29/04/2024: Excellent takeaway pizzeria, all very young, we booked to celebrate a birthday of the maxi pizzas. We had a good time, outside the restaurant there is the possibility of seating inside a gazebo. Reservation is recommended.

25/04/2024: Hi, I give 5 stars for the pizza and 5 stars for the service. For environment 3 but only because I ate pizza in the camper and I won't physically be in your place. I recommend pizza with courgette cream and also pizza with artichoke cream. The only pizzeria in the area that delivered pizza to the car park 3km away (I called all the pizzerias in Agrigento and for everyone it was too far away). We were parked at the Porta V del Valle dei Tempi car park where we stopped for the night. Thank you so much Cuor Pizza 🍕.

22/01/2024: In my opinion one of the best sweets/pastry shops in Modica, not surprisingly one of our points of reference for events in general. I'm sorry to have to say today that the last two cakes recalled, one in particular for a very important event, left a lot to be desired in terms of aesthetics... From a confectionery like them we expect greater attention to detail. The writing on top is totally off-centre (all on one side) and so almost incomprehensible, same problem for my birthday cake with writing close to the cake side. Sin! The taste was good but the aesthetics.... No. I would probably go back for biscuits but no longer for cakes.

25/12/2023: Excellent sweets. In my opinion they make some of the best artisanal panettone in Modica. We were lucky to still find availability as they are in high demand. In this case we took the lemon one. One enjoys. Absolutely recommended

16/04/2024: The place is immersed in the greenery of the Modica countryside with the possibility of having dinner in the garden in good weather. We had lunch on the occasion of an anniversary. Various non-traditional appetizers (pity the arancinette rice was overcooked), two first courses with the possibility of an encore (the turmeric and sausage risotto is good!), second course and side dish with the possibility of an encore. Generous portions, service a little slow. Equipped for gluten free and vegetarianism both in the menu and in the pizza. €32 per person excluding cake (made by themselves).

10/05/2024: Cioccolateria che ha saputo sfruttare il business della cioccolata con la pubblicizzazione di tour guidati alla scoperta di una delle cioccolata più famose al mondo. Il tour è’ a pagamento.. la cioccolata cara.. a Modica ci sono posti in cui la fanno più gustosa nel rispetto della ricetta originale. Bisogna però dare merito a loro che dal punto di vista turistico non hanno rivali. Bene così!

07/05/2024: Antica Dolceria Bonajuto was chaotic when we went on a Wednesday in April – too many people in the lobby were vying for attention from the few attendants. The factory’s way of servicing customers was inefficient – one at a time for numerous tastings rather than attempting to address the needs of multiple customers simultaneously. Fortunately for us, we had pushed our way to the front and were able to sample different chocolates – all cocoa plus sugar without milk – before selecting a handful to purchase. We were disappointed that there was no tour that day of the oldest chocolate factory in Italy as advertised. Some groups had booked up all the available slots, so unless we wanted to wait until May, we were out of luck. There should have been better communication about this. Without the tour, Bonajuto was no better than any other store in Modica offering samples of their chocolate. Nobody really cares that it’s the oldest producer when you’re eating that day. Still, it was fun to see the folks in the back preparing the chocolate and deserts. We happened to meet a local chocolate connoisseur who advised us on a couple of specialties to try. The “Mpanatigghi e Nucatoli” had a secret ingredient with historical and religious origins. Cherry Wonderdog won’t spoil the fun for readers by spilling the beans here, but it’s definitely worth exploring during the visit.

19/03/2024: I always forget they exist but every time I go I am never disappointed. Both when I order sandwiches and when I order tacos. I recommend adding the chips because they are truly divine. Seeing is believing! They only sell Sicilian products (you can also notice it from the drinks: they don't have Coca-Cola but Polara for example). A philosophy that should be encouraged.
