21/10/2025: We stayed here as the first stop on our honeymoon and it was truly magical. Since we went in October, the town and hotel too was very quiet, as it's in between the summer and winter seasons. The food was fantastic - the half board option is well worth it. It is only about a 10 minute drive from Ortisei and the Alpe di Suisi gondola. There are also a ton of daily activities offered by the hotel. The spa was fantastic as well, and the prices were far better than what we were used to in the US. Only thing was that it books up quite quickly, so be sure to reserve ahead of time. The pool, saunas and gym were also a highlight. Overall, the staff were absolutely incredible and so welcoming. HIGHLY recommend staying here - we will be back!!

27/09/2025: The food was very good and generous. The room was very nice and modern, no much space but comfortable. The views were amazing (room and terrace). The only downside was that the mattress and pillows were very hard for our liking. They were very welcome of our dog, who was also allowed everywhere in the hut.

12/11/2025: A spectacular sight; the landscape is beautiful, the combination of the Dolomites and the little houses with their wooden roofs and full of flowers is very beautiful.

26/10/2025: The cable car ride itself is a small adventure – especially if you sit right at the front and dare to gaze down into the depths. If you're not afraid of heights, you'll love the view even during the ride! The prices, however, are less pleasant: For an adult and a seven-year-old child, you pay a hefty €56. The lady at the ticket office could have been a bit friendlier too – she apparently didn't think it was appropriate for us to sit down on the bench before buying our tickets. After the steep hike from the parking garage (it's really quite uphill!), we just needed a moment to catch our breath. Once at the top, however, the slight annoyance is quickly forgotten. The view is simply breathtaking – mountains as far as the eye can see, and a feeling of freedom that is hard to describe. An absolute highlight! If you like, you should definitely plan the leisurely walk to the summit cross. At around 1.5 hours (if you take it easy), the trail is easily manageable and leads through beautiful alpine scenery. Just before the summit cross, the rustic Raschötz Alpine Hut awaits hungry hikers, and right at the mountain station, you can also stop for a bite to eat and round off the day. We were there at the end of August.

16/11/2025: A place in perfect German style. Very kind and professional staff. Typical Teutonic dishes, well prepared and very tasty. Limited selection of drinks. Prices a little above average. Overall, I can say I spent a pleasant evening in this little corner of Germany.

12/11/2025: This is one of my favourite restaurants in the area. The staff are always very welcoming and helpful, explaining the menu and specials. The food has always been exceptional and especially suited to the winter season, when you just need a good-old hearty comforting dish, full of flavour. The pretzels are tasty and fresh too. My personal favourite dish is probably the Tiroler Gröstl, which is potatoes, pork, speck and egg in lovely juices, although I haven’t tried the entire German yet…I’ll be back!

08/10/2025: We stopped by spontaneously on a hike and were greeted very warmly on the sunny terrace. Very good/excellent service, a very nice and varied menu. What came to our table was absolutely delicious. The location with the fantastic view is the icing on the cake. What we saw of the hotel makes us want more; we will definitely be back, probably as hotel guests next fall.

05/10/2025: The menu is very small; it's not published on their website. It has many dishes with entrails. At night, the road to the restaurant is very dangerous because it's very small and unlit.

03/10/2025: We spent a wonderful evening at the Umser Mühlele. The ambiance is truly wonderful, and the service was super friendly. We had three courses, and everything was excellently prepared and presented. The quality is evident in every dish. We felt completely at home and will definitely be back. Card payments are no problem.

04/12/2025: When looking for a restaurant, I also make sure it's not in the middle of the crowds, and this one, isolated in the middle of the Friuli plain, is ideal. What's more, the food is good, with some traditional Bavarian dishes, thanks to the kind owner, who is of German origin. As soon as I return to this area, I'll happily stop by again.

15/11/2025: Beautiful location surrounded by greenery, clean and welcoming. The staff were friendly and helpful, but unfortunately the food didn't meet our expectations. The pork tenderloin was more of a meatloaf, and the venison could be improved. The red wine, unfortunately, was awful. We paid a little too much for the quality of the food. We'll try again.
