22/08/2024: A very pleasant refreshing stop in Certaldo: it is worth coming down from Certaldo Alto to taste this delicacy! Courtesy of the owner, wide choice of ice creams even without milk! Advised!!!!

17/11/2024: Concentrated menu with attention to detail and the seasonality of the products. The proposal is refined and different from the classic Tuscan menu. Very nice and accommodating host, warm environment. honest price. we will be back!

05/11/2024: Impeccable! It was 9.30pm, the kitchen was about to close, but the owner welcomed us anyway. Small and essential environment, very nice owner... it's impossible that it doesn't make you smile at least! Fast and attentive, he goes back and forth alone between the kitchen, the dining room and the cash register... congratulations. Excellent quality and honest prices... one of the best restaurants I've ever tried! Crazy tastes. I'm really happy to have tasted my first Florentine steak here! It's really worth it! We also tried the pumpkin, stracciatella and truffle flan; the gnocchi stuffed with pear with gorgonzola fondue and crunchy raw ham... wow! Too bad we were too full for desserts... we'll have to go back 🥰

12/12/2024: I ate divinely. Extraordinary tartare, sublime Brunello fillet. It's my first review ever, but I couldn't help but highlight the truly excellent quality of the food. Congratulations and I really recommend trying it to anyone who wants to enjoy eating!

09/12/2024: We went to this restaurant on the recommendation of friends and I must say that we were positively impressed. Excellent quality raw materials, preparations according to tradition. We had Certaldo onion soup (excellent), chestnut flour tagliatelle with cheese and truffle fondue, gnudi with parmesan cream, Florentine tripe and Chianti tuna (it's pork and the tuna has nothing to do with it) and for dessert the cantucci in various flavours. Overall, everything was really good. The innkeeper is a very kind gentleman who clearly loves his job. Highly recommended. We will definitely be back

08/12/2024: Osteria on the main street 1 minute from Palazzo Pretorio. Family atmosphere with excellent pici (with garlic or white ragu). The wine list is extensive. The desserts are also good (the cantuccini cheesecake is delicious) Highly recommended.

30/08/2024: Beautiful experience, the pond is very pretty but above all there is exquisite helpfulness and kindness. Excellent dishes all homemade and with love... you can feel it!

28/10/2024: We chose the Cavour 2020, excellent! They have classic pizzas, revisited ones, ciaccini; the pizzas are thin, the tomato is fragrant and not acidic, well filled. The restaurant has few seats inside, but has an outdoor area with other tables. They are also equipped for takeaway. We will be back!

05/11/2024: Sono tornato alla botteghina dopo tanto tempo...ci venivo spesso con i miei genitori fino a che sono stati in grado di uscire...Un po' mi turba tornare nei posti dove sono stato con i miei ... Però ho fatto molto bene....ho preso il piattone di antipasti eppoi il maialino al forno con patate....spettacolari come anche il costo contenuto. grazie

21/08/2024: For me, the best pizza ever... The less greasy "pala" pizza is preferable to the round one made in a pan. You can also ask to make it in two flavours, and mine are: white ham and mushrooms and ortolana without mozzarella...Sweet pizza with strawberries or apples, my favourites!!! 😋😋😋 The only drawback: it takes months (I'm not joking!) to secure a table 😥

The accommodation was completely renovated a few years ago. Everything is very clean and up to date! Thanks! We'll definitely be back!

27/07/2024: Our stay at La collina degli Olivi was simply unforgettable! Patricia and Toni are outstanding hosts - they were extremely accommodating, friendly, helpful and loving. The rooms are newly renovated and offer incredible views. The service was excellent in every way. We felt completely comfortable and welcome. We can only warmly recommend this wonderful experience. 01/08/2024: We've been here way too many times during our holiday. The ice cream is super delicious! Highly recommended. We think it is the best ice cream in Tuscany.

10/12/2024: Once again, we returned to Ristorante Il Castello and once again we were served a delicious meal. The waiter was gracious, attentive and patient while we visited with friends over lunch.

02/12/2024: We had dinner in this restaurant at the end of November, beautiful atmosphere, excellent food and beautiful place. At this time the garden is closed, but you can imagine how beautiful it must be in summer with the outdoor tables.

24/08/2024: Pizzeria discovered through the advice of a friend. I can say out loud that it is the best Pizzeria in the Baia Domizia area. The pizza is excellent, the ingredients are of quality. For those who have high expectations when eating a pizza, this place does not disappoint at all, on the contrary...! We've been there three times already and will be back this weekend. The place is gorgeous, spacious rooms, fantastic terrace and garden. Polite and helpful staff. Fairly fast service. Maybe with an extra oven for pizzas, waiting times would improve even more. Overall however, nothing to say!

20/08/2024: Nice place too and well furnished, they let us sit in the garden even if it isn't a real garden. Access to the room was a little inconvenient especially for us who had a stroller. Good fried foods, dry and crunchy, good pizzas with particular praise for the fried and baked margherita. Prices in the current average and in my opinion honest account.

15/08/2024: Ottima pizzeria, atteso un po' per il tavolo ma non avevamo prenotato e tutto sommato l' attesa non è stata lunga. Pizze ottime impasto morbido e non bruciacchiato ai bordi. Ordinato una pizza vecchi ricordi con pomodoro, fiordilatte e basilico ed una ortolana con rucola, burrata, verdure di stagione e pomodorini gialli, unico appunto i pomodorini erano al naturale e non confit come indicato a menù.

13/08/2024: The salmon carpaccio listed among the dishes of the day becomes a smoked salmon dish that has nothing to do with the fish carpaccio, nor with the menu of the day which usually offers fresh dishes. When pointed out to the waiters, they are not offered to replace it with something else nor is a discount offered at the end of the dinner to mitigate the inconvenience.
