06/08/2024: Restaurant located on a side street on Corso Umberto I in Modica. Small but very well-kept place with the possibility of dining outside under the mini gazebo. The chef offers various traditional dishes from Ragusa with the addition of a touch of customisation. Our attention was focused on the second courses and specifically on the swordfish and pistachio sea bream accompanied by French fries and green and grape salad. The quality is truly top (as are the portions). All washed down with glasses of Ispica. To finish I tasted the almond sorbet (a delight). Congratulations, keep it up.

29/07/2024: Very nice place in the centre, excellent service, qualified and helpful staff. The food is very good, fresh fish. Compliments to the chef.

22/08/2024: We stayed in this property in June 2024, the beach and all the common areas were very well kept and clean. The room we used was very large and clean, with windows that retained external noises and temperatures very well. the large bathroom well equipped with hairdryer, good hygiene products and many towels always available. The restaurant where we had breakfast, lunch and dinner was a discovery with always different courses for all tastes. The dining room staff is always available. Great kindness from the reception staff.

16/08/2024: Very beautiful Veratour village, recently renovated, spacious rooms, very clean and well-kept, top beach and sea, very discreet entertainment. The proposed excursions were well organised, with excellent guides. Not to mention the typically Sicilian cuisine... the top. Super recommended!!!!!

18/07/2024: Decidiamo di cenare in questa pizzeria dopo una gita a modica. Con necessità di servire 2 commensali celiaci. Servizio sala ottimo, coccolati da quando ci siamo seduti a quando siamo andati via, locale a conduzione familiare, prezzi nella media, pizza buona, anche discreta quella senza glutine, qualità dei primi medio bassa, da snekeria notturna non da ristorante. Avrei gradito che ci avessero offerto i 2 amari presi. Ma ci sta anche pagarli... Esperienza positiva, belle persone i titolari e i figli. Una cena cmq positiva se ordinate pizza.

03/07/2024: We stopped in for an early lunch and enjoyed a fresh salad and beautiful charcuterie board (tapas) with a nice variety of cheeses, meats, breads, olives and couscous. All of the food was high quality, fresh and delicious. Cappuccino was great too. The proprietors were kind and attentive. We recommend.

25/07/2024: Questa Osteria è risultata molto accogliente sia per il personale che dalle buonissime pietanze. Il ristorante è decorato con molti vini e liquori pregiati e tanti oggettini come calamite, piatti e portachiavi colorati. Riguardo al cibo devo dire che era di ottima qualità, indubbiamente fresco e cucinato al momento.Personalmente consiglio di prendere le linguine all' astice , dal sapore e la consistenza che definirei GODURIOSA.

12/07/2024: There were two of us for a last dinner in the Sicilian lands and we were immediately welcomed by the staff. We started with a very, very good fresh tuna tartare, then two tagliolini with red prawn and one with good clams, both with the fish always very fresh. Finally we had a swordfish roll in chopped pistachios accompanied by a Pinot rosé from Kiggera. Many compliments to the welcoming staff and the impeccable service!

18/02/2024: Last night we ate, in the company of our two dogs, at Umami. A truly beautiful, special and welcoming little restaurant. We ate some fantastic fish dishes. Original, but well made, good and elegant in taste and presentation! I would recommend it to anyone. Much more respect because they welcomed us with our dogs, who are not small, without causing us any problems. Unique place❤️

04/02/2024: If it were for the environment ok. But if the great kitchen is a completely different thing. A good presentation is not enough to make you forget flavours, combinations and emotions. We're not here at all. I'm sorry, a sincere trattoria is much better.

19/08/2024: Unexpected! Very nice owner and very willing to help us with the choice. We chose to eat fish... The best choice. Abundant portions (like a good Roman fork) and really high quality (try the freshly seared swordfish or the mega fried fish). All in a family atmosphere.

Good value for money, a small discordant note is that sometimes you find Grana (or perhaps Valgrana) instead of Ragusano, or normal onion instead of roasted

12/08/2024: Place far from the center of Modica with a wide choice on the menu including local specialties. Excellent pizza and panpizza. The staff were kind and welcoming. The only flaw is the environment which has nothing ancient about it.

10/08/2024: I took advantage of the site for a family dinner, ordering sandwiches made with pizza dough, which were really good. I recommend it.
