03/05/2024: Nice little hotel and restaurant. Quiet location and 2 minutes to the sea. Good swimming opportunities and everything in town can be reached on foot. Fresh fruit vegetables and pizza and posta. ATM available. Everything perfect 👍

03/09/2024: We were only guests at the restaurant and we really liked it! We were given a lot of different tasty things to try and drinks from the bar, so we booked a table for lunch. The service was very good, it was very comfortable to sit at the table, not hot, as there was a breeze.

01/09/2024: The establishment is well equipped, well maintained and very clean. The staff maintains control despite the heat and the amount of people. Lunch was really good, nothing fancy, the spaghetti with clams were plentiful and very good, as were the fried food and everything we took, the quality of the wines was average. For dinner we stopped for a pizza, low and crunchy, good fried food and fast service. Excellent prices for being in Circeo.

26/11/2023: Good food, right portion but you have to add the laundry and hairdresser for the girls to the bill it seems like we've been in the kitchen preparing all the dishes for a long time we smell like food

23/09/2023: Excellent and quality food... Friendly and helpful managers and staff. We ate swordfish and mixed fried fish with homemade dessert. All very good.... We will be back to eat pizza!!! Here I am!!! Came back after 2 days to eat pizza on the cutting board..... Fantastic!!!! Thin and crunchy pizza, delicious... Highly recommended.... See you soon!!!!

21/08/2024: The gluten-free pizzas were literally raw. They are inedible. The products seem really badly made, also I see that some people say that they look raw! Very bad

20/08/2024: unfortunately they gave me the wrong pizza, I had asked for the bufalina and they brought me the Margherita, still making me pay for the bufalina. I realized this after having 5 more pizzas and being in a hurry. also the gluten free pizzas were undercooked, all the pizzas received had cheese and tomato which looked cheap, had a strange taste and were not fresh at all. hard and fine pizza, with products that I could also buy at the supermarket. even dear for what they are..

27/08/2024: Saturday evening, there were 16 of us. Terrible service, we had to wait more than 40 minutes for a waitress to show up to ask for the order. They didn't even bring us water or a menu. Then we had to wait another 20 minutes for the only waitress who actually took the orders to arrive, who told us that we had to wait 40 minutes for the pizza because there were 3 pizza chefs and there were a lot of people, insinuating that it was almost our fault because we were many and above all we also wanted to eat pizza. We arrived at 9pm, ate at 11pm. Absolutely shameful. They didn't even apologize. Never again

25/08/2024: We had a dinner for 16 people; since they accepted our table, they should have offered us at least decent service, and I say decent because it was a Saturday night anyway, and I can understand the chaos a bit. Only one waitress, out of at least 4, was taking orders, another one arrived after at least an hour just to ask us for a drink because they hadn't even brought us some water. Indeed, when we asked to order, we were either completely ignored, and therefore they avoided our gaze, or they said a cross word like "yes..." And then they ran away. The pizza arrived around 11pm (after about two hours of being there), unsympathetic waitresses (the ones who talked), it seemed like it was our fault from their statements like "eh, I'm sorry but if you order pizza it will take at least 40 minutes" ( after already an hour of waiting). What the hell did you think we were ordering since it's also a pizzeria???? They didn't even give us a discount. I will never go back again

21/08/2024: La cucina di questo locale è una vera e propria esperienza nella tradizione della cucina livornese. Anche la gestione del locale, e la sala, rappresentano bene la tipica "arsicatura" livornese. Ottimi gli antipasti, in particolare il ragù di mare servito su scagliozzi di polenta.

06/05/2024: Dritter Abend auf Elba, drittes Restaurant. Dieses Mal ging es auf Empfehlung in das „La Cantina del Mare“. Von der Lage her eher mittelmäßig, irgendwo im Stadtkern, kein Wasser in Sicht und auch kein Grün drumherum. Wir wurden auf jeden Fall sehr nett an der Tür empfangen und durften uns gleich einen Tisch aussuchen. Auf Grund der immer noch etwas kühlen Temperaturen in den Abendstunden entschieden wir uns für einen Tisch im Innenbereich. Das Ambiente hat mich jetzt nicht gerade vom Hocker gerissen und den angeschalteten Fernseher im Hintergrund hätte ich auch nicht benötigt. Naja, jetzt saßen wir und die Bedienung war ja auch sehr freundlich. Gegessen haben wir u.a. den gemischten Salat mit Polpo und Oliven und auch den Schwertfisch mit gegrilltem Gemüse. Außerdem die Fritto Misto und für den Junior mal wieder die liebgewonnene Pizza Margherita mit Pommes belegt. Wenn es schmeckt. Der Salat war lecker, der Schwertfisch etwas trocken für meinen Geschmack. Die Portionen auf jeden Fall reichhaltig. Auch wenn der Service gut war, der Funke ist bei mir nicht so übergesprungen an diesem Abend. Aber manchmal passt es halt einfach nicht.

04/05/2024: Abbiamo cenato la prima volta in questo ristorante per caso visto che abbiamo soggiornato nelle vicinanze e abbiamo subito prenotato per un’altra cena. Piatti deliziosi e di ottima qualità, partendo dagli antipasti ( abbiamo cenato a base di pesce) fino al caffè….si assapora bene la mano dello chef napoletano! Cordiale e professionale anche tutto il personale, soprattutto Domenico che ci ha saputo consigliare i vari piatti e coccolare nostro figlio con il sorbetto offerto da loro. Consiglio vivamente di fermarsi qui per una cena a base di pesce. Ah dimenticavo…la pastiera ottima!
