The interior, dominated by a large wine display and wooden furnishings, creates an intimate and refined atmosphere. The location is immersed in greenery and surrounded by a backdrop of greenery and light, making it perfect for events and celebrations. The dishes we tried were all excellent, from the divine pici all'aglione to the tender and flavorful pork ribs, even the vegetable flan, pumpkin risotto, and cauliflower cooked three times. We also celebrated a baptism here and were warmly welcomed by the owner and the wait staff, who were extremely helpful, friendly, and professional, contributing to a serene and festive atmosphere. All our guests were won over by the hospitality, the cuisine, and the beauty of the venue. Very fair prices. An excellent experience, where cuisine, atmosphere, and attention to detail come together perfectly.

09/01/2026: We visit Sarah and Renato almost every year when we're on holiday in Capannori and always look forward to eating the most delicious pizza in the area. I always make a reservation from Germany for at least two evenings, and it always works out perfectly. Amazing pizza, lovely service! We'll be back again and again!

24/12/2025: I had lunch at La Cucina dello Scompiglio today, and overall, I'm giving it three stars based more on trust than on genuine satisfaction (otherwise, it would have been two). The main issue, from my perspective, is a significant discrepancy between the menu and what's actually served. The vocabulary used on the menu creates expectations that aren't reflected in either the plating or the overall experience. The presentation of the dishes was very basic, even sloppy. A concrete example is the charcuterie and cheese platter: served not on a real platter but on a serving platter, with cold cuts piled together, under-appreciated cheeses, and a jam placed in a rather questionable manner. Overall, a dish that feels "thrown in," out of line with the offerings and, especially, the price. Regarding the quality of the meat and the plating of the other dishes, I wasn't convinced by the quality of the food compared to the price. Another important aspect: the menu is almost entirely based on vegetables/vegetarian dishes. Nothing bad in itself, but this should be made much clearer. My friends and I had a hard time choosing because the menu didn't clearly communicate this. Another negative note about dessert: I ordered a revisited panna cotta, which I barely tasted and left almost entirely. I didn't like it at all, and was surprised that no one asked if I liked it. Considering a panna cotta is a rather simple dessert, it left me perplexed. I sincerely believe the place has potential, but in my opinion it needs a general overhaul: from the menu, to the presentation, to the consistency between the menu, dishes, and prices. I hope this review can be useful as a starting point for improvement. For now, personally, I don't think I'll be returning anytime soon.

06/03/2026: A simple place, friendly and knowledgeable service, simple food prepared without excess and in truly appropriate portions. A place that, unfortunately, is becoming rarer than the pandas in favor of plastic kitchens and heaters (not to be confused with restaurateurs). If you're in the area, go with confidence and ask for advice without fearing reviews that may have been based solely on malice or an understandable mistake. Well done!

27/11/2025: We had dinner and ordered two pinsa. The dough was very good. The waitress messed up one order, but she was very kind and fixed it right away by having the pinsa remade. The gluten-free and lactose-free options were excellent.

03/11/2025: The pinza is very good, and there are also interesting variations for those who aren't traditional (always margherita, preferably with mushrooms). For example, a friend of ours had the pinza with kebab, and it was beautiful to look at and a great pairing. The atmosphere is simple and intimate, perfect for a Saturday night. Excellent beer selection, and good value.

13/10/2025: There were six of us, including three small children. In short: phenomenal! Superb service with an exceptional host, who took the time to explain the menu and the seasonal offerings. Great food and even better Maremma beef. Even on our second visit, just the two of us, it was fantastic. Thank you!

28/02/2026: One of the most delicious pizzerias in the area. Pizzas for every taste and color. Made with fresh ingredients. And the pizzas aren't small—they don't skimp on ingredients. The service is high-quality and fast. You don't have to wait for all the takeout pizzas, and then the dining room takes priority, and only then the takeout. There's an indoor dining area (for the winter) and a garden (for the summer), and both are cozy, showing the owner has put a lot of effort into it. Parking is available, both private and public, so you can always find a spot.

04/10/2025: We've been going to Lay's for years. The food is fresh and high-quality, the atmosphere is beautiful and welcoming, like home, but with attention to every detail. It's a real plus compared to other sushi places in the area! They even have an outdoor seating area! The sushi is absolutely top-notch, and the price is more than fair...we always come back :)!

23/02/2026: A very simple and charming place. A very homely cuisine where you can enjoy local dishes, definitely freshly cooked. In the winter, the upstairs dining room has a wonderful fireplace that's always lit. The food is very good, some dishes could perhaps be improved, but the value is excellent! Fair prices, €30 per person for a hearty meal. It must be lovely in the summer too, with the outdoor terrace.

22/02/2026: We found ourselves by chance in this truly enchanting house converted into an inn... furnished in the style of times past... and you feel invaded by a homely, family atmosphere. Excellent food cooked just like grandmas used to... very kind and attentive service. We will definitely be back and I recommend anyone who hasn't been to try this enchanting place.
