23/11/2025: A cool place with a nice atmosphere, the service is okay, but not very customer-oriented. The food is poor compared to other restaurants in the area.
12/11/2025: I had lunch at a quaint hillside restaurant in Taormina with a lovely sea view. The atmosphere was relaxed, and the food was really good. We only had one course and a drink, but it was quite affordable, around 30-40 euros per person. The only downside was that the music was a bit loud, but overall, it was a nice experience.

26/09/2025: Small restaurant in the center of Taormina, nestled in a quiet, secluded alley. The food is excellent in quality and flavor, not to mention the selection of exclusively Sicilian wines, which further enhances the flavors of the excellent cuisine.
Viola and Gabriele are a true asset with their knowledge and kindness.
Highly recommended!!

10/11/2025: Teatro 44 is as surprising as the origin of its name, which owner and chef Salvatore Denaro explains with a smile.
High-quality cuisine brings great character and innovation to the dishes, especially the gnocchi with bisque and licorice, which is amazing.
We really enjoyed our stay. The restaurant exudes creativity, which I also found in the dishes. The wine list is superb.
We'll be back soon.
23/10/2025: Went here as we were tired of the standard italian fare in Taormina. The place did offer some interesting variation on italian food.
We sat inside their beautifully laid out dining room. The decor was modern with comfortable ergonomics. Good enough for us to spend more than two hours at the place.
We ordered four of their appetizers and two mains with drinks and desserts. Everything was presented well and was delicious.
The restaurant felt like a family run restaurant with very good service.
Would recommend them for a nice comfortable dinner.

23/10/2025: The most affordable food and yes super delicious the people are also very warm we found in Sicilië. We found it after try some others restaurant in the center of Taormina but after we know this Cafe we went there almost everyday. They have a lot of menus for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We ordered gelato but was not ready and they offer us with Granita it is like Sorbet but wow so delicious I tried Pistache and strawberry. The Lemon cake is also super tasty. Arancini and Pistache Croissant 🥐 are my regular 🩷. Very recommended place .

19/09/2025: We had the perfect day at Tao beach club ! Incredible vibe! Beautiful atmosphere. The sun chairs, umbrellas , drinks and food were perfection. Everything was made with the best ingredients and presented with care. We loved having use of the tubes to go in the water. Felt like I was in an episode of White Lotus!

03/09/2025: Love this place the service was very welcoming and very precise server spoke English as she said she lived in NY before. The cappuccino was really good and all the pastries she recommended. To our surprise all of it cost a lot less than at the beach and taormina. We'll be coming back tomorrow morning.

10/10/2025: This restaurant is a little out of the way and seems to attract mostly tour groups, with just a few small family tables when we visited. But the food was outstanding — absolutely worth the detour.
We had the burrata appetizer with tomato jam and mushrooms, the fresh pasta with the fish of the day, and the roast lamb. Every dish was beautifully prepared, but the roast lamb stood out — perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavor. Overall, an excellent meal and a great find off the main tourist path.
04/10/2025: We visited the restaurant relatively late, so there was still plenty of space. Reservations are recommended. The pasta we ate was very good. It's a bit more expensive than other restaurants, but it's worth it. Despite the small number of guests, the service seemed a bit overwhelmed and disorganized, but it was still very friendly. We would return.

02/10/2025: The three stars are only for the arranchinis. We ordered coca cola zero and they gave us something else that they called “sicilian coca cola zero”. They didn’t tell us for that thing as we were talking to be bottled and to take it to go.

07/11/2025: Great service. We ordered a tuna salad, zucchini tart, and picanha steak. Everything was delicious. The only downside was the dessert, a "cheesecake" that was actually made with cream. If you like cream, great, otherwise you're better off ordering something else.
