08/12/2024: Beautiful evening and great discovery of this restaurant. We celebrated a friend's birthday, we had a really good time. Clean, welcoming location. The landlady Elisa looked after us impeccably with professionalism and friendliness. The dishes are not only very good but also packed with personality. There was no chaos of voices or people shouting, we were able to talk calmly. Quality/price ok 👌 I highly recommend.

Camere accoglienti, colazione e cene ottime e abbondanti, pratico pranzo al sacco da portare in fiera. We ordered a Canapino appetizer for two, so to speak the appetizer included: truffled mortadella, ham, salami, cheese, croutons with lard and mushrooms, farinata, polenta with sauce and stuffed rabbit. We were already happy, everything was good. But we are not used to being satisfied and so we took a plate of tordelli and a sliced ​​steak with a side of chickpeas with herbs and chips. Il Canapino doesn't skimp on portions, both the tordelli and the sliced ​​meat could be eaten comfortably by two. The food is excellent and for the first time I found someone who understood how I want meat (this alone is worthy of a prize), finishing with two coffees and a Versilia dessert. Price???? €60 for two, considering the portions, the quality and service, we paid the bill happy and satisfied. Definitely coming back.

03/11/2024: Sono stato consigliato dal b&b dove alloggiavo e posso dire che mi ha dato un'ottima dritta. Il posto è immerso nella campagna lucchese e la struttura riesce a offrire degli ottimi pasti a km 0. La signora dedicata alla comanda, si rivela essere molto cordiale e professionale sapendomi indicare un ottimo antipasto(cannolo con ripieno di zucca) strepitoso! Prendo poi le costine cotte divinamente a bassa temperatura e un tiramisù eccezionale. Il clima, nonostante sia un agriturismo e decisamente di alto livello, con i camerieri gentili e preparati. Sono stato così bene che ci sono ritornato il giorno prima della partenza. Bravi davvero ❤️

And because we have been restaurant owners in the Netherlands for many years, we set the bar quite high. But this is a place where everything is right. I haven't enjoyed a dinner in a restaurant this much in a long time. We chose the truffle tasting menu. That was, in a word, fantastic! Beautifully prepared plates and everything taken care of down to the last detail. Also a compliment to the staff who carry out their work very professionally. Then there is also an extensive wine selection that will make the wine lover's heart beat faster. Last but not least, the elegant, warm interior of the restaurant, where you immediately feel at home because of the cozy atmosphere. In short, high praise! Keep it up!!
