03/06/2025: Although there are 21 varieties on the menu, they offer certain varieties according to the season, and naturally the fruit flavors are very nice. We tried Strawberry-Bitter Almond and Coffee-Bitter Almond. It tastes like sorbet, very nice, but for my taste it is more of a dessert in the afternoon than a breakfast. I will come again. The ambiance and communication of the staff are very nice.

26/11/2024: Simply wonderful. Small, tranquil alley, small chairs and tables made from wine crates in front of it, rustically furnished inside - what was promised visually was even exceeded by the wine. We're not big wine connoisseurs, we said we like a dry Lugana - he recommended a local wine. In short: the best we have ever drunk. We also ate a bruschetta, the selection was limited because not all the ingredients were available in winter (so everything is fresh!) - but still a very good little piece of bread for a reasonable €2.50. If you want to have a drink before dinner: go here!

16/05/2025: Visitamos Franco Wine Bar en Taormina el 13 de mayo. Decidimos probar sus arancini. Pedimos el pistacho con queso y los de berenjena. También pedimos su cóctel Vulcano Spritz. El personal era acogedor, muy amable y extremadamente paciente mientras tratábamos de hablar italiano. La comida era deliciosa y los cócteles eran geniales también. Sin duda recomendaría una visita si estás en la zona.

07/05/2025: Mi pareja y yo estábamos en un tour con CIE Tours y pasamos la mañana con una visita guiada de Taormina y luego tuvimos la tarde para tomarnos un tiempo por nuestra cuenta y descubrir la belleza de Taormina, lo que hicimos. El día fue pintoresco y disfrutamos de toda la belleza que la ciudad tiene para ofrecer, entrando en hermosas iglesias, encendiendo velas y caminando y disfrutando de todo. Vimos a un hombre que invitaba a la gente a Franco Wine Bar y Comida Típica Siciliana y pasamos, pero de alguna manera fue tan acogedor que entramos y al entrar, llegó la lluvia. Estábamos en el cielo, pidiendo arancini y canoli y ensaladas, no en ese orden pero el ambiente era mágico y nos topamos con otro cupé de Londres y charlamos y cenamos y cenamos y charlamos y... no podríamos haber encontrado un lugar mejor. La comida era tan excelente, nos quedaba tanto pan con la ensalada, empacamos lo que no pudimos terminar y disfrutamos de vuelta en nuestro hermoso hotel... El Franco Wine Bar & Típica Comida Siciliana era un ahora 'recuerdo' de Taormina para nosotros, y tenemos buenos pensamientos y palabras amables para el personal, son muy excelentes! 19/05/2025: We have been in Sicily for nine days and this was our best food yet. Very high-quality food from their rooftop patio. Great service. Maya was our server and she was a wealth of information on a wide range of subjects from food to must see sites around here that we will be sure to like.

02/12/2024: Last year, on a one month sabbatical of Italy, I spent about 3 nights in Taormina and my first evening there was spent dining at TreQuarti Taormina. The gentleman who owns the space was so hospitable and made me feel so comfortable, made great conversation, and suggested one of my favorite dishes of the whole trip, swordfish rolls. (Don't knock it until you try it, it's a delicious take on fish.) Additionally, when I had first arrived to the quaint town, I struggled immensely to get my overpacked luggage down the stairs to my Airbnb, that happened to be across from this adorable restaurant. The owner of this restaurant helped me carry my suitcase up the stairs to my accommodations (in the blistering heat) and helped ease my embarrassment in front of his customers. I am so grateful for this interaction and the dining experience too. Definitely worth a visit to this spot!

02/06/2025: Best meal I’ve had in Sicily and maybe the best meal i ever had. You probably need a reservation it gets busy, its a family owned spot and the food is just perfect.

08/06/2025: Restaurant in a quieter location on the edge of the otherwise busy center. We were here in the evening when there was not much movement of people on the streets. The service was pleasant and prompt. This restaurant has a classic selection of food and drinks. Overall, everything was fine.

25/01/2025: The Villa Ducale is a beautiful little boutique hotel on the hillside of Taormina, the rooms are beautifully furnished and offer every comfort, the shower in the bathroom was also incredibly good as it had a built-in waterfall. The view from the balcony was magnificent; in the morning you could enjoy the sunrise in peace. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful, the lady at reception even spoke perfect German which was a pleasant surprise. The view from the in-house restaurant is stunning both at breakfast and dinner.

07/06/2025: Loved finding this restaurant and it certainly satisfied my pizza cravings! I love outdoor settings and Villa Zuccaro was perfect for it. However, we kept getting attacked by the bees who seemed to want my pizza more than I did 😔 sadly had to retire indoors!

06/06/2025: Fresh creamy burrata, the potatoes are soft and starchy. Tiny bit of sausages, but for the price still worth it! Came around 8:40, waiting time around 15mins.

08/06/2025: I ordered fried fish and vegetables. I was given a plate of fried seafood, mostly calamari. When I pointed this out to a waiter I was shown two fish fingers within the platter. So they cant even get the order right. When most of our party had finished they cleared the table while I was still eating. Not good enough.

02/06/2025: The restaurant da Giovanni was truly a great experience. The atmosphere is welcoming, relaxing, bright with a breathtaking view of the balcony overlooking Isola Bella. The dishes are delicious, with very fresh ingredients, prepared with care. Excellent food quality. Familiar and professional welcome, the staff was friendly, attentive and ready to satisfy any request. Highly recommended.

24/04/2025: After Easter Monday, I found this restaurant with burgers on the menu as the only one open. Order at the bar. I chose the classic Cheese Burger and a small beer that landed on the table in a stemmed glass, very good. Burger served with a generous portion of french fries + ketchup/mayo in small bags, not tatara. A burger in a sesame brioche, quite large. I appreciate the pickle. The staff is attentive, asks if you like it. Overall satisfaction, I left full, but I would rather not come again for the burger and try another restaurant.
