14/04/2025: No hay palabras para describir lo deliciosa que es la comida. Cada artículo era mejor que el siguiente: la albóndiga era la mejor que he probado, la berenjena estaba divina, los quesos y las carnes eran todos locales y excelentes. El servicio fue increíble y se puede sentir el amor en la preparación de la comida. La mejor comida en Taormina manos abajo

06/09/2025: This was the best pizza I ever had in my entire life (Mongibello)! Also, the linguine with seafood were so fresh and good, I was shocked. Everything was cooked to perfection! We will be coming again.

23/09/2025: We were sitting on the beach in front of the restaurant. The smell of food made us hungry. I then found cozze (mussels) on the menu. The portion was a generous €15. I've never tasted better. Slightly spicy, with garlic, tomato, and white wine. Coperto was €1.50. The cozze is a dream. Good service with a sea view. Moretti draft beer is too expensive at €6 (0.4l).

22/09/2025: Lack of transparency... a well-kept beach in an excellent location... but what we consumers cannot and will not forgive is the lack of transparency and the unclear information regarding prices for admission, sunbeds, umbrellas, etc.

17/10/2025: We had an absolutely legendary lunch at Caffe Isola Bella. Nazar and Fabio guided us through the menu. The food was very good. Can’t wait to come back for round two.

13/06/2025: We had booked for outside at 20:30. When we arrived the restaurant was heaving and our table was unavailable. We were offered a glass of prosecco and waited. We were offered a table inside which we grabbed. This place is really busy. Gianne Luca is a true performer. He entertained and informed us about the specials and the menu. The food was prompt and delicious. An excellent meal and we would go again in a heartbeat.

13/05/2025: Siamo tornati dopo qualche anno in questo ristorantino nel centro storico di Taormina (fra il corso principale e il duomo) e tutto ha confermato l’ottima impressione avuta in precedenza. Abbiamo mangiato dei ravioli con ricotta e crema di pistacchi e degli gnocchi con pesto e gamberoni. Poi abbiamo diviso del calamaro gratinato con panatura e verdure. Tutto ottimo. Il locale è dotato di un delizioso giardinetto e di un balconcino più riparato con due tavoli. Prezzo assolutamente nella norma. La gestione è a carattere familiare con personale gentile e cordiale. Torneremo senz’altro.

07/04/2025: Lugar tranquilo justo detrás del duomo bajando unos escalones. Recomendado por el hotel. Acogedor lugar familiar, comida siciliana. Albóndigas y carne muy buena. Ravioli estaba bien. Los bandos eran generosos.

04/10/2025: Wife and I just finished four nights in the suites and had an amazing time. Tomas is such a great host. We were not familiar with Taormina so picking a place to stay was sort of a toss of the dice and we lucked out. The location was perfect, literally five steps from the city gate. So close to everything, yet nice and quiet. Our room was perfect with a very nice terrace to sit out and relax for a minute. Breakfast every morning was great, just enough to get the day started. Unfortunately we are late sleepers so I usually grabbed food and ran it back up to the room. We would have liked to sit on the patio to eat, but that’s on us. If you don’t know about Taormina, parking is very difficult. We laid the extra to have our car parked by the staff and it was worth it. The staff here is really warm and welcoming and I would not hesitate to stay here again in the future.

21/10/2025: !! AVOID THIS PLACE !! Entire place runs cluelessly. (Should look and believe other reviews) Arrive 10 minutes prior to the reservation. Got told to wait 5 minutes, but end up waiting more than 30. People arrived later got seated before us. Many tables’ food was missing or wrong.

20/10/2025: It was a meal we had been looking forward to, and it looked really delicious. The initial reception was also normal. We made an online reservation for 8:00 and arrived at 7:50. The waiter gave us each a glass of sparkling wine and asked us to wait for 5 minutes, but 30 minutes later we were still not seated. During this time, more people lined up, but no one showed us to the empty tables. It also looked like the diners were having trouble getting their meals. Someone who looked like the boss came out and pushed the diners who lined up later into the empty seats. Neither we nor the other diners who arrived earlier understood this arrangement. Based on this logic, we might not be able to get our meals until 10:00, which was a pity. In the end, we left and went to another restaurant. It would have been better if they had told us directly that the wait would be long, so that we could have decided whether to continue waiting, instead of constantly asking people to wait another 5 minutes. The online reservation could also be cancelled because it was meaningless.

28/09/2025: Fantastic location, sea view on Isola Bella, one of the most beautiful places in the world 😍 Maximum professionalism and kindness. Top-quality food. The freshest fish here gives you a true taste of the sea. We'll definitely be back.

22/04/2025: Die Küche hat ihre Highlights (Lamm) und ihre Lowlights (kalter Fisch serviert). Das Service ist bemüht, kommt aber nicht wirklich über einen mittleren Standard hinaus. Was uns nicht gefallen hat war die Atmosphäre. Man sitzt in einem in die Jahre gekommenen Wintergarten und das Lokal wirkt kalt. Hier scheinen auch nur Touristen zu speisen und keine Einheimischen, was wir in Italien nie als gutes Zeichen erlebt haben.

14/04/2025: Cenamos aquí por mi cumpleaños y tuvimos una noche muy encantadora. Las mesas de la pequeña terraza de la azotea están en un lugar muy romántico, con la cumbre del Monte Etna justo visible sobre los antiguos tejados. Fuimos muy bien atendidos por el personal y las opciones de comida y vino fueron algunos de los mejores que probamos en Taormina.

06/10/2025: First visit and an immediate excellent impression: friendly and professional staff, impeccably fresh fish, and top-notch raw seafood. The sea view is also splendid, enhancing the experience. The wine recommendation was spot on: a truly successful dry Zibibbo from Case Bianche. The grilled fish is among the best I've ever tasted. Congratulations!

21/10/2025: Theft, 4 Aperol Spritzes with practically nothing but ice cubes to fill the glass to the maximum and 18 euros per glass...shameful. And on top of that, the waiters are of no interest...avoid

03/10/2025: The wait time for a regular Aperol is over 20 minutes. The staff doesn't care about the guests at all. It's a disaster. I don't recommend it. Prices are outrageous. Two Aperols cost 20 euros.

31/08/2025: Although it is in the very touristy central area (like all of Traumana), the place is very nice, good cocktails, and light food, the bruschetta is excellent, and very good Sicilian small dishes. Recommended for a light meal or aperitif
