22/05/2026: Today I ate 1 panini (normal bar size) + 1 medium beer + 1.50 cover charge = €17.50....never again. In Florence Antico Vinaio makes triple panini for €8....shameful. AVOID

Absolutely loved the atmosphere, the service, and the food.
A good value for money.
The ingredients were spot on. Plus, there's a shop next door where you can buy various very tempting local products.
We were expecting an old-fashioned trattoria, and we found it!
Good value for money.
I'd go back and recommend it.

10/08/2026: We ate very well for four of us—two adults and two children aged 14-10: excellent quality, generous portions, and truly thoughtful dishes. The service was kind and attentive, everything ran smoothly, and the atmosphere was pleasant. Overall, a truly positive experience: everything was fine!
The price was a bit steep at €150. One appetizer for everyone, one dish each, two first courses, and two second courses.
The only flaw we noticed was that the place is a bit too noisy. If they could install soundproofing panels, it would be even more ideal for everyone, improving comfort and allowing for easier conversation.

17/08/2026: For 20 minutes, no one came over to even offer us a glass of water. I had to ask for it, and after that, everything arrived very quickly and was of good quality. Overall, the waiters could definitely pay more attention to their guests.
10/08/2026: The food is good, the service is fast, and the prices are in line with the area. I expected it to be lakeside. We had an appetizer, two pizzas, and two first courses, all very good. The fish looked excellent, too. It was a bit warm, and even though we'd asked for a spot on the veranda when we booked, they put us inside, but overall we had a good time.

09/08/2026: Reading the excellent reviews, our expectations were really high. The restaurant's location was excellent. Right off the A1 motorway at Barberino del Mugello, it's a restaurant that certainly does a lot of traffic. The staff were very friendly, but we felt they were fake-friendly. We heard the waiter who served us complain after serving other tables. We ordered pici and an appetizer, and after 2 minutes they brought everything to us. For the type of first course, I'd say the pici were a bit too quick (precooked pici!?). The tagliata was passable, a little tough, but it arrived lukewarm.
Of course, this is just our personal impression, otherwise it wouldn't have all the super-positive reviews.
