07/07/2026: I ordered a carbonara, but unfortunately, I received something completely different. A true carbonara consists of guanciale, egg, pecorino Romano, and pepper – this one used ordinary bacon instead, and the sauce tasted more like mayonnaise than a classic carbonara. The typical flavor was completely missing. For the price, I expected much more. Very disappointing.
06/07/2026: Ordered Carbonara and pasta vongole. Sauce and flavouring was good, but pasta was al al dente. Not sure why a pasta dish for 24 Euros is severely undercooked?? Do better please.

13/06/2026: Up the stairs in a Taoramina alleyway you will find this little gem of a restaurant! We came here as a group of 6 and ordered EVERYTHING on the menu to share AND every dish was absolutely perfect! The place is very authentic and charming, the service was warm and friendly and the prices were great! Definitely one of our favorites in Sicily!
09/06/2026: We had a fantastic experience at 3/4. The chef was in the dining room and was extremely attentive, making excellent recommendations. The zucchini tortelloni is spectacular and the ricotta ravioli dessert is divine. Congratulations on the experience, fantastic!

02/05/2026: The best restaurant in Taormina, with exceptionally friendly service, a homey atmosphere, delicious food, and fresh fish—not so easy to find on this island. We're going back tomorrow. Plus, the view of Mount Etna—wonderful! I hope there are more places like this!

The portion size is plenty to fill you up.
Prices are fair.
Tip: Pasta with pistachio cream. Alternatively, pizza with the same topping. Excellent!
07/07/2026: We tried burrata salad and diavola pizza. It was the most delicious meal we have had in Taormina. It is a nice and cool place. We’ll come back as soon as possible :)

26/06/2026: Came here based on reviews. Ordered Sicilian-style fish for two. They brought boiled fillet with 5 pieces of boiled potatoes in a few spoons of broth. Waited an hour. Price about 100 euros. A complete disappointment. Never been so sorry for money for tasteless food.

18/01/2026: We stumbled upon this place by chance on the way up to Taormina. It's very cute, well-maintained, and the staff is welcoming and kind. As for the food, I have to say it's excellent. I should point out that I'm a vegetarian, and finding creative alternatives in Italian restaurants is difficult. But here, I was pleasantly surprised. I had a cauliflower meatball appetizer and a porcini mushroom panzerotti with parmesan cream. Both were plentiful and very good. The price is standard for Taormina, so it's fair to say.
20/11/2025: A perfect restaurant, just a six-minute walk from the center.
You get great value for your money, high quality, and attentive service.
Highly recommended!

Tao Beach Club is an excellent option for a relaxing day at the beach. The service is outstanding, and the restaurant is truly top-notch. A special thank you to Natalia, who is exceptionally customer-focused — even though the club was fully booked, she called me back as soon as a cabana became available and reserved it for us.
It happened to be the last day of the season, and my wife and I couldn’t have asked for a better way to spend it. The atmosphere, service, and attention to detail made it a perfect ending to our trip. Highly recommended!

We shared a jug of local white wine and Classic Bruschetto 👌 We also had the vegetarian macaroni dish and it was yummy.

Very disappointed with the Hotel Metropole. Although the views are incredible, the experience was terrible. We had constant problems with misleading prices both at the beach club and on a private boat; we were quoted one price and charged another. The worst part was the manager's lack of professionalism, who refused to speak to us during our three-day stay. Don't expect five-star service here; the attention is deplorable.
