03/01/2025: There were 4 of us who went on a Tuesday evening, arriving a little late due to the parking being unobtainable...welcomed I think by the owner who made us sit immediately, a nice person and absolute owner of the room, we had appetizers and first courses served with the right amount of anticipation and certainly everything freshly prepared! Let's say that the environment is very particular because it is in a small alley, but in the end it is a highly recommended place... strong flavours, excellent gnocchi filled with standard ricotta.

Ha pochi tavoli tutti all’aperto quindi consiglio di prenotare ed è aperto solo in estate fino ad autunno inoltrato. Tornando al pranzo tutto ottimo, abbiamo preso due primi io e mio marito da leccarsi i baffi. Se torno a Noto vado a pranzare o cenare dalla signora Ada, perfetta padrona di casa

31/01/2025: The pizzeria tables are distributed in 2 environments, the beautiful central patio next to the wood oven and the tables on the external terrace, we chose this sector, at a table closer to the door since the following ones may be uncomfortable due to the slope street. The attention of all the waiters and waitresses was outstanding, very kind and friendly, some of them are Argentinian. We share a mozzarella pizza (they divide it into two halves), funghi, sausage, red onion and tomato pachino. The dough is good and the topping ingredients are also good, although Those who took the 🥇 gold palm were the ricotta cannoli with pistacchio, along with the cannoli from the pasticceria D Amore in Taormina, they have been the best we have tried in Italy. We had the opportunity to congratulate the excellent pasticcera del Orto di Santa Chiara. Good and affordable house rosé wine. Cost: 1 pizza: 12 euros. 2 cannoli: 10 euros. 1 liter of house wine: 4.50 euros. 2 cutlery: 4 euros. Total:30.50 euros. Good price in relation to quality, service and environment. We were there on June 28, 2024.

05/11/2024: Immediately after we sat down, the chef offered us some delicious rice crackers with basil sauce and confit tomatoes. The pizza is excellent and the dough is light. The staff was very kind to us and even offered us two glasses of Moscato. Recommended pizzeria!!

12/03/2025: The Vendettari reserve is one of the first three Sicilian reserves. It was created to protect coastal marshes and dunes. Its position and its particular microclimate have made it a real hotel for over 250 species of birds. But its history goes back centuries. Greeks, Arabs, Byzantines, Swabians and Spaniards passed through here, leaving numerous testimonies including catacombs, ancient towers and churches, tuna fisheries, Latomie and other archaeological remains. All in a place of extraordinary biodiversity. But its uniqueness does not stop here, in fact if you stop by the sea you will fill your lungs with pure oxygen. In the seabed of the reserve there are 25 km of posidonia, an extraordinary plant (because it is a plant and not an algae) that releases 15 L of oxygen for every m² of extension. You will breathe better than on the peaks of Trentino. Among the most beautiful beaches in Sicily, endemic plants, extraordinary nature, hundreds of animal and plant species. And then a dive into crystal clear water with many species of fish. To be visited in every season with respect and an open gaze to wonder.

11/03/2025: Magical place, between sea and brackish water, with wonderful flamingos. Perfect for a walk away from the chaos in contact with nature, the tuna fishery offers a very particular landscape and a leap into the ancient world of fishermen. It's worth the few euros to enter.

12/03/2025: Enjoyed great lunch yesterday at Picnic. Dined al fresco with bruschetta as appetizer, tuna salad & panino. All very tasty & fresh. Highlight was owner Francesco. We chatted in blend of Italian & English while Francesco played his guitar, sang Sicilian ballads, gave us insight into Noto culture. Highly recommend.

21/10/2024: Arancini superlativi con una croccantezza perfetta. Ampia varietà di scelta. Tutto fritto al momento. Davvero da consigliare per tutto ciò che riguarda prodotti tipici da street food siciliano. Bravi!

18/10/2024: The best in my opinion of course, and yet I have tasted quite a few which are scattered all over the city. but frankly go there, you will not be disappointed, these arancina are killer 🤪❤️ and 20 meters away you have desserts to die for.

10/09/2024: Posto strepitoso sia per fare un aperitivo che per cenare. Taglieri ricchi, di varie dimensioni con specialità tipiche siciliane e ingredienti di ottima qualità. Oltre ai taglieri si possono gustare anche altre tipicità della tradizione siciliana, bruschette o il pane cunzato molto saporito e gustoso. Ottima anche la proposta dei vini da abbinare al cibo e dolci gustosissimi e golosi. Il tutto condito dalla grande cordialità di Federico e Sharon, sempre disponibili a scambiare quattro chiacchiere coi clienti. Assolutamente da provare!

09/09/2024: Passing through Noto for 2 days, we looked for something to make a hearty aperitif nearby the first evening. We found a good product and good advice for wine! We will definitely come back tomorrow evening!

20/02/2025: This restaurant is a hidden gem for fresh fish dinners. Happened here by chance but honestly some of the best fish dishes I have had. Simple place so don’t expect fancy dining but quality food and friendly service. A must try

In practice you eat by the sea thanks to a pleasant and characteristic canopy decorated with all objects from marine activities. Excellent food consumed in a charming setting. The price was normal and reflected how much we ate, all based on fish: appetizers and first courses. Advised

31/10/2024: In the meat plate, there are 4 types of meat 2 peaces each for 16 euros that look weird and too expensive (not tasty as well). Roast beef looks good but is completely tasteless. Swordfish is overroasted and covered with a lot of bitter oil, and it's served with eggplants of disgusting semi-liquid consistency. Canneloni itself is good, but the minced meat filling is too finely chopped and not cooked well. Not a single dish was finished that is too bad for 80 euros for 3 persons.

26/02/2025: One of the 2 best pizzerias in Noto. The dough is delicious and all the ingredients are quality. The vaulted room is warm and highlighted by the sober decoration, the colorful benches and the gigantic photo by Pasolini. I like it a lot

14/02/2025: During our walk in Noto, we lost track of time... we hear a faint and it is now early afternoon. Places packed with tourists... But this little place on the street offers tables and seats that allow you to find relief from the heat with its excellent food! Sandwich in every shape and filling... from the tradition of cunzato bread to more refined combinations with genuine products, fresh from the counter that you can immediately see at the entrance. We opt for u secunnu, delicious together with a spritz! What a Sicilian pleasure. A really good option to not waste time in the restaurant, and enjoy the flavor of Noto sitting in its main street. Friendly and helpful service, well done! Excellent quality/price, I recommend!!!

28/01/2025: Di nuovo in vacanza a Noto decidiamo di tornare in questo localino ben curato dove avevamo lasciato il cuore e anche le papille gustative ma anziché trovare il personale accogliente che ci aveva coccolato tutti gli altri anni troviamo delle ragazze un po' "negligenti" e una in particolare molto maleducata. Appena siamo arrivate abbiamo chiesto se potevamo sederci, le ragazze dietro il bancone ci hanno indicato dove e ci hanno detto che presto sarebbe venuto qualcun altro a prendere l'ordine. Trascorsi alcuni minuti ci alziamo per comunicare che siamo pronte, passano ancora minuti e ci accorgiamo che dentro loro cantano, mangiano, urlano e ignorano la nostra presenza. Finalmente una ragazza biondina viene a prenderci la comanda , e subito dopo ne arriva un'altra che portandoci le bibite le lascia cadere a terra e senza scusarsi le ripoggia sul tavolo facendo uscire tutta la schiuma della limonata sul nostro tavolo senza portare un tovagliolo o qualcosa per asciugare. le facciamo presente che manca una coca cola lei incolpa la collega di non averla segnata sull'ordine ma la coca cola non arriverà più al nostro tavolo, poiché alla stessa ragazza riccia, mentre ci porta i panini al tavolo, le richiediamo la coca cola e lei innervosendosi quasi ci lancia i panini sul tavolo, facendo sbattere i piatti,poi passa e ripassa accanto a noi ma sembra fare finta di non notare le nostre mani alzate, all'ennesimo cenno che le rivolgo sento dire "questa ha rotto le ....." Premetto di aver chiesto tutto in modo gentile e non mi aspettavo un trattamento del genere. Cerchiamo il conto all'altra ragazza paghiamo e andiamo via con quell' amaro in bocca di certo non lasciato dai panini che come al solito erano buonissimi.

05/03/2025: Place recommended by the manager of the b&b where we were staying, I confirmed the premises. Informal and cheerful decor, family clientele who filled the place within minutes of opening. We chose a mixed platter of cold cuts and cheeses (decent) and a guastella (unfortunately it arrived lukewarm). The first courses were excellent: risotto with Piacentinu Enna and sausage and mushrooms, tagliatelle with Nebrodi black pig ragout. More than generous portions! House wine and a bitter concluded the evening's menu. The bill is more than honest and at the checkout the pleasure of being able to exchange a few words with the co-owner of the place... Discovering what Sciabbè means!

28/02/2025: I celebrated my graduation in this place and I can say that it was an unforgettable experience. The staff and owner were incredibly kind and helpful, making us feel at home. The service was impeccable and the food... simply fantastic! Each dish was an explosion of flavors and even the vegan and vegetarian options were a real pleasure for the palate. The quality of the cuisine is truly excellent and every bite was a pleasure. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a special dining experience!
