04/07/2025: Lots of smoke and no roast. Very nice place, varied staff (we were welcomed by a very kind girl, then replaced by an extremely rude and out of place waiter, in the photo). Small quantities of food, aperitif formula on the roofs different from what was communicated on whatsapp, average cocktails. To do once and then never again.

14/05/2025: I had never tried this pizzeria, it's basically like going to Calvino's in the centre, but without queues and without so much hassle. Top pizza, kind and friendly staff, you are served in a flash. Compliments. P.S. I come back after years but always at the top.

09/03/2025: Very quiet, well-equipped place with very convenient access to the sea with two beautiful stairs and a trampoline. Nice terrace to have lunch.

26/04/2025: Unfortunately I have to say that the service was clumsy and decisive in the errors that followed. We ordered a fried squid with the addition of prawns which were not added, a grilled meat and a fish one arrived for 25 euros! Unfortunately, having the omelette already on the table and not wanting to wait any longer, I chose to keep it so as not to wait any longer... I don't like fish! The side dish..2 fantasy salads for which I asked for the ingredients and a brief answer didn't say it contained mozzarella, I'm lactose intolerant and canned tuna (poor). I pointed out everything to the waiters who admitted the mistakes, furthermore you can't see the coffee served in a paper cup in a restaurant!!! In all of this I paid for everything as if it were nothing.

15/04/2025: THEY DO NOT SERVE PIZZA AT NOON. Otherwise good, when having to choose pasta we took the pistacchio and speck one and it was quite good, for dessert the canolo 10/10, the base has cocoa and tastes incredible

05/05/2025: Mi convinco ad andare in questa pizzeria, ordino due semplice pizze, ma dopo un'ora di attesa, niente, non arrivano. Chiedo con educazione al cameriere se manca molto per le pizze, mi rassicura, dicendo che stanno per arrivare. Passa un altra mezz'ora, niente, chiedo a un altro cameriere che fine abbiano fatto le pizze, si informa e mi riferisce che non risulta alcuna ordinazione. Nel frattempo la sala comincia a svuotarsi. Ordino nuovamente. Quando mangio la pizza il locale è vuoto, rimane solo il personale di sala. Disorganizzati al massimo.

03/05/2025: Passi da Castellammare del golfo? Non puoi non passare da La Duchessa e apprezzare la gentilezza e professionalità del personale e del proprietario Antonio. 05/06/2025: I went to lunch at this place, nice atmosphere, good food I would say, but I want to make a negative note. The waitress, by chance, stained my jacket with white wine so I asked for a refund for what happened. The lady applied a discount of 4 euros on the bill. Tomorrow I will take the jacket to the dry cleaners, but I think with 4 euros they won't even wash a tie anymore. Totally screwed.... result of a lunch with friends. Little correctness in the work.

22/03/2025: I absolutely do not recommend this place regarding the arancini, they were not to my liking. I ordered with the Glovo service and they arrived cold. They didn't have much flavor and were bland with the exception of the meat arancina which only tasted of onion. The outside was very soft. I'm sorry but I wasn't satisfied.

09/07/2025: Sorry, but the fish couscous is very poor in fish, with just a tiny bit on top. Everything else is good.

23/03/2025: Twice ordered pizza. Once I ordered and collected it myself, I ordered it by phone at 5pm for 8.30pm and I left with the pizza in hand at 9.45pm while those who arrived at the pizzeria if they ordered it at the time were served and it was absurd but they also left before those who had ordered by phone hours and hours before. Another time ordered pizza to be home at 9pm and at 10pm the pizza still didn't arrive. I had to make myself a plate of pasta, that's all. I don't recommend the service. The pizza is good.

30/03/2025: I went to this pizzeria recently with high expectations, but unfortunately the experience was really disappointing. The service was terrible: we had to wait hours and hours to receive our pizza, and we were even the last table to be served. Nobody bothered to give us explanations or apologize for the wait. To make matters worse, the staff were rude and unprofessional, demonstrating a disinterested attitude towards customers. The only positive note was the pizza, which was good and well made, but this does not justify the unacceptable service and the excessive waiting time. Unfortunately, despite the quality of the pizza, the overall experience was disconcerting. I will not return and I do not recommend it to anyone looking for a place with a minimum of attention towards the customer.

04/07/2025: Small place, delicious food and friendly and helpful staff. We had dinner taking first courses, both very good with fresh fish. I recommend it to those who want to eat good fish, enjoy the view of the statue of Ignazio Florio and his square but above all to those who want to eat well without having to pay exorbitant costs!
