025: We've been to this restaurant three times, but this time we were disappointed. We ordered a bottle of Valpolicella Classico 2017 for €55, which was served to us already in a decanter, with the bottle empty and open, without showing us the label. A decanter should only be brought upon request, not to be sneaky with an already empty bottle. We politely asked for the bottle to be opened in front of us, and the staff corrected the procedure, but this deception has convinced us not to return. A restaurant should always respect proper wine service procedures.

15/08/2025: Bati Bati is now an institution in Marina di Carrara; I think even the lifeguard in the back row knows it. The atmosphere is simple, no frills, no flex—and that's fine. They serve both pizza and a restaurant, and obviously, in the middle of August, this combo means the kitchen sometimes takes a breather... as it did for us. No dramas, it was the Ferragosto holiday after all. The penne with scampi? A caress for the soul, 100% comfort food vibes. I tried the pizzas quickly, and the one with zucchini flowers, in my opinion, had more to tell. The fried food took a bit too long to arrive, but when it arrived... it was good, average, the kind that won't change your life but will keep you company. In short: a solid 3.5, a place that tells a bit of the history of Marina di Carrara, still frozen in certain postcards of the past... but with that charm that makes you say "come on, I'll go back".

01/11/2025: The family butcher shop. I've been coming here for years, ever since there was just a horse meat shop 🥲😋😋😋... There's also a wide selection of pre-cooked or quick-cook dishes 👍👍👍

03/10/2025: I ask for lean ground veal and get a mismatched mix of veal and beef. Some are quite plump. It takes passion to do these jobs.

14/12/2025: Excellent pizza and focaccia, friendly and helpful staff. The only downside is parking, which is very limited and difficult to find in that area.

25/08/2025: We had focaccia and pizza there. A super delicious meal, perfectly prepared, and very friendly service. The restaurant is right on a main road. Therefore, the ambiance is urban, loud, and just right for a quick snack. We'll be back.
