Antica Crispelleria Cordai In Acireale

I've been to this restaurant a few times and have never been disappointed! I once tried a pizza with creamed purple cabbage. The combination of ingredients is perfect for me, with a balance of flavors and textures in the pizzas I've tried so far. The crispelle are a nice novelty for me, as I'm not from the area, and one leads to another, especially the anchovy ones. I also appreciated the speed and attentiveness of the staff. I hadn't reserved a table one evening, so my partner and I sat at the first available table. Since it was a bit drafty, one waiter in particular made sure to move me because he noticed I was cold. Great meal. Lots of choice and portion sizes brilliant. Only criticism was that we were offered an after dinner aperitif which was implied to be gratis, however we were charged 3 eur each. When there’s 19 of you, it’s a bit of money!

Went there last night with the excuse of Carnival. The crepes were delicious, especially the ones with anchovies. I don't know about the ricotta ones or the honey ones, because I don't eat both. Highly recommended. They also have a wide selection of rotisserie.

Very good food and great service

I randomly stopped without any expectations because we got hungry on our way to Syracuse. As a foodie, I usually research a lot before I eat somewhere, so here I “risked” it here and was very surprised about the quality. Also the coffee is way better than average. Still Italian style but way more aroma.

Anyone who wants to eat really well absolutely has to stop by. Very good.

Excellent aperitif, a few euros more than the competition, but definitely worth it.
