27/08/2025: The most delicious Kaiserschmarrn ever! Non-alcoholic wheat beer from Weinstephan and delicious apple spritzer with cloudy apple juice. The cappuccino was also delicious. The service was excellent, and the location, of course, is sensational for outdoor seating. But be careful, they only accept cash payments!

29/08/2025: The organization and the structure are organized to spend an evening, it's wonderful. We ate there on three occasions, it was awful and expensive. If I go just to drink and have a nice evening, I add that I compliment those who make the bread, it's delicious, it's found as soon as you enter on the right, it's really good.

25/08/2025: We returned after a few years to attend the festival and eat some traditional food... and above all, drink a good beer. The party remained the same, well-organized, the people wandering around the tables were dressed in themed costumes, and it almost felt like we were in Munich... if it weren't for the Italian. The only thing I didn't like was that, like other times, I wanted to take home the liter jug ​​as a souvenir, and instead of paying €2 each, they charged me €1 per person... which wasn't fair, especially since we can't share the jug. Otherwise, it's worth a visit.

14/09/2025: The restaurant is surrounded by greenery, in a quiet area accessible almost exclusively by those traveling there. There is a dirt parking lot reserved for customers. The exterior, while charming for its ancient structure, is somewhat neglected, but the initial impression is rustic, in true Bavarian style. At the entrance, a wall with niches containing personal mugs is striking: the manager explained to us that they belong to the most loyal customers. A curious and characteristic detail. The interior is spartan, with uncomfortable chairs and somewhat small tables, but these aspects are quickly forgotten when the food arrives: the Bavarian cuisine is truly excellent. We tried several dishes, and the pork shank with potatoes was memorable. The strudel to finish was also delicious. The prices aren't among the lowest, but the quality justifies the expense. The service is courteous and attentive, and the wait times are well-balanced. Reservations are recommended, especially on weekends. A place to try if you love Bavarian cuisine in a rustic and timeless setting.

04/09/2025: While riding a motorcycle with friends, we stumbled upon this charming restaurant, nestled in a scenic spot surrounded by lush greenery. We sat on the terrace for a simple beer, but were captivated by the menu and ended up enjoying some excellent and hearty Teutonic dishes, accompanied by the friendly staff.

10/09/2025: Mattresses were far too hard, beds were very cramped. Truly not a great sleeping experience. Rooms were otherwise modern and clean. The staff could improve their friendliness. The food was really delicious, though. Despite the great location and food, I wouldn't stay there again or eat there again.

09/09/2025: We had lunch at Friedrich August on July 27th and the experience was truly perfect. The view is breathtaking, a unique setting that alone is worth the visit. The food is excellent, with meticulous attention to presentation and original pairings. Service is super fast, and the staff is friendly and attentive. Everything is clean and well-organized. I absolutely recommend this place!

The rustic, cozy farmhouse parlor invites you to linger while you indulge in delicious delicacies. For starters, we had a wonderful barley soup – hearty, aromatic, and cooked with love 👩🏻‍🍳 For the main course, my husband had a hearty meat platter with soured beef, house sausage, roasted ribs, sauerkraut, and potato leaves 🥩 I enjoyed Schlutzkrapfen (shrimp noodles), spinach dumplings, and cheese gnocchi with butter and Parmesan 👌🏻 Both are a dream for all lovers of South Tyrolean cuisine! Accompanied by a glass of the house's own Vernatsch (Swiss Vernatsch) 🍷 delicious! If you appreciate rustic coziness, warm hospitality and homemade specialties, you've come to the right place 🫶🏻

16/09/2025: The Granbaita has become my new go-to: a complete property in every way, capable of standing out even from many of the 4- and 5-star hotels I regularly frequent. The staff deserves special mention: professional, friendly, and always available. The receptionists, in particular, welcome guests with a genuine smile and are attentive to every request. The restaurant is one of the hotel's strong points: the quality of the ingredients, the variety of the offerings, and the carefully curated buffets—both for breakfast and dinner—are of the highest standard. Every meal becomes an experience of taste and refinement. My suite was impeccable: modern, perfectly clean, soundproofed, and finished with quality materials. The extremely comfortable bed ensured a superior night's sleep, an aspect I consider essential. The internal garage with valet parking and luggage storage is also very convenient. Also interesting is the blackboard at the entrance that clearly lists the daily activities available to guests. The spa is simply extraordinary: well-maintained, always clean spaces, numerous saunas, a well-equipped gym, personalized massage options, and, above all, a large heated pool that makes for a truly unforgettable relaxation experience. Our stay at Granbaita was, in a word, perfect. We will undoubtedly return, confident of experiencing the same level of excellence.

01/09/2025: We had the pleasure of staying at this warm and welcoming hotel. The rooms are in Trentino style and are immaculately clean. The breakfast was generous, featuring quality local produce. It's a shame we didn't try the restaurant, but we'll try it another time. Highly recommended.

02/09/2025: Aside from the giant pretzel, the bakery is overrated. The strudel lacks pine nuts, raisins, and cinnamon. The sweet pretzel is meaningless, its pastry soft and not caramelized... Savory croissants are anonymous... Rude staff (it seems like a trend).

24/08/2025: Excellent service, delicious baked goods, and the Sachertorte is equally delicious. We were slightly disappointed with the strudel, which seemed a bit subdued compared to everything else. Still, highly recommended if you're looking to try some local specialties!
