23/03/2026: Almost a year after our lunch (Easter 2025), I want to share my experience. We ate truly delicious! I had family members visiting from out of town, and finding the table laden with "palummeddi cu l'uovu," all made according to tradition, was truly wonderful! We felt wonderfully treated, and I must say, the portions were generous as well! We even left over the desserts, which we took home! Everything was excellent; we'll definitely be back!

21/05/2026: A truly homey trattoria. We ate wonderfully; everything was fresh and homemade. The prices were very fair. The service was impeccable. It's just a shame we discovered it on our last day! If you're in Modica and want to try truly local food, you can't miss it.

04/04/2026: We chose to go during the week to avoid the weekend chaos and the difficulty of booking, and it turned out to be a great move. The place is delightful, but what really sets it apart is the amazing service: the staff is incredibly friendly, and the welcome with spiced popcorn is a touch of class that passes the wait and makes you feel instantly pampered. The sandwiches are simply the best we've ever had, a true delight for the palate and cooked to perfection. Even the side fries, often overlooked, surprised us with their crispiness and quality. The prices are above average, but the experience is worth every penny. Highly recommended!

09/07/2026: For me, Il Convivio is one of the best pizzerias in the area. Each pizza is the result of a careful selection of local ingredients and select flours. The menu is generally delicious, and the selection of craft beers is also extensive. What makes it unique, beyond the modern and elegant decor, is the staff. The guys are all incredibly kind and cheerful; it's exactly the atmosphere you look for every time you return.

15/03/2026: I had the misfortune of eating a gluten-free pizza from them. The base is packaged, but it didn't even go through their oven, defrosted, probably in the microwave. It was white, soggy, with very little toppings. In fact, it was completely unseasoned, and I paid for a gourmet pizza! A sort of rubbery mix that resembled Snow White! (The most inedible pizza I've tried so far) Value for money: 0

After asking around, we came across a postman who directed us to this fish shop. To say it was fantastic is an understatement. It was much, much more. Thank you so much, and see you again! Excellent value for money!

10/12/2025: A historic neighborhood bar, recently renovated. The owner is always available and friendly. They also offer excellent options for quick lunches: tasty, quick, and reasonably priced.
14/07/2025: A no-frills bar, convenient for ordering sandwiches after a mountain bike ride.
The porchetta sandwich is very good, and the owner is very helpful.

19/04/2026: Six of us sat at a table covered in crumbs and water. We politely asked the waitress who took our order if she could clean it. She didn't come back immediately, but after a few minutes, she brought our order, but she didn't clean the table. We did it. She noticed and came back to clean, but by then we were finishing breakfast and had cleaned. Not even a word of apology. Cleaning tables is optional for a few.

Had a fantastic breakfast with some friends, pastries were delicious and drinks and coffees were spot on.
I would totally recommend trying the granita and brioche.
Also, the personnel welcomed us and was friendly and professional.

29/06/2026: On June 9th, I celebrated my 18th birthday. I chose L'Oasi del Re, and I couldn't have made a better choice.
The atmosphere was beautiful. The restaurant was meticulously maintained and welcoming, with that elegant touch of a starry sky.
Perfect for an important dinner like an 18th birthday.
The staff immediately realized it was a celebration and treated us extraordinarily.
The food: Everything was delicious.
Delicious pizza, fresh ingredients.
Compliments to the pizza chef.
For the service, the staff were super kind and quick; they delivered everything I asked for.
I recommend L'Oasi del Re to anyone who wants to celebrate a special and unforgettable occasion without a care in the world.
Any doubts or clarifications are answered; that's part of the beauty of that restaurant: people who understand you and help you out whenever they can.
I'll definitely be back.

28/05/2026: The beautiful, spacious structure and garden are suitable for ceremonies and events, but not only.
Professional and courteous service, with normal wait times. We ate seafood dishes, all delicious. Fairly priced.
