10/06/2026: We came for cannoli without realizing that the shop had already closed and the staff were finishing up and cleaning the place. Despite this, they were incredibly kind and couldn’t let visitors to their town leave without tasting authentic Sicilian cannoli, so they specially prepared some for us. We were welcomed with genuine warmth and hospitality, which we truly appreciated. The cannoli were absolutely delicious, and everything was wonderful! It was a pleasure to experience such kindness and care. We highly recommend this place to anyone who wants not only to enjoy amazing cannoli but also to experience true Sicilian hospitality.

09/06/2026: A small village bakery, full of delicious things! We had lunch there; they opened the awning for us to sit in the shade at the tables, even though there was a bench already in the shade. We tasted several products and bought more to take back to the B&B for dinner! Including the desserts! The cost was truly minimal; for everything, they gave us change for €20! Regardless of the cost, I'd say if you're in the area, it's worth stopping here. Friendliness, courtesy, and friendliness are the hallmarks!

14/05/2026: The kitchen opened for us at 17:00, it supposed to open at 19. The service was fast, we got the meal in 20 min. I liked the nice plate! That was really good. Location is nice next to a temple!

27/07/2026: The service at this restaurant is deplorable; the waiters seem bitter and indifferent to the customers. The wait is interminably long, even for the food. Ultimately, it's really not exceptional, not to mention the pasta, which is very small and sparsely topped. The pizzas are nothing special, and to top it all off, the wait is truly endless. And I really must emphasize the appalling service from both the owner and her staff. This restaurant should be avoided at all costs.

27/07/2026: Although the pasta was good, the portion was incredibly small: shrimp, burrata, and pistachio pasta with only two shrimp at the bottom of the plate. Furthermore, the service was extremely slow—almost 20 minutes just to get the menu, another 20 minutes to take our order, and nearly an hour to be served. The waiters were slow and arrogant, showing no concern for the customers or the wait. We had to wait until the very end of our meal (and believe me, it felt like forever) for an ashtray. It felt like they were bothering us when we called them. So, this restaurant is very expensive for such deplorable service and meager portions. I was very disappointed and would not recommend it. It's a tourist trap with only the pretty terrace setting going for it. Avoid it!

05/05/2026: A truly enjoyable evening at Giarra. A welcoming and informal place, friendly staff, and fast service. I had the pizza with prosciutto, arugula, and shaved parmesan: light, well-leavened dough, a soft, crispy crust. The focaccia with spleen was also a pleasant surprise: flavorful, soft, and well-seasoned. Fair prices and generous portions. I recommend it for a dinner with friends, pizza, and local specialties. I'll gladly return next time I'm in Alessandria della Rocca.

12/06/2026: I went into the place to ask for a small glass of water to cool off and was immediately refused. They then directly told me to buy a bottle of water for one euro. Bad reputation.
