27/03/2025: Welcoming venue and well-trained and courteous staff. Excellent dishes with quality raw materials. Sicily can be felt in every dish. Absolutely not to be missed are the busiate with prawns and asparagus. What can I say...the Chef was really nice. He followed us and advised us with his polite ways and a big smile. Excellent I recommend it.

01/12/2024: The pastry chef was very friendly and professional. There is so much of his in his pastry shop that smells of Sicily. Easter lambs and panettone are his strong points. He could educate many young people by teaching me a trade that he would be very successful at

23/03/2025: The thing that distinguishes this place is the owner and the staff, almost all female and super kind. Every time I'm on the island it's like finding myself at home. The restaurant offers a buffet starter and various fish dishes. Rather than reading the menu, ask them directly who will certainly recommend local and very fresh things. Must try is the couscous (which they only make on certain days), the Palermo-style octopus, the pasta with crabs and the pasta with squid ink. The restaurant overlooks the port and is very easy to reach.

18/03/2025: During my visit to Lampedusa, I had the pleasure of dining at this beautiful restaurant, and I must say it was an extraordinary experience in every way. The freshest fish, cooked to perfection, was the real star of the evening. Each dish was an explosion of authentic flavors, which highlighted the quality of the raw materials. All accompanied by an excellent selection of wines, perfectly paired with the dishes offered. But what made the evening even more special was the staff: professional, attentive and incredibly friendly. From the moment we arrived until the last sip of wine, we were welcomed with genuine hospitality that made us feel at home. If you are looking for a place to enjoy the best fish in Lampedusa in a welcoming and refined atmosphere, this restaurant is absolutely worth a try. Highly recommended!

13/01/2025: I went to this restaurant on January 2nd. It was quite late and since there wasn't even a restaurant open in Casteltermini (town), I started searching on Google for restaurants in the area. Luckily Fontanafredda answered the phone in a friendly manner. So after about 15 minutes of driving, I arrive at this place. The location is very particular, I personally liked the room best which was closed at the time and I had lunch in the white room. The owner welcomed us, recommended a fish starter which was delicious and since it was rich and excellent, my family and I were already full and happy. My family and I also got a dessert (almond parfait) which was very good. The price was really great. Well done! In addition to the food which was delicious, what I liked most was that despite the late hour (2.15pm) we were able to have lunch without any rush. Which is rare these days. I recommend this place if you go to Agrigento and its surroundings as it is quite close to the Palermo-Agrigento state road.

Abbiamo gustato una deliziosa zuppa di macco di fave, baccalà fritto croccante e lumache saporite: ogni piatto era abbondante, caldo e preparato con un’attenzione che richiama la cucina di una volta. Il locale, pur nella sua semplicità, conquista grazie alla calorosa accoglienza dei proprietari, rendendo l’atmosfera autentica e familiare. Qui non si cerca il lusso, ma il gusto genuino e l’amore per le tradizioni. Tornerò sicuramente per provare le altre specialità della trattoria, un luogo perfetto per chi ama riscoprire i sapori autentici di un tempo.

12/09/2024: Cucina STREPITOSA, la cuoca soddisfa tutti i palati. Costo basso e qualità altissima. Da non perdere se siete in zona e non vi azzardare a lasciare nulla nel.piatto!
