17/08/2024: Porzioni scarse, cibo discreto, proprietà arrogante e maleducato,. Il pos non funzionava ed il proprietario ad alta voce esclama che il pos è un servizio che mette a disposizione dei clienti e di venire con i contanti. Sconsigliatissimo.

17/08/2024: Durante il giro dell'isola siamo saliti da Luigi per il pranzo. Mangiato paste, carne di agnello e carne varia. Molto bene il tutto , consigliato.

27/07/2024: Wir waren hier mit Freunden und Familie spontan beim Mittagessen. Der Service extrem freundlich. Trotz sprachlicher Barrieren hat jeder bekommen was er wollte. Vorab gab es ein unglaublich leckeres Pizzabrot, dass mir immernoch das Wasser im Munde zusammen laufen lässt! Die Tomatensosse auf der Pizza war genau so genial! Ich liebe es wenn einfache Sachen so lecker sind! Für 3x Nudeln mit Meeresfrüchten, 1x Pizza, 3x Kinderpasta und Wasser un Hülle und Fülle haben wir gerade mal 100€ bezahlt!

23/07/2024: Leggo diverse recensioni positive, il che mi fa pensare che magari abbiamo scelto una serata “sfortunata”. Lo staff è stato molto gentile e il prezzo anche credo sia giusto, ma purtroppo il fritto era quasi immangiabile.

24/08/2024: Cafonousness! I would like to share the extremely negative experience I had last night. Group of friends with children on a very normal evening. My wife ordered a plate of gnocchi for my daughter at 8.50pm, after a few minutes the little girl changed her mind, and we asked the waitress (to whom we suggest changing jobs given her lack of propensity to treat the customer with kindness) to change the fish gnocchi dish with gnocchi in tomato sauce. The answer was that since the order had left there was nothing that could be done. We then asked for an additional plate of tomato gnocchi (so we would have paid for 2 dishes even though we only wanted 1). Moral 10.20pm plate of gnocchi still not arrived, the little girl was crying from hunger. I asked the "kind" waitress, to whom I suggested changing jobs soon (perhaps 6 months in Antarctica in total isolation could help) to call the chef, who agreed with the resigned proposal of taking the little girl to the pizzeria across the street. Late apologies for a ruined evening are worth little. In short, nice place, good food, non-existent service and courtesy. Thanks never again.

22/08/2024: Tourist trap The view is a dream. I recommend having a drink there. I can't cook myself. But what is served there, even I can do better. Or in other words, everything without taste. Absolutely disappointing and the service responded to friendly queries in a stroppy, annoyed manner and the head waiter became really cheeky. For no reason. Apparently they are often asked about the fact that everything tastes the same. The fish tastes like the pasta, which in turn tastes like the meat. I can't explain the passive aggressive reaction any other way.

14/07/2024: The food was ridiculous, we bought 6 pizza, funghi, margherita, tono, diavola, crudo, vegie with cotto. Very un tasty food, too fin, too crunchy, without salt, without taste and the pizza was uncut imposibile to cut and eat. We were on the road and my kids fell asleep hungry. Very bad experience. Don’t recommend. I eat for 20 years pizza in Italy, in Napoli, Rome, Milano , hundred of pizza allover the years but never such a tasteless as the one in Costalli La Capitana.i like crunchy pizza not tall but this was Absolutely ridiculous! Avoid the place!

10/08/2024: Overall, the experience was great! While there was no English menu, the waitress was extremely helpful. The food was excellent, the place was clean, and you could really sense the staff's passion for taking care of their customers. My only suggestion would be to offer pizza that can be enjoyed on the beach.

19/07/2024: Heerlijk eten voor een goede prijs. Alleen hiervoor gaan we zeker nog een keer terug naar Elba. Er is een kleine kaart, De pasta is overheerlijk, tomatensaus, maar ook de Ragu en de ala di mare zijn voortreffelijk. Op vrij-zat- zondag staat ook de grill aan en. Heerlijke verse vis en vlees van de grill. En de tiramisu… de lekkerste van Elba. Wij zijn deze vakantie wel 5x terug gegaan om alles te proeven en nog eens te eten. Tot volgende keer!

15/08/2024: Nach der Bestellaufgabe 30 min Wartezeit, obwohl nichts los war. Getränke sind nur auf Nachfrage nach 45 min gekommen. Die Essen sind zu unterschiedlichen Zeiten gekommen(15 min) Später. Service mangelhaft. Essen war jedoch Okey. Hat jedoch den Preis nicht gerechtfertigt. Für ein ehemaliges Michelin Sternchen sehr schade

07/08/2024: We kwamen aan en werden aardig begroet. We hadden een mooie tafel aangewezen gekregen ik wilde graag mijn eigen pizza maken in Italië en dat is hier gelukt. hele aardige pizza chefs en top deeg het was super leuk om hier pizza te mogen maken.

02/08/2024: Stayed at the end of June. Booked for a week, left after two days. Even though I pointed out that everything was dirty, nothing was done. Ruined holiday.

25/06/2024: 2 5&5 with aubergines 1 bottle of foam at the table, then I take another 5&5 to take away for my son, I ask if I can take the leftover bottle of foam, (it was half in the glass) asking "I'll pay for the empty amount"... No ! glass cannot be taken away, so I take a plastic foam to bring to my son... I arrive at the bill of 25 euros...receipt without details but only total!!! Like hell you'll see me again.. A lifelong customer of Galassi and from Livorno, I honestly felt like I was screwed!! HIGH PRICES AND RECEIPT NOT CLEAR It happened years ago but I realized it hadn't been published..

13/04/2024: Hopeful, a friend and I decide to try this pizzeria using The Fork. To him, who ordered two platters (one of cured meats, one of cheeses, €17 in total), they bring the first which contains 3 transparent slices of scamorza, 3 slices of what looked like primosale, some walnuts, some thickly sliced ​​pears a micron, none of the three jams offered on the menu. The cold cuts platter is sufficient, but with such an expense we expected at least a few pieces of flatbread! I order a 5/5 with anchovies and burrata, after 5 minutes I'm told that they've run out of flatbread (in a pizzeria?), only to be corrected later. After another 15 minutes, they realize they don't have burrata available, at which point I decide to fall back with a 5/5 with the aubergine. When it finally arrives, the schiacciata appears soggy, clearly from the day before, the cake is undercooked with almost no pepperiness, and finally there were 3 slices of aubergine, with no taste. High price, menu not respected, slow and inattentive service, so-so cleanliness. If you don't want to get ripped off, go elsewhere.

19/03/2024: Location in the central pedestrian area. Recently renovated with very pleasant interiors and a small external veranda. Pretty good Tuscan crostini, pappardelle with wild boar, and ni. So-so service. Even though it was hot we had lunch inside, there were two of us. They placed us at a small table against the wall under the air conditioner. After a while I look for something in the backpack that I had placed on the chair under the air conditioner and it was all wet. We noticed that water was leaking and the chair and the entire floor underneath it were wet. We point this out and ask to change tables. We sat in the one next door. Then we noticed other things, cobwebs, a bit of dust. One person brought the shopping and then had lunch in the kitchen. Being a very small environment you can see and notice everything. It's not done.
