06/04/2024: Our first time here was in 2021 and we ordered the black truffle pasta. Then, it was the best black truffle pasta we ever had. We left Italy and every now and then I’d think about that pasta. 3 years later we returned to Firenze and I wondered if we over exaggerated in our mind how good it was and whether I’d be disappointed. FEAR NOT!! Although 4 more euro than in 2021 it was equally as memorable and delicious. Better than the truffle pasta at L’Antica in como that’s all over IG. aside from the black truffle pasta, everything else is quite good. Good quality, enjoyable atmosphere. Good service.
06/04/2024: Good restaurant, good Italian cuisine and good service with a but for the lady who receives the clients, quite dry to face the client, when you enter a place that seems to bother you…. Bad! Thank goodness the Metre and waiters were more friendly!

However, as a cafe, very poor. The staff were extremely rude and barked at us when we tried to order 20 minutes after being seated. No plesentaries when they did come back to take our order and the coffee and pastries were sub par.

03/04/2024: Trattoria the desert ....... and very familiar it feels like being at home ..... the food is good ...... the price is also average to go back ......... The young and friendly staff to book if you want to go I also recommend bedrooms the manager is very friendly and professional

04/04/2024: A spectacular porchetta squash, served by a very friendly guy. Very rich and varied menu. Location with every detail not left to chance: flavor of authenticity not only in the food. Adequate prices...and at the end an excellent coffee!

06/04/2024: Delicious hot sandwich, crunchy and soft inside. Fresh and tasty cured meats and various ingredients. Despite the abundance of the sandwich, it remains light. Great price. Kind and courteous. I highly recommend it.

07/04/2024: Very Touristic. Below average bisteca, tasteless sides and slow service. It is better to avoid this place and try real Tuscan food elsewhere.
06/04/2024: Food was generally excellent. Service average. Atmosphere left a lot to be desired. We reserved in advance, like everyone else, and seating was pre done with names on table. The front section has tables between the wait staff area, bathroom and desk where the host sits answering the phone. For ~ 100 euro per person I wouldn't sit in that area. I'll be back in Florence soon but don't think I'd go back here unless I could guarantee not being stuck in the cheap seats (virtually all foreigners, mostly Asians, relegated to this area)
Based on atmosphere and service I'd say it's a bit over rated.

05/04/2024: The food here is molto buono. I’ve gone back several times since staying in the Oltrarno area. There is always a line to get in, so get there before it opens. With reduced size plates available I can handle a secondi when I’m solo. Mangia! 😋🐙🍷🍝

Outside eco-shredder for PET bottles and used oil storage.

07/05/2024: I have spent a wonderful 4 months in Italy and this was my last night abroad and by far my worst dinner. The food was good, not great, but the service was horrendous. My mom and I were ignored constantly, I was mocked by our waiter when I had to ask for something twice, every request was met with a clipped response or, at best, a horribly fake smile, and the gentlemen next to us seemingly received great service while we were completely ignored. It was an infuriating experience overall. I am disappointed that this was my last dinner in Italy. There are so many other amazing restaurants to go to and support, skip this one.
