16/10/2025: Portions were small for pretty unremarkable food - lunch menu price seems fine for such a tourist saturated area, until you’re charged an additional 3 euro per person for a cover charge, which does not include any bread etc. I’d absolutely say avoid.

07/11/2025: This is a gem of a place on the Main Street in Taormina. Lovely cozy bar atmosphere, with great ambient music. We went on a rainy evening and it was the perfect place to escape the weather. They offer a wonderful selection of cocktails, and light food. We were six people, and had 2 very nicely arranged cheese and charcuterie platters, and two pizzas, and the portions were generous enough that we had enough food for dinner. The wait staff were friendly and anxious to please. We would definitely recommend.

05/11/2025: Fine for a quick high priced drink, but the bartender special cocktail was overly sweet and they served prosecco in a regular wine glass than a sparkling wine glass. They never checked on us once.

21/10/2025: This Michelin restaurant in Taormina did not disappoint. They amazed and delighted us at every course of the tasting menu. A very memorable experience.

05/10/2025: A wonderful experience, we chose the Mare&Aria tasting menu. The exquisite dishes, the impeccable welcome and service made it a Saturday lunch to remember. We also recommend it for the splendid sea view.

22/11/2025: The best meal we had in Sicily. Charming location just off the Main Street in Taormina. A great menu with lots of options to suit all tastes, most being local delicacies. I had the pork pasta, rabbit stew and cannolo which were all super.

05/11/2025: We had a wonderful meal at La Zagara. The food was fresh and full of flavor, especially the pasta and seafood, very sicilian experience. The staff were friendly and made us feel really welcome. The place has a nice, relaxed vibes, and very close to the center. I’d definitely come back and recommend it to anyone visiting Taormina!

05/12/2025: Truly excellent dinner. The raw fish appetizer is extraordinary: incredibly fresh and rich in flavor. The parmigiana is also excellent, while the caponata is good, though not exceptional. The first courses, both the one with bottarga and the one with shrimp and pistachios, are very tasty and well-balanced. Don't miss the tuna with caramelized onion, cooked to perfection and truly delicious. Attentive and professional service, elegant yet comfortable atmosphere. A highly recommended place in Taormina.

10/11/2025: We had a delicious pizza for lunch on the beach! With a bottle of wine. Everything they give you on the beach is plastic. The restaurant has a wider menu and better service. But I still recommend it. The guys are amazing! They never stop, serving everyone with the best attitude. We had a wonderful time!

23/10/2025: This restaurant may as well be one of the best places I’ve ever had dinner. We found it online and decided to check it out spontaneously, and just wow. The garden is beautiful, with several citrus trees. Super romantic atmosphere. All the staff has specific roles, so the sommelier only does take wine orders, the waitresses only bring food and take away empty plates or refill empty glasses and there are separate people for taking food orders or bringing out the bill. Although it might feel a bit slow (reading some of the other comments), there definitely is a system in place that works well. And then the food… eating a variety of vegetarian food has been difficult in Sicily. Not at this restaurant; they have an amazing selection of high quality vegetarian food. Probably the best vegetarian food we’ve ever had. We started with a delicious burrata and tomatoes, then lemon linguini, fried artichoke and shared two desserts. We did not have any wine, just two bottles of water and I was surprised with how low the bill was for the amazing quality of food. Feels like dining in a Michelin setting, but for a super reasonable price. Thank you to the staff for this amazing experience!

19/10/2025: The place is enchanting at first glance. The garden is beautifully kept, and the exposed stone gives the setting a sense of age. In short: beautiful! Except for the interior, which is a bit bare. The quality of the food is truly high. The raw fish is delicious, and the tagliolini with purple shrimp and Bronte pistachios are truly special. I highly recommend it! The value for money, for Taormina, is extremely good. The focaccia served with olive oil—a local custom, but usually only with bread—is also very good. The service is attentive. Nothing special, but definitely worthy of the place.

Dining here feels like an experience rather than just a meal, excellent service, relaxing atmosphere, and unforgettable scenery. Whether you’re visiting for a romantic dinner or a casual lunch, Le Orologio delivers perfection in taste, ambiance, and view. Definitely one of the must-visit spots in the area!

14/10/2025: My mother and I arrived here. We had planned to eat, but we decided to have a glass of wine. So we asked for the menu and ended up giving it back because we only wanted a glass of wine. A grumpy face immediately appeared. Well, we just accepted that until the bill finally arrived. €20 for two glasses of house wine. How badly can you get ripped off? I'd say if you only want a drink, go somewhere else quickly, because they'll rip you off right here.

09/11/2025: I ordered Involtini Pesce Spada Fresco Grigliati alla Siciliana. The rolls were very small, Spada is very thin, ingredients not tasty, the fried batter outside is badly burnt. Why is this dish cost 32euros? The waiter was kind but the stern faced lady who seems to me the shopkeeper was rather curt and blunt, store-oriented style, reluctant to welcome a customer from the far east small island.
