06/04/2024: Our first time here was in 2021 and we ordered the black truffle pasta. Then, it was the best black truffle pasta we ever had. We left Italy and every now and then I’d think about that pasta. 3 years later we returned to Firenze and I wondered if we over exaggerated in our mind how good it was and whether I’d be disappointed. FEAR NOT!! Although 4 more euro than in 2021 it was equally as memorable and delicious. Better than the truffle pasta at L’Antica in como that’s all over IG. aside from the black truffle pasta, everything else is quite good. Good quality, enjoyable atmosphere. Good service.

06/04/2024: Good restaurant, good Italian cuisine and good service with a but for the lady who receives the clients, quite dry to face the client, when you enter a place that seems to bother you…. Bad! Thank goodness the Metre and waiters were more friendly!

07/04/2024: The restaurant looks great and is very nicely decorated. The waiters were very nice and polite. However, I found the quality of the service to be below average. Although we ordered a relatively expensive Brunello wine, it wasn’t decanted, and none of the waiters refilled our glasses. Our table didn’t have salt, pepper, and olive oil and we were looking for the waiter for at least 5 mins to ask for it. Our plates were taken away while we were still finishing our appetizers, and the next course arrived 10 minutes later. I wouldn’t have written this review if the steak we ordered had been good. The meat was not tender and was quite chewy. I wouldn’t revisit.

04/04/2024: I was there for a quick lunch with a child. The food was okay, but served sparingly and overpriced, and we didn't feel satisfied. I asked the waitress if the bread was complimentary. She said YES, of course, and then had the audacity to charge an extra 7 euros for bread and service. I tried to ask her something after we had ordered, but then I was no longer of interest because we weren't "big spenders. "When I inquired about the extra 7 euros, she became angry and said that's how it's done everywhere, pointing at the tablecloth and napkin, emphasizing the word "service." I tried to politely explain to her that I want to be able to choose how much I want to tip, and that 33% of the bill is way too much. It should have cost 20 euros but ended up being 27. I understand it might be reasonable for a larger group who ordered more, but for two people and a small lunch... no way. Everyone can have bad days at work, but only people with a service mindset should work in service professions.I do not recommend this place, and don't be fooled by the nice view.

07/04/2024: The right place in Florence to taste the dishes of traditional Tuscan home cooking that has not been revisited. On top of everything, an excellent 1.5kg scottona rib steak, fairly priced. The fried artichokes, fried courgettes and fried courgette flowers are good. A good choice of local Tuscan wines with honest markups. To finish, a homemade zuccotto and cantucci and vin santo. Courteous and professional service. We will return

06/04/2024: Visit after reservation. All staff are friendly. The wine was recommended very thoroughly, and the starter, octopus dish, and truffle pasta were all really delicious.

05/04/2024: Thankfully we made reservations and were seated in no time. The truffle pasta was amazing but we did not enjoy the lasagne as much. The appetizers, Prosecco and limoncello offered were good too!

04/04/2024: The ambience of the restaurant is very nice inside and out. The staff also very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, I have to say that I don't think the quality of the food is justified for the price. Our gnocchi were very not very tasty. It simply lacked the finesse that I would have expected based on the other good reviews. The dessert was solid, but I've had better here too. A pity!

06/04/2024: Welcoming place, knowledgeable, sweet and helpful staff, excellent dishes from every point of view, red wine a spectacle... An unforgettable dinner to be repeated as soon as it is possible to return to Florence. A few steps from the station, it is also in a strategic position for those who, like us, love to do "hit and run" in this city.
