22/05/2025: Came here for a wine tasting to learn about the different grapes and regions of Sicily and was served some of the best wine we’ve tasted recently. For context, my husband and I live in New York and constantly drink at some of the world’s best restaurants. This is a must visit for anyone visiting Taormina. The pricing is great and the value is unheard of. We were drinking bottles of wine from states that produce a less than 800 bottles annually. Highly recommend..

10/05/2025: ¡Qué hallazgo! Este lugar es un poco fuera de los caminos trillados, pero vale la pena buscar. La comida y los productos son absolutamente deliciosos y el conocimiento que Gabriele y Viola tienen de los vinos, muchos de los cuales son locales, para que coincida con sus opciones de comida es excepcional. Tomaron tiempo para explicar los perfiles de vino y por qué coincidían con las opciones de alimentos y hablar sobre los proveedores. El servicio fue discreto y tan amable. ¡La comida, vaya! Para mí destacaba el Gazpacho con burrata y a mi pareja le encantaban sus raviolis rellenos de carne de res en una salsa crema parmesana. Sea aventurero y pruebe este encantador menú siciliano y confíe en Gabriele para entregar en el frente de vino. Excelente, muy recomendable!

23/05/2025: Prepárate para una aventura inspiradora en la comida. Vaya velada. El escenario y la vista desde nuestra mesa. El servicio - increíble. Gracias Guissippe. Y la comida y cómo fue presentada y servida. Incluso hacen que el pan sea especial. Y no estoy olvidando lo maravilloso que era cada plato de comida. Este es un buen lugar. Venga con hambre y listo para un viaje Recordaremos nuestra comida aquí durante mucho tiempo. Grazie Mille. ❤️

11/12/2024: Otto Geleng realmente merece su estrella Michelin! El servicio fue impecable. La comida era deliciosa, sabrosa, muy bien presentada. Excelente tamaño de porción para una degustación del chef, y el momento perfecto del plato. Maridaje de vinos igualmente fantástico. Recomiendo encarecidamente la experiencia y me encantaría hacerlo de nuevo si volvemos a Taormina.

04/06/2025: A small restaurant recommended by locals, the taste is very authentic, the service is very good, the bathroom is very clean and fresh

04/06/2025: We had to wait about an hour for a table. I recommend better organizing the seating management. (I'm a colleague) Anyway, we ate well. The raw seafood was good, the fried calamari was good but the portion was a bit small compared to the price and considering that it was a frozen product. The service was very kind. The only flaw was that the pretty girls next to us were offered limoncello and we were given nothing...

03/06/2025: The restaurant is nice enough although quite brightly lit in the evening which did give it an odd atmosphere. The waitress was charming and very helpful. However the food was disappointing. We had the sardine spaghetti (which was unbearably salty) and then another sardine and tomato linguine with breadcrumbs which was better, but still very salty. It wasn’t much better than what you could make at home with good ingredients. I did note that the people next to us also didn’t finish their meal as it was too salty. A shame as it was hyped up to be delicious.

02/06/2025: Pasta no better than what’s capable being made at home. The atmosphere and service do not make up for the quality of food.

29/05/2025: Wow... we spent three days in Rome, five days in Puglia and the last seven days in Taormina And this was by far the best Experience. Up the beautiful white steps just above Corso Umberto we were lucky enough to check it out, and the food was incredible. The service was outstanding… I hope you get the chance to try it. 17/05/2025: Beautiful small beach, not too busy, not as many beds as other beach clubs but we got there around 10:30 and didn’t have a problem getting a bed. You can rent towels for a fee. The food and service were great.

30/05/2025: Pizza ok! Poderia ser melhor o atendimento. Os garçons nem nos olharam nos olhos. O lugar é bonitinho. Pitoresco .. Traz uma ideia russa e italiana ao mesmo tempo.

19/05/2025: This was our favourite bar. Fantastic small plates, great beer and wine, great service. Perfect place to watch the world go by. Plus we got chatting to lovely people as it’s quite intimate inside. Thoroughly recommend.

Set in a beautiful garden, we enjoyed a delicious dinner - fresh from the sea sea bass taken off the bone in front of us and served with style. A very special Etna wine recommendation for wine lovers and a great last night in Taormina.

01/05/2025: Siamo stati in questo lido per un giorno di relax ma tutto è stato reso pessimo dal cibo davvero da mensa universitaria. La pasta all'olio viene spacciata per spaghetto alle vongole. Metto 2 stelle per la spiaggia che ancora non è sotto il loro controllo.

19/05/2025: Das Restaurant war ausgezeichnet (4.5) bewertet und auch die Location sehr schön. Darum haben wir dieses Restaurant ausgewählt. Wir hatten Busch Guetta, danach Teigwaren und eine Pizza. Wir müssen leider sagen, es war das bisher schlechteste Essen, seit dem wir in Sizilien sind. Wir wissen nicht, ob der Koch gewechselt hat oder sonst was vorgefallen ist, diese Küche ist aus unserer Sicht Maximum befriedigend. Sehr sehr schade für einen sonnigen Abend in Taormina.

15/05/2025: Nos gustó mucho cada momento de nuestra visita! La hospitalidad era excepcional, el ambiente cálido y acogedor, la vista impresionante, y la comida aún más increíble. Recomendamos este lugar a todo el mundo, y ya sabemos nuestro lugar favorito para la próxima visita!

20/05/2025: Elegant, somewhat hidden and very tasty place. Prices a bit higher than is standard in Sicily (although I think they are more affordable than in other places in Taormina) but in the taste you could feel that they are made of high quality ingredients

29/05/2025: The staff here were lovely and helpful. Treated you like a five star resort. The shuttle bus was extremely convenient for getting to and from town. The view from the room is stunning. The only downside is that you don’t have much privacy from your neighbors. I was on the phone speaking quietly one evening on my patio, and my neighbor came and very rudely told me she was trying to sleep.

20/04/2025: We had an absolutely exceptional stay at Villa Angela and would come here without hesitation if we were in Taormina again. The greeting was warm, welcoming, and informative about the area. A real highlight was that they pointed us to the shuttle service that they run, for a very small surcharge you can take their minibus down the steep hills into the centre of Taormina. This was great but I'd recommend booking on to your return trip before leaving the hotel if you're planning to come back at a busy time! The rooms are absolutely delightful, with gorgeous sicilian touches throughout. The room servicing was subtle and unintrusive, and kept our rooms looking polished to perfection throughout our stay. The breakfast selection is awesome, I really looked forward to it each morning. The breakfast room has a beautiful view over the city and the sea. You can see Etna from any room in the hotel, including from the bar or by the pool. This hotel is reasonably priced for the service and location it offers. We strongly recommend this to anyone visiting Taormina.
