02/06/2026: I usually keep negative reviews to myself, but here it absolutely had to be done, the place was already rather neglected, there were 4 of us eating, the fish was absolutely not fresh, he said it was placed in front of me in full view, only frozen, oh well, the prawns were leaking green liquid... the caciucco was really poor quality and had a bitter taste, despite the fact that we left almost everything on our plates, and then spent the night in the bathroom... never again...

26/06/2026: Far from the overrated Fetovaia. Beautiful sea, well-stocked beach, lower-than-average prices, and super-friendly staff.
20/06/2026: The managers aren't very smart and don't pay much attention to their customers.
The shower traps need replacing, and everything is a bit rundown.
We have to constantly call the staff (to go to the bathroom, shower, parking lot, etc.) to get things done. We need to break out of our torpor.
If the Bolkestein law goes into effect, they'll end up under a bridge.

13/05/2026: We stopped here for a break on the GTE. A beautiful spot with a great view. The young woman who served us was very friendly and attentive. We had a selection of sausages and cheeses, and she explained each type. Everything tasted delicious, and the price was reasonable.
05/05/2026: Dinner was definitely overpriced considering the quality and quantity of food. The cheeses were good but the portions were meager, the vegetables were out of season, the grilled meats were cold, and the lasagna was cold. The vegetarian and meat menus were the same price (€39), despite the fact that the only alternative to cured meats and meat was a small piece of lasagna.
I would not recommend this place.

07/10/2025: We had classic sciacciatina and mushroom pizza for dinner. Both were simply deliciously crispy, yet still juicy and flavorful. Finally, a very good pizza in Livorno. The staff are all very friendly. The value for money is excellent, especially because the service meets the highest standards.
We sat outside at the tables on the street... simple, pleasant, and welcoming atmosphere.
Keep it up, guys! You're great.

07/06/2026: We stayed only one night before heading to Elba Island. A very nice complex, consisting of several buildings, including a swimming pool. Excellent location, close to the beach and resorts. Excellent breakfast and friendly, helpful staff. The rooms are a bit dated, but they have everything you need.
05/06/2026: Clean and well-maintained facility. Helpful and courteous staff. Varied sweet and savory breakfast.

04/10/2025: The artichoke pizza was so watery it could have been soup, the main server is not quite rude but not friendly either, you do wait for service a little even though its very small.
Other food was better, not amazing though.
18/09/2025: Very fine food in a warm atmosphere. The evening was a great pleasure. We'll go there again.

I felt like I was on a joke!!
Spaghetti with clams and two squid-stuffed meatballs and two sea bream-stuffed ones, with a lettuce leaf and a couple of tomato slices... I don't dare describe the sea bass/sea bream fillets... covered in pepper... let's forget about it...
I hope you're aware of what you're offering your customers...
Then... on a Monday night with three tables in total... I can't even find the excuse of chaos... the weekend...

01/07/2026: A truly welcoming place, a place where I ate really well and fell in love with both the owner for her beautiful charm and her professionalism, the food really good, and her colleagues, not to mention employees, were really friendly and beautiful as well, but that's just one aspect since I'm talking about the professionalism and the excellent raw materials. My regret was that I left without being able to say goodbye and eat one last time!
10/06/2026: Simply the best! We stopped by by chance for a quick seaside getaway and ended up eating at this place. The food and drink were superb, thanks to everyone!

13/11/2025: High prices, half a slice of pizza €2.50. The guys after me for two normal slices and a can of pizza cost €8.50.
Pizza with plastic mozzarella, tasteless, but the dough was at least edible.
Flies were hovering over the pizza slices.
If the pizza were reasonably priced and made a little better, it would be the best. But for €2.50, even in the area, I get bigger, better slices.
07/11/2025: Great, I work at the shop next door and sometimes I come here to eat some of their delicious treats.
Really good, fair prices, and excellent service.

27/06/2026: Terrible, it's a one-time mistake for those who don't know it; those who know avoid it. The food is pre-cooked, so the service is very fast. The bill doesn't match the quality of the food, not even a simple peppered mussels.

20/02/2026: We arrived at "La Frana" on the recommendation of our landlady. It was late and out of season, yet the lovely staff were quick to serve us excellent fresh fish, a perfect, dry and delicate fried calamari, and an excellent house tagliolini. The beef and potatoes were also carefully prepared. We had a great time, comfortable, and left satisfied even after seeing and paying the bill. Seeing is believing. 🥂

As for the food, the fried octopus is a blast, and the crostoni with provola cheese and anchovies are equally delicious.
