25/09/2025: Nice big place to take kids for their fun, we ate a simple pizza 🍕 🍕🤚🏻

22/09/2025: We had pasta with prawns and a meat platter with fries. Unfortunately, neither was edible. The pasta was more than chewy (raw) and absolutely not tasty. The meat was cooked through, tough, and underseasoned, and the sausage tasted rancid. We sent the food back. The full amount was charged on the bill! The staff was very friendly, though! Comment on the chef: "The Germans" Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it!

20/01/2026: The food was delicious; we had pasta with seafood and tortellini with wild boar ragout. Everything tasted great—but the pasta came with Parmesan cheese from a bag that was just sitting on the plate—and this was in Italy! Absolutely unacceptable! The staff was friendly and helpful.

04/10/2025: The rooms were very dirty, and we were left without water for 5 hours. All the rooms didn't meet our expectations. The owner was very rude, demanding cash upon arrival before showing us the rooms. There were 13 of us, including our motorcycles.

22/02/2026: Very beautiful place, I had been there 15 years ago and I must say with great pleasure that I found it enchanting as always, the food excellent, I highly recommend the half board, it is nice to find very welcoming and kind young people and always smiling, a great experience with the children, a few flaws: the showers on the beach do not work well and the shower stall has some leaks, if staying more than a week perhaps a little more movement would have been useful, but the center is close, it is easy to get there, I highly recommend this place.

21/02/2026: To me, this unfortunately did not feel like a 4-star hotel - more like a campsite with apartments. Rooms: The first double room we were given was clearly quite old. It smelled musty, and the air felt damp. There were many mosquitoes, and we even found small bugs crawling on the table next to the bed. Thankfully, the staff was kind and offered us an upgrade to a newly renovated bungalow. That room was much nicer and more comfortable. Location: The resort area is huge, and the beach is beautiful. It’s generally clean, but some areas definitely need renovation and felt run down. Without a car or another way to get around, you’re basically stuck at the resort. The main restaurant (All’Orto) was disappointing. It felt cramped, and the food was often overcooked - not what you would expect from a 4-star hotel restaurant. During breakfast, sparkling water was not available, and the tables and chairs were frequently dirty. The bread was hard, and if you didn’t arrive early, much of the food was already gone. Service: The staff was friendly and helpful, especially when they offered us an upgrade after we reported the bugs. However, having to pay extra for beach towels was frustrating and felt unnecessary for a hotel of this category. Entertainment: The gym and sports facilities were quite old and clearly in need of renovation. The evening shows were questionable. On our first night, there was an “African Night.” The “Afro show” felt like it appropriated cultural symbols, clothing, and performance styles without providing any meaningful historical or cultural context. It did not seem like people with a genuine connection to the culture were involved. Instead, it felt as though culture was reduced to tourist entertainment rather than being presented with respect and authenticity. We found this quite shocking.

07/02/2026: What can I say... Classic Mac and assorted sandwiches in a variety of grains for all tastes, best enjoyed hot. Drinks are watered down compared to those you find on the market. Excellent selection of desserts. More than decent fries. Welcoming atmosphere with staff willing to help those unfamiliar with the modern kiosks. Good deals.

20/09/2025: My husband and I had dinner last Thursday at this delightful restaurant in Marciana Marina. I'll say right away that everything was absolutely perfect. From the crisp white tablecloths and simple, simple table settings to the warm, welcoming smile of the blonde lady who also greeted us with a welcome and unexpected glass of bubbly. The appetizers were excellent: he had ricotta gnudi, I had a selection of antipasti, followed by perfectly cooked baked sea bass, fragrant with the sea and good olive oil. Desserts: I had a selection of macarons, my husband had an orange parfait, both delicious, and were even offered as a surprise with the bill. What can I say? The genuine friendliness and extraordinary professionalism of the lady and her elegant assistant are truly unforgettable. A beloved place, a place to return to whenever you can.

03/02/2026: My partner and I booked a table here for one evening during our stay on Elba Island in June 2023. I should start by saying we don't know what the restaurant is like inside, as we dined on the covered veranda overlooking the sea, which was very pretty. The staff was friendly, but not at all professional or knowledgeable. The service was clumsy and bordering on ridiculous. We ordered two plates of seafood linguine; the pasta was overcooked, and the fish was visibly frozen (which I couldn't understand, given that Rio Marina is located by the sea and Elba offers a wide variety of fresh seafood everywhere). Everything was way too salty, wallowing in the watery sauce. The bottle of wine we ordered wasn't available, so we relied on the waitress. The wine was good. The fried fish was extremely salty and overcooked; we had to leave it because it was inedible. We finished with two terrible coffees, but they didn't ruin the dinner we'd just finished. The bill arrived, if possible, more expensive than the dishes listed above. A real disaster. I never write negative reviews, but that dinner ruined the rest of the evening, and we were annoyed that, even though we hadn't eaten anything, no one bothered to ask what the problem was. I don't recommend it.

01/12/2025: We visited Frenzio Restaurant for a 50th birthday party and couldn't have made a better choice. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with great kindness and professionalism, qualities we found throughout the entire staff throughout the evening. The option of a private room made the atmosphere even more special, allowing us to celebrate in complete tranquility and comfort. The culinary experience was simply excellent. We began with a truly delicious appetizer, prepared with fresh ingredients and meticulously crafted. This was followed by a second course of first courses that won us over: the creamy and fragrant mushroom risotto, and the flavorful and perfectly balanced macaroni with sausage ragù. The quality of the dishes was further confirmed by the mixed grill, cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. Each course was served with attention, and the chef's passion for cooking and his desire to offer guests a memorable experience were clearly evident. The welcoming and refined atmosphere also helped make lunch or dinner a truly enjoyable experience. All in all, Frenzio Restaurant gave us a wonderful experience, both gastronomically and personally. Excellent food, impeccable staff, perfect atmosphere: what more could you ask for? Highly recommended!

15/07/2025: Unfortunately I was only there for a few days, I would never have left, the food is excellent, typical local dishes, always fresh products but above all well cooked 👍 Roberto, Francesco and Federico run a great place making you feel immediately at ease, the great waitress Debora (without H) never leaves your glass empty😂 highly recommended also for the location, very close to many shops but above all to beautiful seaside resorts. I can't wait to return

14/02/2026: I enter, say hello, and the greeting isn't returned. The waitress ignores the customers in front of me, who leave after a few minutes. I approach the counter, and she ignores me. I go to the register because I have to get the receipt first, and she continues minding her own business. There's only one table of customers already served, me, the waitress, and maybe some ghosts only she sees. After five minutes, I left. I wonder if she noticed.

18/12/2025: Good morning, On November 30th, I visited your restaurant with my wife and ordered two smoothies. However, we noticed that the woman in charge of preparing them seemed visibly ill: she was barely able to speak, had a runny nose, and repeatedly touched her nose without gloves, then wiped her hands under her nose and handled the fruit. To avoid possible contamination, we decided to leave and interrupt the preparation, which had only just begun (they had only opened one pomegranate). A few days later, I returned to the restaurant and, after explaining what had happened, they refused to even refill the order.
