09/08/2026: The pizza was definitely the highlight of the evening: very good and well-made, and there's nothing to complain about. Unfortunately, however, the overall experience wasn't up to par. We chose the place partly because we'd been told it had air conditioning, but when we arrived, it was off and only turned on about 20 minutes later. We were told that, since the oven was on, they couldn't keep the air conditioning on at the same time. Considering the heat, it certainly wasn't pleasant. Another aspect that left us perplexed was being served with paper cups, which we honestly didn't expect when eating at a pizzeria. Finally, when it came to paying, we had to queue with people waiting for takeout, creating further confusion and a wait. It's a shame, because the pizza is truly worth it, but the management and organization of the place, at least in our experience, didn't live up to the quality of the product. With a little more attention to service and customer comfort, the experience could be significantly better.

20/07/2026: Unfortunately, I was disappointed. The food was good; I can't say anything negative about that. However, the value for money wasn't convincing. We ordered a €16.90 menu, but the portion was far too small for that price. We only got a bit of salmon, a few mussels, some octopus, and a little salad. We also paid €12 for a cover charge for five people. There were only cutlery and a simple paper placemat on the table, no tablecloth or any special service. For this reason, the cover charge seemed excessive. It's a shame, because the food was tasty, but unfortunately, I won't be returning.

16/08/2026: Probably the worst Sicilian food I have ever experienced. No fish on the menu as it was bank holiday so I’ll give him that. The misto Caldo turned up With just fries and panelle no olives and nothing else not served as described on the menu. La caponata was a marinara sauce with just aubergines no capers no peppers, no pine nuts , no raisins, no onion and definitely not sweet and sour. Mixed grill was very under seasoned with just a patty, traditional sausage and a chop with bitter salad. Wine was good. Even the coffee was poor. Non sanno cucinare Avoid and spend your money elsewhere.

29/07/2026: It was a horrible evening, my husband ended up in the hospital for food poisoning. I hope they do some tests. The food was disgusting. We waited 45 minutes for two chips and bacon reheated in the microwave, full of oil. My husband had the Eifel Tower sandwich, it was disgusting. I didn't eat the baguette after the ham arrived, which smelled strange... and the baguette was the frozen one... then the lady who seated us arrogantly told me that I wanted ketchup in the sandwich, because there were mushrooms in pink sauce... But what does that have to do with it, and besides, there weren't any mushrooms... Anyway, it was a Tuesday and there were 4 tables crowded together and we all complained about the time and the food that was served... I only know that I had to go to the hospital because my husband got food poisoning... this place should be closed down.

11/08/2026: The restaurant is truly beautiful and, at first glance, makes a great impression. Unfortunately, however, our visit was a huge disappointment, as many things were completely different from what we had ordered or what had been promised. We had chosen the Aperitivo Package 1, which promised, among other things, sushi. Unfortunately, there was no sushi. Even the Grana Padano aged on a wheel that we had been promised was simply presented in cubes on a tray. Furthermore, comparing what was listed on the menu with what we actually found at the buffet, several dishes were missing: * ❌ Cascade of prosciutto * ❌ Grana Padano wheel * ❌ Sweet and sour fish balls * ❌ Mini prawn skewers * ❌ Mini burgers * ❌ Mixed arancini * ❌ Tortillas with Mexican salsa, spicy puffed rice, peanuts, and olives * ❌ Fried battered calamari * ❌ Grilled specialties * ❌ Mixed fried dishes And let's not even get started on the dessert buffet: there was practically nothing we expected. A real shame, especially considering the price paid and what was advertised. Overall, the buffet was extremely disappointing and completely different from what we had been offered when we booked. This isn't just a personal expectation: we're talking about dishes that were clearly listed on the menu and, once we arrived, weren't there. For the price we paid, we definitely expected much more. It's a real shame, because the restaurant is very beautiful, but unfortunately, the food, the buffet, and especially the organization absolutely didn't meet our expectations.

14/08/2026: A classic osteria serving traditional, home-cooked food. Many dishes are cooked in a wood-fired oven, giving it a unique, authentic flavor. Mainly meat-based, but also many vegetarian and traditional dishes (snails, tripe, etc.). The cacciatore pizza, made with hare sauce, is delicious! Prices are proportional to the size of the appetizers/main courses. The staff is always friendly and unobtrusive. The timing is convivial, unhurried, and stress-free. Best during the week, however, as it's significantly less crowded. Try it again and again!

07/08/2026: Fantastic experience! A lovely place where you eat well and are treated well. I was lucky enough to try a little bit of everything, and everything was fabulous. I met the owner and some of the people who run the place: very polite and capable people. The atmosphere is very well-kept, modern, and elegant. I would gladly return.

The staff were lovely (even though they didn't speak English, so communication could have been difficult), it was inexpensive (3 generous pizzas for €17), and what can I say about the absolutely delicious pizzas? 🤤 We got some to take away to eat on the beach, and we have no regrets. On the contrary, I'll remember them for a long time because they were so excellent! Plus, there's a wide variety of pizzas, and even other options, so there's something for everyone :)

09/08/2026: A beautiful hilltop relais with breathtaking views of Licata and the sea. A seafront infinity pool and a beautifully landscaped garden. An elegant Art Nouveau villa and very friendly staff. La Bottega Ristorante, the on-site restaurant, focuses on gourmet Sicilian cuisine and local products. Prices are excellent, and both the indoor and outdoor spaces are pleasant and spacious.

18/04/2026: Nov./Dec. 2025 = I visited them in conjunction with the university course I taught in the "Bachelor of Nursing" program; moreover, one of the first times I visited this bar, I was fortunate enough to (unexpectedly!) be part of a birthday party where the two owners (husband and wife!) treated me as if I were a long-time acquaintance/friend. I will always hold that feeling close to my heart. Thank you so much.

21/04/2026: Very tasty gelato — truly one of the best we have had. The owner is incredibly friendly, and the pastries are amazing as well. We enjoyed it so much that we came two days in a row. We will definitely visit again the next time we are in the area.
