A stop at Saltarelli was definitely a peaceful and refreshing break for us before boarding the ferry to Olbia. It gave us a true taste of the authentic, genuine side of Livorno's port, and it's also a great alternative to the traditional, predictable ferry terminal across the street. We had a great time!

It was incredibly loud and the drinks were expensive! The staff was overwhelmed! No snacks were offered with the aperitivo.

09/09/2025: The pizza was delicious. The service was a bit cold. Great location!
14/08/2025: A very pretty place, however, it's regrettable to serve food of this quality. The dishes are overly salty and spicy, leaving your mouth on fire and your palate scorched. It was impossible to cool down given the temperature of the wine, which was boiling hot. The service was also lacking in friendliness. Considering the setting, a change of chef is strongly recommended!

05/10/2025: Bar with restrooms and showers. For €10-15 you can get a sandwich and a beer. The place is right on the beach and convenient to beach services. For a fee, you can use the restroom or take hot showers. Sandwiches and beers are average.
