For those who live outside of Sicily, going to places like this makes you feel like you were a kid eating at your grandparents' house. Everything is served with a smile and the friendliness of the owners and staff. A must-see every time I return to Sicily!

07/04/2026: There were two of us, so we ordered the parmiggiana pizza—the huge one they call "tabisca"—and a fish fry. We couldn't finish it; it was so much, and it was truly delicious. The girl serving the tables even prepared a takeout box for us to take away the leftover pizza (perhaps she noticed we couldn't make it). Great prices and Great experience.

06/05/2026: Highly not recommended. We won't be returning. We went to this place on a Tuesday evening, two of us, for a sandwich and a simple burger. Unfortunately, in addition to the quality of the food—far from what was so highly praised—we encountered a series of negative aspects, one after another. When I made my reservation, I asked for a burger, salad, and fries in addition to the sandwich (which includes fries). The waitress informed me that this wasn't possible, because fries are only served with sandwiches. I accepted without hesitation. When it came time to get the bill, however, looking at the €39 receipt, I politely asked how much the burger and salad alone cost. The answer was €15. Incredulous, I asked for confirmation: "€15 for just a burger?" The waitress, laughing, replied: "Ma'am, next time you should get the sandwich." To which I retort: ​​"Ma'am, I can't eat the sandwich. You don't have to tell me what to eat, and in any case, there won't be a next time." A sandwich with a hamburger, baked potato, provolone cheese, onion, mayonnaise, and a side of fries costs €14, while a simple hamburger with salad costs €15. A difficult pricing choice to understand, especially considering that the burger on the plate was identical (and rather paltry) to the one on the sandwich (passed off as an Angus burger). In addition to improving the quality of the raw ingredients, I would recommend reviewing the pricing policy, perhaps by hiring professionals, and paying a little more attention to customer service.
