We chose this restaurant because it offered alternatives to "just pizza." We were impressed with the quality of the food, as well as the prices. The two waiters were very friendly and welcoming. Although we didn't speak Italian, they communicated very well with English or Spanish.

The food was a bit heavy, but good. The service was quick and the price was reasonable. The fried chicken was excellent! The waitresses were a little strange because when we went to pay, they teased us with jokes and inappropriate smiles.

We went for lunch expecting a nice little place recommended by the Michelin guide. The location was nothing special (the glass in the beautiful front door was dirty!), and the table setting wasn't even complete with the cutlery wrapped in paper napkins. The lady who welcomed and served us was very kind and attentive. The background music was very pleasant. The bill seemed excessive to me. Thanks anyway!

A small, excellent trattoria. We were a group of 44 and were served quickly with excellent dishes. The atmosphere is rustic but pleasant. The owner is kind and very helpful. Highly recommended.

20/04/2026: I stayed for two nights on a business trip. It was excellent in every way: the room was simple but spotlessly clean, the dinner was excellent, the staff were incredibly friendly, and I felt right at home. I'll be back!
06/04/2026: We returned after a few years, and "Eliseo" continues to be an excellent choice both as a B&B and as a restaurant. The Easter lunch was plentiful and delicious; the spinach flan deserves special mention. Eliseo remains our go-to in Garfagnana.

06/04/2026: We had lunch with friends in a very simple restaurant with an outdoor veranda. The first courses were delicious: Lucchese tordelli with ragu and macaroni with wild boar. The second courses were excellent: sliced ​​beef, fried chicken, and rabbit. And to finish, the typical Lucchese torte coi becchi. Water, wine, and coffee, all for €40.
23/02/2026: A very simple and charming place. A very homely cuisine where you can enjoy local dishes, definitely freshly cooked. In the winter, the upstairs dining room has a wonderful fireplace that's always lit. The food is very good, some dishes could perhaps be improved, but the value is excellent! Fair prices, €30 per person for a hearty meal. It must be lovely in the summer too, with the outdoor terrace.
