01/05/2025: We came on a day trip to Tuscany to visit Certaldo, and decided to eat at this restaurant. Extremely friendly staff, we ate a selection of Tuscan cheeses and cured meats, very good and the onion soup and ribollita were also fantastic, the ricotta and pear cheesecake was wonderful, absolutely worth trying, not least the really wide selection of wines

20/05/2025: Excellent Tuscan food and fine wines (especially Chianti, of course). Many regional specialties, including fresh truffles. Excellent and friendly service (in English upon request) explains the menu in a friendly manner, ensuring the best pairings without any hint of arrogance. A fitting highlight for a visit or vacation in the region!

17/05/2025: Stavamo cercando da un po’ di giorni un’osteria in zona Chianti che potesse racchiudere buon cibo ed atmosfera e devo dire che la cena ha rispecchiato appieno la ricerca. Buon cibo con piatti tipici e produzioni artigianali ma quello che da uno sprint in più è stato tutto lo staff. Sempre simpatici, disponibili rendendo la serata divertente e conviviale.

06/05/2025: Perfect local restaurant right in the historic center. We had primo with wine and couldn't resist dessert with coffee and finally a grappa tasting. Everything excellent. Caffé di Robyn is the most amazing dessert in the world - chocolate, pistachio cookie pieces and coffee foam. If it's still available, definitely try it!

20/05/2025: A hard-to-find pizzeria that stands out for its specialty pizza and also offers a sweet pizza for dessert. Very reasonable prices (from €5!). Very friendly service, even if only a few words of English are spoken. Our pizza and antipasti were very fresh and delicious. However, the pizza sizes are different than the title suggests (a medium pizza gigante is frozen pizza-sized, but only costs €5). Tourists aren't the primary target: We only found the pizzeria on our fourth attempt, as there are no signs pointing to it from the street. You just have to find the right entrance, but the search is worth it. Even in the off-season, it's packed with locals: This is truly Italian!

12/04/2025: We were incredibly lucky and had good timing that we spontaneously got a place here twice. Otherwise I would recommend making a reservation. Very friendly staff and delicious pizzas! All at a very good price.

22/05/2025: We stopped by chance while visiting the town. The service was excellent, the staff was super friendly and helpful. The pici all’aglione and the pici “casa tua” were spectacular, an explosion of flavor that took me back to my childhood. Very characteristic place. Perfect for those looking for an authentic experience! Highly recommended. If we come back here we will definitely stop again!

09/05/2025: Super beautifully located pizzeria with delicious food and very good service! There are also many gluten-free alternatives, pizza and pasta. Unfortunately only 4 stars because the gluten-free dough of the pizzas is reminiscent of ready-made dough and therefore does not justify the additional charge of €5.

05/05/2025: We spent 4 unforgettable nights at Agriturismo La Collina degli Olivi, and it was simply perfect in every way. Patricia and Tony are the most wonderful hosts you can imagine. They welcomed us with such warmth and kindness, and made us feel truly at home from the very first moment. They were incredibly helpful throughout our stay and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. And the breakfasts – wow! Every morning was a delight, with homemade treats, local specialties, and the kind of care you only get from people who genuinely love what they do. The place itself is absolutely stunning – nestled in the Tuscan hills, surrounded by olive trees, with breathtaking panoramic views. The peace and tranquility that envelop this place exceeded all our expectations. It’s the perfect escape from the noise and rush of everyday life. We can’t recommend La Collina degli Olivi enough. If you're looking for an authentic, peaceful, and truly heartwarming experience in Tuscany, this is it. Thank you for everything!
