06/08/2024: We went in to drink a beer, not knowing the proposals shown on the board, I asked the staff for advice, asking for a normal blonde beer as my preference as similar to a German Lager or Pils, I was served a "beer" with a non-citrus flavor I know if it was more like a lemon soda or a lemon diger seltzer.. I wonder what's the point of having so many Pseudo beers on the list that are far from the flavor of a good German, Czechoslovakian or Belgian beer, etc., which are REAL beers and not these concoctions that have little beer... perhaps to pose and losing sight of the real focus of your restaurant's sign.... I reply to the owner's answer of "short memory" easy to talk about later, I repeat I had asked the very vague one, a very normal blonde beer probably not contemplated in her place of beer connoisseurs as if they were sommeliers in the Bolgheri DOC wine sector... I go abroad, and especially in Germany the beers like the one you served me, there isn't even a shadow of it and its absurd tastes and flavors are anything but real beer, even the wine in tetra pack bricks bears the word wine... be less wisely opinionated, the beer that he served to me you may call it beer but it was some sort of sour and citrusy carbonated stuff, be proud to call it beer. 13/05/2025: restaurant located inside the Le Calanchiole campsite...very good food, both fish and pizza (I tried the Caramenlla and it was delicious) only flaw..the service..it was very fast but unfortunately they had forgotten a first course (which obviously arrived when the others had already finished) and an appetizer arrived after the pizza -...shame, but they were kind anyway and apologized for what happened...I don't give 5 stars for that...

22/06/2025: I had the pleasure of dining at this place and I was really satisfied. The pizza is excellent, prepared with quality ingredients and a perfect leavening that makes it light and digestible. The location is fantastic, with attention to detail and a welcoming atmosphere, ideal for a dinner with friends. A round of applause also to the staff, always kind and professional, attentive to the needs of customers without ever being intrusive. Highly recommended

22/06/2025: Excellent pizza, with a high crust and well-seasoned. Compliments to the very attentive and well-organized staff, the waits for both the order and the service were really short. The location is very suggestive and I thank Francesca who managed to make us feel at ease. Recommended.

18/05/2025: Appetizer with anchovies good, arrived with the first course of the child. then......nothing we had ordered only two first courses, but after 35 minutes still nothing. to my protests they arrived. Tagliatelle sausage and mushrooms insipid, seafood linguine with a bitter aftertaste

23/11/2024: If you could give zero stars for the service I would! we went for lunch in this bar we had a nice table yesterday...we waited a good 20 minutes to get the dishes we asked the blonde girl for water 3 times and the same thing wasn't brought to us with the bread...which we didn't really see! we then asked for coffee and she acted as if we didn't exist and went to smoke a cigarette as if nothing had happened. after 15 minutes the coffees arrive as if they were water! VERY BAD experience. I highly recommend that if you have to work like this, change jobs, we will never return

21/06/2025: We have been coming to Elba for many years on holiday and we often go out for dinner we went to Sassi Rossi the only one to try in Cavo the impact was positive good mussels very good house appetizer and here ends the positive experience remaining 45 minutes waiting for the fried food and scialatielli which turned out to be normal unfortunately also in the almost total indifference of the staff who did not say a word to justify the wait except for one person in the hope that the quality would justify the delay I paid the bill directly at the cashier and certainly I will not return

12/06/2025: Boat trip with friends to Elba Island and we treat ourselves to a fish lunch in this little restaurant on the seafront of Cavo. Really quiet climate and a relaxing atmosphere in addition to a really good fish lunch.

01/06/2025: Het eten stelt niet zo veel voor. Na een aantal dagen lekkere pizza’s, was dit eigenlijk gewoon een teleurstelling. Matige en zeer kleine pizza uit een mal, niet met de hand gedraaid zoals je bij Italiaanse pizza’s verwacht. Ook de pasta (bolognese) voor de kinderen, die overigens pas kwam toen wij maar aan de pizza begonnen waren, omdat het zó lang duurde, was niet denderend. De pasta was niet gaar. Toetjes maar overgeslagen, dat doen we ergens anders maar. Bediening was op zich vriendelijk, maar spreekt geen woord Engels, lastig communiceren. Dat is op zich niet eens heel erg, maar als je de kaart in het Italiaans en Engels afdrukt, dan mag je er toch vanuit gaan dat iemand zelf begrijpt wat er staat. Locatie is mooi, maar een berg aan oude barrels belemmeren je uitzicht, dus veel zie je niet. Wc’s waren niet al te schoon en er was geen lamp te bekennen. Al met al, eens maar niet weer. Denk dat er genoeg andere restaurants zijn in de regio die betere kwaliteit leveren.

27/04/2025: Domenica a pranzo con amici, atmosfera tranquilla, cibo buono con porzioni un po’ contenute…tutto nella normalità se non fosse per un’esternazione maleducata e del tutto gratuita da parte del titolare, in seguito a una richiesta lecita di un commensale. Se la situazione è questa a inizio stagione, figuriamoci ad agosto! Auguri!

12/06/2025: Since the restaurant was busy, we decided to eat there, which was a mistake. The waiter shuffled around the terrace in a very unmotivated manner and practically threw our plate onto the table while serving us, and the food was not attractively presented. The taste was tolerable, but not fine Italian cuisine. The restroom facilities were abysmal. There was no cistern cover and it couldn't be locked. A waste of money and time.

12/06/2025: My partner and I had dinner in this cute little place but it turned out to be an experience not to be repeated, the waiters seem to be taken from the street, one in particular who doesn't even know the table numbers and who when he arrives shouts the dishes and seems to throw them at you, the same one who accidentally kicked my partner's chair while passing by without even apologizing, instead telling him "watch out" as if it was his fault. We ended the dinner by asking for a coffee, maybe with the same powder they had already made a coffee previously because I only received dirty water. Let's not talk about the bill, we asked if they would bring it to the table after 15 minutes of waiting (taking into account that there were 4 tables that had already finished eating), since no one took us into account we had to get up, if they had told us come to the cashier we would have gone willingly, too bad because the food is decent.

02/03/2025: È il ristorante dell'omonimo hote, situato in un prestigioso edificio proprio di fronte al Porto Mediceo. Arredamento con pretese di eleganza. Menù incentrato soprattutto su piatti di pesce. Qualità del cibo nella norma.

13/01/2025: Purtroppo non ho la foto della tartare di tonno presente nel crudo di mare perché solo il colore rendeva l’idea, ordiniamo un crudo che arriva con odore a dir poco sgradevole, ovviamente viene rimandato indietro e per poter riordinare un altro antipasto devo aspettare 20 minuti cosa non giusta visto lo spiacevole episodio. Ordiniamo un altro antipasto ovvero moscardini cacciuccati ed arrivano insipidi e così decido di fermare i primi e pagare anche se pensavo di non doverlo fare visto il trattamento ridicolo. Mi fanno parlare con lo chef quasi stizzito che ammette di aver mandato un crudo imbarazzante e nonostante ciò mi fanno pagare una bottiglia di vino da 20€ veramente ridicoli e non all’altezza
