17/02/2025: Definitely poor. Let's say that, in this case, it is not necessary to "try" the complete range of dishes offered to understand that we are very far from a respectable fish cuisine. The excellent fried calamari, the very salty cockle gnocchi, the red mussels, in which only the strong acidic flavor of the tomato was evident, the embarrassing French fries. The staff was very kind, otherwise, what can I say.....????Probably, and maybe even rightly, people only consider "going out and eating in company".......but good food is something else!

11/11/2024: My husband and I spent two nights in Taoromina and both nights we ate at Al Giardino! Everything we ate was incredible! The Marsala chicken with a side of vegetables - outstanding! Impossibly moist chicken. Tagliatelle with red prawn and pistachio - unlike anything we’ve eaten in Italy and so delicious! Spaghetti with anchovies and fried bread - oh my god I will be dreaming of this dish! So comforting and very umami! And of course the eggplant parmigiana! Unbelievably flavourful and so meaty. Definitely try it! The minestrone and meatballs were also fantastic! Great service! Everyone was super attentive and kind. A true gem of a spot and I hope to return one day! Grazie!

07/03/2025: Disastrous experience, i had the Paccheri con tonno there a few days ago, and the pasta were totally hard = completely undercooked (not 'al dente', but undercooked). I asked the waiter to take back the dish and recook it, which he finally did after trying to convince me they were just 'al dente'. When he brought back the plate, he admitted the pasta were too hard indeed, but the 'new' ones were not much better. Instead of apologizing and making a commercial gesture for their missed dish, they counted 1 liter of water, although i asked for a small bottle, and additionally for the 'coperto'. Please go somewhere else, they are far better and cheaper restaurants around!

25/02/2025: Fantastic service, food, atmosphere- a wonderful team who not only shared their knowledge and experience of the cuisine but also went above and beyond to ensure we had a great dining experience. The cheese selection with honey and marmalade was sublime, the homemade agnolotti with shellfish sauce was unbelievably good and the steak excellent. It was my husband’s birthday and the staff brought out a slice of candle-topped chocolate cake, really a memorable evening- thanks - check out the offer on The Fork if you would like to experience this with other budget-friendly options - definitely worth it ☘️

11/03/2025: My husband and I had the pleasure of staying here for our honeymoon and had an AMAZING stay. The property is beautiful, the food is incredible, and the beach and service are fantastic. I truly have nothing negative to say. It’s a little slice of paradise in Taormina. The food from breakfast in the morning, dinner at night, and service at the pool and beach are so wonderful. This is a perfect destination for couples enjoying their honeymoon. My only negative feedback was that the spa wasn’t anything special. But other than that we had an amazing time and cannot wait to revisit!

07/03/2025: Certainly outside the box, but it is a very pleasant 5-star, pleasant staff, strategically located on the sea and a stone's throw from the cable car to the center of Taormina. Excellent restaurant, excellent breakfast.

06/03/2025: We had two wonderful meals in this restaurant. The service was beyond excellent, the food was delicious and authentic. The restaurant feels warm and welcoming. We would recommend everyone to come here.

29/03/2025: The restaurant is beautiful. But in my opinion it is not worth it. I've never seen such a small amount of mashed potatoes in my life 😁 it's literally 1 spoon. For 27 EUR. Too expensive for what you get. It's not my cup of tea. Thanks. There are plenty of restaurants around.

27/03/2025: Nice place to sit and relax, drink some wine and eat nice pizza - first time in my cylindry carrier I met pizza in Italy with egg but it was really tasty. 🌚🌝

25/01/2025: The Villa Ducale is a beautiful little boutique hotel on the hillside of Taormina, the rooms are beautifully furnished and offer every comfort, the shower in the bathroom was also incredibly good as it had a built-in waterfall. The view from the balcony was magnificent; in the morning you could enjoy the sunrise in peace. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful, the lady at reception even spoke perfect German which was a pleasant surprise. The view from the in-house restaurant is stunning both at breakfast and dinner.

02/11/2024: Mi familia y yo cenamos en el restaurante de Villa Ducale después de un día de cata de vinos en la bodega Gambino cerca del Monte Etna. Tuvimos la suerte de compartir el restaurante con un par de otras partes. Los platos eran de lujo y tenían perfiles de sabor bien equilibrados. Todo lo que pedimos era delicioso. ¡Nada quedó en nuestros platos! Las bebidas especiales también eran fantásticas. También teníamos una botella de vino tinto que era sorprendentemente bien precio por lo bueno que era. Prueba un vino nero d'avola si te gustan los vinos tintos de sabor profundo. La vista aquí también es de primera categoría. Tiene vistas al monte Etna con una vista impresionante del Mediterráneo. ¡Si eliges comer aquí, no te arrepentirás!

26/10/2024: Here you can eat the best pizza and pasta from Mazzaro 🤭🤭👍👍 Really recommended and the price is great. You won't find a cheaper and tasty restaurant/bar in the area The beer is also great. We will come back when we are nearby. Pizza, pasta, bruschetta and 2 large beers 40€

04/01/2025: Eccellente dal servizio impeccabile ai loro piatti molto curati. Proprio per quanto detto prima, per me non è una trattoria ma un Ristorante! Innanzitutto il proprietario è stato Gentilissimo, e non ha esitato un attimo, nel riportare indietro un piatto eseguito benissimo, ma per mio gusto personale non gradito, malgrado potevo essere più attento durante l'ordinazione del piatto e richiedere maggiori informazioni, visto i miei gusti personali. Ho avuto il piacere di degustare: -Insalata di carciofi marinati con gamberi; -Pasta con nero di seppie; chi era con me ha mangiato anche gli involtini di pesce spada, che sono stati graditissimi. Prezzo giusto.

09/01/2025: In giro per Taormina ci siamo ritrovati in questo ristorante cibo buono prezzi , location da vecchia trattoria. Prezzi fuori contesto non puoi far pagare un primo 35 euro e un dolce 15 neanche nei miglio ristoranti di Milano ci sono sti prezzi. Capisco che siamo in una cittadina turistica ma non puoi approfittarne così senza dare niente di che.

04/01/2025: We had great dinner for New Years Eve in Taormina! Sicilian fish and Irish beef were amazing, the same as pasta linguine. Salvatore, the owner, tried to do his best to have a great time. The Sicilian sparkling wine was amazing. Pricy dinner, but high quality cousine.
