20/04/2025: I returned on Easter day (after many years) to this restaurant in the Borgo Pio area (Vatican) which decades ago was a "competitor" of the famous brewery in via della Croce, Piazza di Spagna-via del Babuino area (i.e. the "Viennese brewery" existing in Rome since the 1930s with typical furnishings and deer heads hanging on the wooden walls and then changed management and ... miserably failed in a few years). From what I know, it remains (along with another restaurant nearby) the only historic "Tyrolean" alternative to Rome. We ate 3 rich appetizers of mixed cold cuts and cheeses, two dishes with sausages of various types with potatoes (unfortunately fried and not boiled and flavoured) and sauerkraut and a pork fillet with red cabbage, 1 beer, 1 Cola 1 Sprite, sparkling water, 3 coffees (without dessert) for around 120 euros for 3 people. Attentive service, typical restaurant. I would SAY that 40 EUROS each is an acceptable amount for what is offered.

12/04/2025: Suggestive and particular place. We took cheese fondue and glutton grill (self-service grilled meat). For a place specializing in fondue, it keeps expectations high with tasty and delicious dishes. The bill was also a surprise although slightly high for the product itself but being in Rome and one of the few to offer this specialty it is more than justified. However we spent less than the total we expected.

02/03/2025: We were looking for a restaurant to have dinner for my birthday and, searching online, my wife was attracted to this farmhouse. A choice that turned out to be excellent as soon as we entered we were greeted by friendly staff in a welcoming environment. They produce everything themselves and the dishes are exceptional, a starter of cured meats and cheeses with really well-made speck and bacon. The wine was also very good, we took the house red, the fuller one, we are not big wine drinkers but it was so good that we bought 3 liters to take home. I am very sensitive to the sulphites present in wine which normally give me a headache the next day, but this time I woke up without a headache. Nice and professional Verena who served us, we will certainly return.

20/04/2025: We visited the Weber family for the second time - and it was just lovely again! We found the small inn by chance last year as we were looking for accommodation near the golf course, and we were already thrilled at the time. And again we weren't disappointed! Everyone is incredibly friendly and welcoming, the rooms are modern and comfortable, and the food is delicious. For breakfast there is a small buffet with regional delicacies, fresh eggs and (very important for us) good coffee. A 5-course evening menu is included in half board. We'll definitely be back! Thank you for everything, dear Ms. Weber! :-)

16/03/2025: Avendo sentito da tanti conoscenti parlare del posto, abbiamo prenotato per la colazione. Il locale è carino, anche se la domenica dopo la messa c’è parecchio rumore al bar, e nella sala si sente tutto. Il buffet è limitato, poca scelta di pane e dolci, come pure dei formaggi. Per €29,00 ci si aspetta di più. Non tornerei. Molto gentile e attenta la signora in sala.

10/02/2025: My partner and I spent a wonderful long weekend. Past excellent ratings have proven true. Clean and spacious apartment. Excellent products in the hotel bar/shop and present at breakfast time. But the thing that really leaves its mark is the kindness of the staff, available to give advice and to help the customer, if possible. Thank you very much and if possible see you soon.

30/04/2025: Ho soggiornato una notte in suite . Spettacolare. Nulla da dire. Personale gentile e disponibile e pulizia impeccabile. La grande delusione sono state la cena (avevamo la mezza pensione) e la colazione. Buffet verdure imbarazzante . Pomodoro mozzarella come antipasto e valdostana con patatine ( che poi era una fettina impanata con una fetta formaggio fuso sopra) come piatto principale, in un ristorante che ha un menu alla carte di tutto rispetto è inconcepibile. Ritengo che in sede di prenotazione sarebbe opportuno chiarire in cosa "consiste" la mezza pensione .Credo sia il rifugio dove ho mangiato peggio in assoluto.

15/04/2025: Extremely well trained and courteous staff, the owner is a very cultured and helpful person for the customer. High level raw materials and above average quality. There Beer to be amazed at. Definitely worth trying again.

10/03/2025: Ho mangiato ottimamente in questo locale, in cui non solo il cibo è caratteristico, ma anche gli arredi e il personale in abiti tipici. Consiglierei in particolare il tris di primi e lo stinco. Squisito pure lo strudel e un particolare dessert al pino mugo. Certo, che prezzi! Ma purtroppo la stessa nota dolente si ritrova in tutti i locali della zona.

13/04/2025: Simple environment but it was a pleasant surprise. The pancakes at the end of the meal are excellent. I highly recommend the paccheri with calamari and pistachio: fabulous!

12/04/2025: Reading the reviews we went to this restaurant. Ordered and the food arrived cold (pasta dishes), overcooked and without seasoning. Too bad, the staff were super friendly! We pointed out that "not everything went well" at the end of dinner. €1 discount on the total... we certainly won't go back

20/03/2025: Wow! Excellent service. I’m a vegan, and every night they specifically created a special 4 course meal just for me! Service excellent. Nothing was ever a problem. Never waited more than 5 mins for the shuttle bus. They truly go above and beyond. Excellent views and so conveniently located to everything you can need. It’s the best hotel in the area for sure!

13/02/2025: The hotel has a very nice hotel bar, there was even live music that evening, which contributed to a relaxed atmosphere. Unfortunately there were few guests on site that evening. The cocktail 🍸 prices are appropriate for the high-quality location.
