16/03/2025: The place has a pleasant appearance, the walls are made of stone, and order and cleanliness are evident. Dinner was a bit of a surprise, we wanted to order meat dishes, as described on the menu but there wasn't enough for four people and we were told that they mainly prepare pizzas. The Argentinian angus meat that was available was served to us but it was cold and did not give its best. Sin.

10/09/2024: Honestly really DISAPPOINTED Poor food quality All flavorless and full of oil and salt Vomiting arancini, dripping oil and burnt The sandwiches are disgusting, I won't tell you about the seasoning Very slow service even though there wasn't a "full house" I trusted the positive reviews but the NEGATIVE ones are true So, personally, go elsewhere if you are on holiday in Lampedusa and avoid this place!!!!!

10/03/2025: I've known the owners of the place for many years and have been frequenting Pizza Mania "all my life" but until now I've never thought of doing a review and I think the time has come to do so. The Pizza prepared rigorously by Peppe Cuffaro (and not by other pizza chefs as often happens in other pizzerias when they become "too famous") is not a simple pizza but an experience to be enjoyed from start to finish. It really leaves you speechless, starting from the way it looks and then continuing with the palate, total enjoyment, the ingredients are fresh and you can taste them all, one by one, the taste is something that when you try it you can no longer do without, the dough has risen perfectly and the cooking is just right, neither raw nor burnt, soft, beautiful. My girlfriend and I took "Itria" and "Delizia". I recommend them, absolutely worth trying, but not just these, but all the pizzas that our friend Peppe prepares for us. Yes, Peppe is a friend, he puts you at ease, both he and his wife, extraordinary people, total availability and superlative hospitality are the sidelines, then the environment is very familiar, you feel at home, you have no problems there with them. And then the nice thing is that, unlike other pizzerias, you can go and sit even at one in the morning, as I often do for work reasons 😄 and to top it off, you can easily find free parking. In short, what more can I say, enough with the words, go there and then let me know. You can also mention my name if you want 😊 and believe me, it's a completely dispassionate review. Pizza mania deserves it. And a lot too.

17/01/2025: Visited in january. Late afternoon, almost all rest closed, except expensive ones. Sulemani was hidden gem. Clean, proffesional cook. Delicious chicken kebab. We took small and large, 12 eur. Too good.

07/04/2025: It is not my style to denigrate a business, especially if it is a restaurant like Golden Beach, where I have always had a great time over the years. It is a place that I have recommended to many friends, taking them there for birthdays, reunion dinners and other special moments. I have always left satisfied and grateful for the quality and atmosphere. My previous review, which I have no intention of deleting, is evidence of this. Unfortunately, the other day, with my wife, I had a very different experience. We returned with the desire for a good fish meal, but the situation did not live up to expectations. Already from the wine, something was wrong: in the past it was served in a sealed bottle, this time they brought us a half-liter carafe. When I asked for the wine in a bottle, they brought me an already opened one. It is not a great thing, but the wine is opened in front of the customer. We ordered the classic "Pescato con tre primi", which includes a mix of appetizers and fish-based first courses. The appetizers: – Cold and hard fried food. – Very acidic caponata. – Acceptable mussels. – Hard as rubber octopus salad. – Eatable arancini and sardines a beccafico, but nothing special. The first courses: – Risotto too liquid, almost in a flavorless broth. – Paccheri a bit hard. – Cavati overcooked. Finally, a good sorbet and free coffee. A small gesture, which I appreciated anyway. I am really sorry to write these things, because I am fond of this place. But it is also right to say things as they are. I do it with respect, in the hope that it can help improve. I will return, because I believe in second chances. But if the quality does not return to what it once was, I will be sorry to have to remove it from my list of favorite restaurants. ---------------MY REVIEW FROM 1 YEAR AGO---------------------- What can I say? When I want good fish, the best choice is always Golden Beach in Porto Empedocle. Excellent service and food always above expectations. You always wake up full and satisfied with the excellent flavors. Highly recommended.

04/04/2025: As soon as you enter the restaurant you get the feeling of being unwanted! You hear "no pizza" - we left immediately, which is why we didn't find the "hall for mass processing" atmosphere appealing!

Il servizio è cordiale e attento, l’atmosfera accogliente, abbiamo gustato un delizioso antipasto di pesce, fresco e saporito, seguito da una pizza impeccabile. Gli ingredienti di qualità e l’impasto perfetto hanno reso la serata davvero piacevole. Consigliatissima per chi cerca qualità e gusto!

01/10/2024: Highly recommended! A family-run establishment, which offers both a restaurant and a hotel with a splendid outdoor space. When you arrive you immediately perceive a simple and welcoming atmosphere, the owner welcomes you warmly and you immediately feel at home. Very attentive to our requests, they served us with kindness and attention to detail. We ate fish-based meals with great pleasure for our palates! The homemade fish caponata and the seafood salad were sublime! Not to mention the grouper ravioli... a delight! The villa is in a convenient location very close to the beach and the village: we will definitely be back! 👍

01/10/2024: Consigliatissimo! Una struttura a conduzione familiare, che gode di uno splendido spazio esterno con ristorante e albergo. Quando arrivi percepisci da subito un’atmosfera semplice e accogliente, il proprietario ti accoglie con calore e ti senti subito a casa. Molto attenti alle nostre richieste, ci hanno serviti con gentilezza e cura dei dettagli. Allego le foto dei piatti che abbiamo mangiato, con grande piacere dei nostri palati! La caponata di pesce fatta in casa e l’insalata di mare erano sublimi! Per non parlare dei ravioloni di cernia… una goduria! La villa si trova in una posizione comoda vicinissima alla spiaggia e al paese: ci torneremo di certo! 👍
