28/11/2025: Beautiful setting and super romantic. Food was delicious and staff were lovely. Portions are small so marked down for that in terms of value for money. Marked down on service as was charged an additional €30 for a bottle of wine we did not order. Did not notice until we got back to the hotel as we were in a rush to pay because it started to rain and we were outside! With that being said I would go again, without the kids and make sure I check the bill properly next time! The outdoor terrace is truly stunning.

23/10/2025: This restaurant may as well be one of the best places I’ve ever had dinner. We found it online and decided to check it out spontaneously, and just wow. The garden is beautiful, with several citrus trees. Super romantic atmosphere. All the staff has specific roles, so the sommelier only does take wine orders, the waitresses only bring food and take away empty plates or refill empty glasses and there are separate people for taking food orders or bringing out the bill. Although it might feel a bit slow (reading some of the other comments), there definitely is a system in place that works well. And then the food… eating a variety of vegetarian food has been difficult in Sicily. Not at this restaurant; they have an amazing selection of high quality vegetarian food. Probably the best vegetarian food we’ve ever had. We started with a delicious burrata and tomatoes, then lemon linguini, fried artichoke and shared two desserts. We did not have any wine, just two bottles of water and I was surprised with how low the bill was for the amazing quality of food. Feels like dining in a Michelin setting, but for a super reasonable price. Thank you to the staff for this amazing experience!

19/10/2025: I think it varies by staff member (the owner seemed to be more attentive), but the service we got was terrible - refused to talk through what wines they had on and pretended they only had a few wines available when we saw others offered a full range

12/01/2026: Excellent lunch. Prices are a bit high, but justified by the attention to detail and the staff's expertise. We were looked after by a super-friendly woman. The music was perfect. The location isn't the best for Taormina, but it's worth it. The only thing I would have avoided was the presence of someone I believe to be the owner, who not-so-gently "works" from a table away, taking orders, talking on the phone, etc.

30/11/2025: It's been a few years, but I still remember it being a beautiful location and that the calzone was excellent. I hope to come back again soon!

10/11/2025: We had a delicious pizza for lunch on the beach! With a bottle of wine. Everything they give you on the beach is plastic. The restaurant has a wider menu and better service. But I still recommend it. The guys are amazing! They never stop, serving everyone with the best attitude. We had a wonderful time!

16/02/2026: A very average experience. While the pizza was decent, the Aglio Olio pasta was a disaster. It was completely flavorless and lacked spice.

13/02/2026: Having had the experience at the Cyclope, which we didn't know was under the same management, we were looking for a place to eat well. I must say the food was decent, but the tiramisu was terrible, so much so that we vomited all night. I remind you of one fundamental thing: a second course must be served strictly cut on a flat plate. Perhaps because there was a group and they didn't have plates, it was served on a very deep plate. It was poorly cooked, a shame.

01/01/2026: Best restaurant we went to in Sicily! Food is absolutely incredible. Taormina is full of mediocre tourist traps and this place really shines. Small and intimate; great service. Food was delicious, honest and well plated. Every dish was thoughtful and well balanced.

08/01/2026: Excellent service and location right in front of the garden entrance. Breakfast features fresh and delicious products. Ask for rooms overlooking the valley, as the view of Mount Etna and the city is unforgettable.

17/11/2025: A truly wonderfully hospitable and friendly welcome! The room was clean, and the location was fantastic. At the rooftop bar, you can enjoy delicious cocktails with a phenomenal view. We even got a treat. They really want to pamper you. Highly recommended!

05/01/2026: We discovered it by chance yesterday. We came to see the living nativity scene and were looking for a place to eat and a lady recommended this place to us... we ate well and the service was truly excellent.

16/11/2025: Dreams are made of this. Probably the best description I can give. First time visit and its extremely rare we revisit anywhere again simply because there are so many other places to go things to see. So we got home and rebooked twice to go back in 2026. This is our happy place. Congratulations to all that work so hard to make this happen.

28/06/2025: Fantastic location with stunning views of Mount Etna, beautiful, stylish, and spacious rooms, very friendly staff, excellent and plentiful breakfast and a great dinner with a romantic atmosphere at very fair prices, a small oasis away from the tourist hustle and bustle of Taormina city center (we'd love to come back!)

28/12/2025: A nice place with good service. I had the granita and it was excellent, and the aperitif was also quite good, thanks to the many rustic appetizers. I recommend trying it.

26/12/2025: Visited Caffè Augusto while in Taormina. The atmosphere was cozy with a relaxed local vibe, and the service was friendly and easygoing. We tried the granita — refreshing and exactly what you want in the Sicilian heat. It also turned out to be a great stop for our friend to load up on cold beer at a very good price, which is never a bad thing in Taormina. Overall, a solid spot that works well for both locals and visitors. Saluti

29/12/2025: I really appreciated the waiters' service, especially Oliver and Ziaur; we came with our dog, and they were immediately available to find us a table where we could all sit comfortably, even providing him with a bowl of water. The pizzas were very good, and the restaurant's decor is equally impressive.

25/12/2025: The cheapest place in Taormina. Unbeatable value for money. The arancini are delicious, and the gelato is exceptional, especially the pistachio! Highly recommended!!! Gelato with 3 scoops for only €4.50, coffee for €1.20, right in the center of Taormina. Kind and friendly staff. It's truly my favorite place when I come to Taormina.

10/12/2025: I'm giving it five stars because I don't like to trash businesses, but unfortunately I have to say I've never been to this place. I walked forty minutes uphill to get there for breakfast, but unfortunately it was closed for vacation, even though it was listed as open on Google Maps. In 2025, I think this is a very serious oversight.
