05/08/2025: This evening I went to this place, let's call it, for the first and "last time", which an acquaintance had indicated as a typical place. ..if I had never done it before, we arrived, "my husband and I sat down but we didn't know there was a fixed menu. I took a quarter of that miserable menu, my husband almost everything....everything was really of very poor quality, not to mention the hygiene and what an environment....anyway, after having harmed ourselves with that terrible food, I asked for the bill, they asked me for 60 euros without taking into account the fact that I had eaten almost nothing and hadn't even ordered it, and when I pointed out that I had eaten almost nothing, he verbally attacked me....a nightmare evening....I don't understand the positive reviews, maybe they are friends or he pays them because it's not possible....everything negative, if I could I would give it 0

They advertise that with the Starters menu (€25 p.p. + €2 cover charge) you eat like Bud Spencer, but I don't think they've even seen a film of the legendary Bud (I think he's turning in his grave at this hour). Three of us went and we took this menu and we were disappointed. In short, the appetizers were just aperitifs (many bars in Sicily do them even better). We paid €27 for aperitifs, one of which was also forgotten (the typical Sicilian pizza, the so-called cuddruruni) + a plate of pasta with potatoes. Wir waren zu fünft dort und die Rechnung am Ende hat uns sprachlos gemacht: nur 90 Euro insgesamt! Ein unglaublicher Preis, vor allem angesichts der hervorragenden Qualität aller Gerichte. Die Pizzen waren einfach köstlich – knusprig, frisch und reich belegt. Vor den Pizzen wurden uns sage und schreibe 15 Vorspeisen serviert: ein wahres Fest der Aromen! Alle waren sehr lecker und abwechslungsreich, perfekt geeignet für jeden Geschmack. Einige kräftigere Spezialitäten wie Kutteln und Schweineschwarte sind vielleicht nicht jedermanns Sache, aber gerade die Vielfalt zeigt, dass hier wirklich für jeden etwas dabei ist. Das Lokal ist gemütlich, der Service freundlich und die Atmosphäre herzlich – bei "Da Mimmo" spürt man echte sizilianische Gastfreundschaft. Wir kommen definitiv wieder! 29/07/2025: Politeness, courtesy, and courtesy distinguish Gran Caffè Royal from all the other cafes in Lampedusa. Their gelato is delicious; the Dubai is my favorite, as are their cannoli. It's our regular stop during our vacation.
