11/09/2025: The perfect spot for an aperitif with a view of the Piana della Ghirlanda and the Montagna Grande. After enjoying the crostini and passito, we also purchased some of their specialties, including the delicious cream of onion.

17/07/2025: I may be going against the grain, but paying 30 euros per person for a few crostini and three wine tastings seems crazy to me. I'd gladly pay even more, if there was a reason... But how can you do that? You can fool someone once, but not twice!

30/09/2025: Kudos to the entire staff, and to Davide for his hospitality and kindness. The food was truly exceptional, and not to mention the wine list, which is truly excellent. The place is beautiful and very clean. I'll definitely come back to visit you when I return to Pantelleria.

02/10/2025: Old hotel with minimal rooms and dated furnishings. Excellent location in the restricted traffic zone. The lady who runs it is courteous and attentive. Be careful about staying in the restaurant for dinner; prices are far too high for the portions.

14/09/2025: It seems to me that many of the reviews are derogatory. Or they refer to before the renovations, which took place around 2023 or 2024. What is certain is that the Hotel Moderno is now highly recommended. The rooms and bathrooms are furnished to a four-star standard. The restaurant has an enchanting view, both day and night; the menu is basic, but chef Baldo executes it very well. The wine and spirits list is basic but well-chosen, and we found the bulk white wine to be very respectable. The staff is friendly but discreet, the lobby is cozy and welcoming, and the background music is relaxing. Anyone who writes that parking in Erice is difficult and expensive either misunderstands or is not acting in good faith; for €12, you can park for a week in various parking lots. Erice is a medieval village, offering superb views, a pleasant climate, a relaxing atmosphere, and traditional cuisine and pastry shops that offer good value.

09/08/2025: Un locale stupendo che offre grandi sapori della cucina tradizionale siciliana e grandi profumi per la meravigliosa location, grazie allo splendido cortiletto immerso nei colori floreali!! In merito al cibo, tutto molto buono a partire dall'antipasto, la migliore tartare di tonno affumicato che abbia mai assaggiato, per non parlare di quella con i gamberi, ancora più deliziosa. Primo stupefacente, trenette al pesto di mandorle con cozze e vongole buonissime, sapori ben equilibrati e porzione perfettamente abbondante😍!! Ottima la scelta dei vini, variegata e di qualità, anche sui Rosé!! Personale professionale, attento, efficiente e simpatico, con Alessio number One che gestisce la sala con cura e passione... Consigliatissimo!!! UNA GARANZIA!!!!

06/09/2025: Stunning location, beautiful internal garden, the olive trees embrace you and create a magical and romantic atmosphere. Courteous and very professional service. Truly interesting menu, offerings that tempt you to try every dish. Sophisticated pairings and different cooking methods make this a truly captivating culinary experience. The macco di fave is delicious, the spaghetti with cream of clams and candied lemon is sublime. An absolute must-do; it's impossible to come to San Vito lo Capo and not try the chef's creations.

20/08/2025: Last year I rented a house nearby. My neighbor recommended I go for pizza. That year, I didn't have time, so I didn't go. I returned this year and rented another house nearby for the holidays. So I went with my family for pizza. I booked a table outside. The tables are practically right next to the sea, although since it's dark, you can't see anything. The pizza is truly excellent. I had a four-flavor pizza, as I like it: ham, artichokes, sausage, and mushrooms. The toppings were plentiful, or rather, very plentiful. Excellent. So I even went back a second time to get it to take out. I also tried the spaghetti tarantina with mussels, and I found them delicious and very well-seasoned. The service was prompt and very attentive. The prices are average. Recommended.

19/08/2025: Among the positive aspects, the location and the opportunity to dine right on the edge of a beautiful coastline certainly stand out. As for dinner, the pizza is average, with nothing of the kind that would make it excellent. The service was prompt and friendly. The only downside was that they made a child pay the cover charge even though she didn't eat.

08/09/2025: The food was rather spartan (grilled vegetables seasoned only with salt), and the pizza oven wasn't ready until the evening; we were there for lunch. We only had one knife for three people but three forks, and the pasta was too salty and too al dente. Service was very inconspicuous or even nonexistent, but they charged an extra 25% on the terrace, perhaps because they don't like to move around more than necessary. Adjacent tables remained messy throughout our visit (about 1.5 hours), even though they had set the table for us... fine. But it's a nice place to sit on the beach. Better to just order drinks, would be our recommendation.

16/08/2025: Terrible experience, I'll definitely never be a customer again. Two hours waiting for four pizzas, terrible and even wrong. One even had a hole in the middle. I recommend going elsewhere if you don't want to ruin your evening.
