I chose the restaurant based on the prices displayed, to be honest. It was the most reasonably priced restaurant we found along the promenade, and we noticed that the portions were quite generous. As soon as I sat down at the table, I wanted to look up reviews of this place, intrigued. Many reviews complain about the fact that only the owner can take orders. I understand that this may seem strange to some, but honestly, each place chooses what's most convenient for them. We didn't have to wait to order, we had no problems with the orders, and we never received the wrong order. Everything went smoothly. The only thing I feel a little quarrelsome about is that the runners are often unable to answer simple questions, and they often seemed to be caught off guard, so much so that they had to call the owner to answer. But other than that, there really are no flaws: the place is delightful, the food excellent, truly delicious! I recommend the grilled squid! And don't be intimidated by the mixed seafood platter, which from the way it's described sounds like a thrown-in seafood salad (which ultimately seemed like a small dish, so we didn't choose it), because it was passed right by us at another table and we regretted not having it! If you scroll through the reviews with photos, you'll definitely see it. The price was very fair, four of us ate, spending €25 each. We had a seafood first course, a charcuterie board (four or five, I don't remember; different types of charcuterie with four or five, I don't remember that either, slices of each type), a regular pizza and a gluten-free pizza, a plate of grilled squid, a bottle of water, a Coke, and four fries. We all left satisfied, so much so that we didn't even go for gelato afterwards as we had planned. Honestly, I recommend it as a place, and to those who judge their work, I can only say one thing: open your own place and then you can talk!

I only read the reviews after we had been there. I completely disagree with them. The food was truly fantastic. We had a Caprese salad, lasagna, spaghetti carbonara, spaghetti ragu, and the beef steak. All four of us finished off with a delicious tiramisu. Nice staff, quick to assist, and so lovely with our daughter. I don't know where the negative reviews come from because that was not our experience at all. We would love to come back again 🩷

A restaurant in the commercial heart of town, simple in appearance but with good food. Dining is available both inside and outside. Good value for money, but not always in line with the customer service, which is always handled by the owner and not the staff. This leads to long wait times and confusion when ordering. Recommended, given that the food deserves a little more empathy towards the customer...

Mauro runs a great restaurant. The food is great, the prices are good. And the staff are amazing. Shout out to our pirate girl and to Mauro for being so hospitable.

The best of the best. Every seafood dish is such good quality and really made with love. They checked on us every few minutes if we need something, Mauro always has nice people working there and always feels like a big family. Despite the low rating, the restaurant is worth recommending. The food is delicious and served quickly. This restaurant is for people who want a delicious meal but don't want to dine for long.
