28/02/2026: A simple place, with basic but good dishes. Just steps from a natural paradise of rare beauty. Try not to go around mid-August because it gets really chaotic. Overall, for a simple, unpretentious meal, it's fine. I would check the sanitary conditions of the restrooms more frequently. If it's crowded, more thorough cleaning is needed.

01/01/2026: I'll add, for the owner who keeps arguing and has hundreds of reviews like mine, that my husband teaches restaurant techniques, and when I speak up, she rightfully continues to insult me ​​by talking about my IQ. She's essentially telling me I'm mentally unskilled, but she'll continue to have the same problems with people because I see she's not interested in understanding or improving. She's always in line anyway...*** I'm rewriting the review so the owner understands. The staff works really, really hard. The place is beautiful. What don't I like? First, whether you've booked or not, you'll be left waiting in line outside until you're called. Second, I think they're overbooked and can't handle the influx of people. (In the summer, all the restaurants have shifts for lunch and dinner, so let's be clear.) Third, I didn't like the pizza because of the dough. And fourth, the bathrooms, which are in a small building in the middle of a garden, are dirty because of the uncivilized people? Maybe, but since anyone coming up from the beach or a beautiful garden can access it, it's not just customers who can go there. And in my opinion, the bathrooms are unusable and need to be cleaned. The prices, especially for the food, are very high. Incidentally, my opinion is shared by many people. Read all the people who gave it one or two stars. And the piqued responses speak volumes. Sic... I don't recommend it, you'll ruin your evening with nerves.

14/02/2026: I enter, say hello, and the greeting isn't returned. The waitress ignores the customers in front of me, who leave after a few minutes. I approach the counter, and she ignores me. I go to the register because I have to get the receipt first, and she continues minding her own business. There's only one table of customers already served, me, the waitress, and maybe some ghosts only she sees. After five minutes, I left. I wonder if she noticed.

18/12/2025: Good morning, On November 30th, I visited your restaurant with my wife and ordered two smoothies. However, we noticed that the woman in charge of preparing them seemed visibly ill: she was barely able to speak, had a runny nose, and repeatedly touched her nose without gloves, then wiped her hands under her nose and handled the fruit. To avoid possible contamination, we decided to leave and interrupt the preparation, which had only just begun (they had only opened one pomegranate). A few days later, I returned to the restaurant and, after explaining what had happened, they refused to even refill the order.

13/11/2025: High prices, half a slice of pizza €2.50. The guys after me for two normal slices and a can of pizza cost €8.50. Pizza with plastic mozzarella, tasteless, but the dough was at least edible. Flies were hovering over the pizza slices. If the pizza were reasonably priced and made a little better, it would be the best. But for €2.50, even in the area, I get bigger, better slices.

01/12/2025: We visited Frenzio Restaurant for a 50th birthday party and couldn't have made a better choice. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with great kindness and professionalism, qualities we found throughout the entire staff throughout the evening. The option of a private room made the atmosphere even more special, allowing us to celebrate in complete tranquility and comfort. The culinary experience was simply excellent. We began with a truly delicious appetizer, prepared with fresh ingredients and meticulously crafted. This was followed by a second course of first courses that won us over: the creamy and fragrant mushroom risotto, and the flavorful and perfectly balanced macaroni with sausage ragù. The quality of the dishes was further confirmed by the mixed grill, cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. Each course was served with attention, and the chef's passion for cooking and his desire to offer guests a memorable experience were clearly evident. The welcoming and refined atmosphere also helped make lunch or dinner a truly enjoyable experience. All in all, Frenzio Restaurant gave us a wonderful experience, both gastronomically and personally. Excellent food, impeccable staff, perfect atmosphere: what more could you ask for? Highly recommended!

15/07/2025: Unfortunately I was only there for a few days, I would never have left, the food is excellent, typical local dishes, always fresh products but above all well cooked 👍 Roberto, Francesco and Federico run a great place making you feel immediately at ease, the great waitress Debora (without H) never leaves your glass empty😂 highly recommended also for the location, very close to many shops but above all to beautiful seaside resorts. I can't wait to return

20/10/2025: The bar and restaurant is a historic establishment on the island, family-run. The atmosphere is simple, a bit dated, as is the service. However, the dishes are exquisite: excellent, fresh fish, well-prepared, and the side dishes are also excellent. The wine list doesn't feature inexpensive items, aside from the house wine, but there are also exquisite island wines served by the glass, which allowed us to keep our spending down a bit. The prices are average: quite high, but, as we all know, fresh fish is expensive, and everything on the islands is inevitably more expensive.

18/10/2025: It's located near the main square in town. The restaurant is simple, and the indoor terrace is open during this time of year, while in the summer there's also an outdoor one. The cuisine, primarily seafood, is simple but carefully selected. The wine list is unique in offering island wines that aren't always easy to find. We tasted both glasses of rosé, with a touch of Aleatico, and the fragrant Vermentino. For starters, we had excellent maniche with octopus sauce, followed by the freshest grilled and Sicilian-style swordfish. The side dish of roasted peppers (peeled, well-seasoned, and delicious) was excellent. Lemon sorbet was served to finish. The service was impeccable, and the owners were very helpful, and we even had a friendly conversation after dinner. We were tempted by the super-fresh swordfish, but many told us the fried fish is also a real specialty: maybe next time. (Price, including glasses of wine, €120 for two). Recommended, see you next time.

18/10/2025: We were here yesterday at 2 p.m. with seven people, including three children. We had a reservation, which worked smoothly via WhatsApp. The place is absolutely fantastic. There's hardly a more beautiful, exclusive spot on Elba. We were here in 2023 during the summer during peak season and enjoyed the sunset. Amazing! The food was very good, but for €39, I would have celebrated more than paper plates and plastic cups. I don't know exactly what we ate, but it was very tasty. They could do a lot more marketing here. Tell us about the goat farming, the dishes, which cheeses are made from which milk, etc. Regardless, you're paying for the spot, not the food. We ate five times in five days on Elba. 4 times <€200, here >€200, and at that price, there's still plenty of room for improvement in terms of quality. And if only there were a little more attention to detail in the preparation and presentation of the food. It had a bit of a chip shop feel, unfortunately. But the staff was very nice. We would like to come again and hope that our suggestions are taken seriously and that things will change here.

13/10/2025: We would have loved to have dinner here in the evening and enjoyed the sunset. Unfortunately, that wasn't possible, as the temperatures were already quite chilly. So we opted for lunch and were not disappointed. All the appetizers made with local produce were delicious and deserve 10 stars from us! The main course could have been omitted; the pieces of meat were dry, grilled to death, and probably reheated from the day before. What a shame! We still enjoyed our time because the place is simply fantastic.

05/10/2025: Great place for an aperitif! Six of us went on a Friday evening in October and were greeted by friendly, competent staff who took our order and brought our drinks outside where we were comfortably seated on the sofas in the lovely square, surrounded by trees. The setting is beautiful, comfortable and classy. There's a good selection of drinks and you can help yourself to whatever you fancy from the buffet. At around € 6 per person for food and drink it's excellent value for money.Totally recommend!

28/12/2025: Photo: Udon with beef (A4) and bao (came 4 in the plate). Good, honest food—well seasoned, tasty, and served very hot (a big plus for me). We visited Livorno on December 26th, when most restaurants were closed for St. Stephen’s Day, so we ended up having lunch here as a last option. We really enjoyed the meal. I would definitely eat here again if I visit Livorno in the future. From the outside, the restaurant looks a bit shabby and not very tidy. However, the dining area is located in a side room, which was quite pretty and well kept. The toilet was not very clean. Service was good but not so smooth due to the language barrier (I don't speak italian).

29/10/2025: The campsite is okay. The sanitary facilities are a bit dated. Nice large pool. The music from the bar is a little loud. The clay pigeon shooting next door can be annoying.

26/08/2025: A truly positive experience The place doesn't have a sea view, but it's right on the sea, away from the crowds and noise. You don't see the sun set, but the moon rise. The pizza and schiacciatine are excellent, because the pizza chef has, I'd say, thirty years of experience!!! The owners are kind and professional, and the waitress is attentive and friendly. Highly recommended

The mojitos had spoiled mint and stale lemon. The drink tasted disappointing and was unpleasant. We addressed the issue with the bartender, but received only negative comments. Furthermore, the service was disgusting: the women were unfriendly and rude. I don't recommend this cafe. I usually don't write reviews, but this time I feel that everyone should know where they are going and not be misled by the good reviews of others.
