28/07/2026: We're in Val Gardena, specifically Ortisei, a true gem nestled in the valley's mountains. The Resciesa funicular is well-organized and easily accessible, either on foot by walking around Ortisei or by taking the escalators, not all of which are in working order, from the center. The only downside is the price increase. €34.00 return for adults, €25.00 return for children over 6 and under 13. Are you planning a family of 4 or 5?! However, the funicular is clean and tidy. The quality-price ratio is good. Val Gardena is full of family hotels; a family-friendly pricing policy is needed. The view with Ortisei and the Alpe di Siusi in the background is breathtaking. 4 stars for the setting; Val Gardena is wonderful!!

16/02/2026: We returned after about two years and couldn't help but appreciate once again the hospitality and the mastery in preparing the dishes created with passion by the whole family, especially thanks to Philip, who delighted us with his fantastic Speck. This time we even stayed for two nights and also appreciated the clean, new, and welcoming rooms. We were looking for a restaurant to have dinner for my birthday, and after searching online, my wife was drawn to this agriturismo. It was an excellent choice; as soon as we entered, we were greeted by friendly staff in a welcoming atmosphere. They produce everything themselves, and the dishes are exceptional, an appetizer of cured meats and cheeses with truly well-made Speck and Pancetta. The wine was also very good; we chose the house red, the full-bodied one. We're not big wine drinkers, but it was so good we bought 3 liters to take home. I'm very sensitive to sulfites in wine, which usually give me a headache the next day. This time, however, I woke up without a headache. Verena, who served us, was friendly and professional. We'll definitely be back.

28/07/2026: Nice place, easily accessible with ample parking. Very spacious interior. Cooking smell in the dining room: could be improved. The chanterelle ravioli are good, although they should warn you about the garlic for those with allergies or intolerances. The onion entrecote is very good. The wines, from the St. Paul winery, are fantastic.

14/05/2026: The welcome was incredibly friendly, even warm. We had made a reservation. We were quickly shown to our table and shortly afterward were able to order our drinks. After perusing the menus, we opted for Kaspressknödel (cheese dumplings) and Herrengröstl (a traditional potato and meat dish). Everything was delicious. However, we did notice that the dumplings could have benefited from a little more sauce. For dessert, we had Strauben and "Hot Love" (a type of fried pastry). Strauben is a deep-fried pastry. Absolutely delicious, definitely worth trying! All in all, a very nice restaurant with excellent service and incredibly tasty food. Thank you so much, and we'd be happy to recommend you.

10/05/2026: As locals, we're big fans of this restaurant. Saskia's is a family business run by a mother, daughter, and son, and it's very well and warmly managed. The restaurant is refreshingly free of any unnecessary touristy frills that only serve to inflate prices. The food has been consistently excellent for years, and they offer not only pizza but also a wide selection of other dishes. The tiramisu is legendary, and I highly recommend it to everyone. We love Saskia's.

26/07/2026: Everything was fantastic and perfect! It was a wonderful experience, the service was impeccable, and the food was amazing. Yesterday I tried a sandwich called Nerano, and it was truly delicious, but there's so much more, all delicious. Go there! Trust me!

29/06/2026: A guesthouse in a dream location The journey is via a winding road that climbs high into the mountain. This drive is rewarded with warm hospitality, excellent cuisine, and breathtaking panoramic views. Excellent value for money. There's also a terrace. Guests have access to a pool and a large sunbathing lawn. Dogs are welcome. Highly recommended!
