06/02/2025: I love Compitese and have been thinking about trying this restaurant for a long time. We are a bit obsessed with pizza, so we chose a selection of seafood appetizers, excellent and beautiful, and two rather particular pizzas, one with stracciatella and raw prawns, lots of raw prawns, and the other was with Cantabrian anchovies, aubergines and buffalo mozzarella. The pizza dough is particular, not ultra flattened as is the case in Pontedera, where we live, nor high, it was somewhere in between, crunchy and soft, as we say ALIVE and not killed by presses and rolling pins, but above all the seasoning was exceptional, with the anchovies being really good in terms of flavor and consistency and the other with the raw prawns, nice and firm and tasty. Maybe it was missing a bit of colour, especially the aubergines with anchovies gave it too much grey, which then with the anchovies I would have added a couple of fillets of red peppers, but also for Instagram 🤪jokes aside, really excellent pizzas, overall we liked everything a lot, even the coffee had a cream which is now a rarity. No dessert, it's difficult for us to get to dessert, even if it doesn't look like it physically, I know. Prices seem regular to me, of course there are also very particular things, but the prices are fair. I hope to return soon.

08/01/2025: Gentlemen, here we are faced with a true masterpiece. This is not a simple pizzeria, it is much more. I speak as someone who has a profound knowledge of flours, ingredients and processing techniques, so trust me. The dough: absolute perfection, made with the highest quality type 1 flour and hydrated to the right degree, capable of giving life to a pizza that is both crunchy and melting when biting. It is a Roman round, but with a very pleasant greater hydration. The ingredients: a real surprise. From tomato to mozzarella, each element is carefully chosen and combined with impeccable balance. I tried a pizza called "vegan", very rich in ingredients, each of which stood out without ever dominating the others, creating an extraordinary tasting experience. The price: incredibly low, considering the quality of the raw materials, the kindness of the staff and the attention to service. Return? No, it's time to buy a house nearby directly!

28/12/2024: Welcoming and familiar environment, clean and rather soundproofed, you can chat well without having to shout. The hosts were very friendly, attentive and quick. The pizza, what can I say... fantastic. Price quality 👌 I recommend. Book early.

03/02/2025: Ristorante carino e dall'atmosfera molto tranquilla, ideale per una piacevole serata in compagnia. Servizio abbastanza veloce, scelte sul menù diverse dalla classica cucina toscana e che per questo hanno suscitato il mio interesse, cibo molto buono e con impiattamento accattivante.

19/01/2025: We discover the place by chance on The Fork. Sunday lunch. Nice environment both inside and outside the restaurant. The owners are very welcoming and kind. The dishes, on the other hand, are of high quality, beautiful to look at and good to eat. Very recommended. We will be back!

02/02/2025: The top of the top, everything perfect, dinner with friends in a homemade but intimate and well-kept tavern, tasty and expertly cooked food. We ate pappardelle with porcini mushrooms, grilled cod with chickpeas and herbs, a Canapino appetizer and tortelli with meat sauce, all delicious. The service was very kind and helpful. I recommend it to anyone looking for great food at a great price.

08/02/2025: I returned to this all you can eat restaurant after many years, where I didn't like the first time nor the place, but this time I returned and I must say that they made it very nice, beautiful environment, small but very very welcoming. Super good and beautiful dishes decorated very well and it is different compared to other sushi, they make many more meat-based things and have a lot of choice that you can't find elsewhere. I was very satisfied with everything, the waiter was very nice and smart. I'll be back Well done everyone

11/02/2025: Restaurant located on the hills of Lucca (San Pietro Marcigliano), sober environment but with a breathtaking view you can see the world, visited for a dinner, trained and kind staff, menu not very extensive but all very good, wine list, a variety of steaks on display, I and whoever was with me, we really enjoyed the food consumed, I recommend you visit.

Abbiamo alloggiato, fatto colazione e cenato presso il Rio Vorno e la nostra è stata un' esperienza più che positiva. Camere accoglienti, colazione e cene ottime e abbondanti, pratico pranzo al sacco da portare in fiera. Giovanni è stato inoltre di estremo supporto nell' accogliere le nostre esigenze di lavoro e personali (intolleranze alimentari e una gestante nello staff). Lo consigliamo caldamente

02/02/2025: Place located in a period villa, where the excellent Hombros hotel is located. Modern and elegant interior, with open kitchen and dehors. Very attentive and courteous service. Good quality dishes, for example Chicken with Brick and Humus, except Vitello Tonnato, actually in my opinion Roast Beef Tonnato. Remarkable cellar with excellent wines by the glass. Overall a great place.
