21/04/2025: È stato il ristorante di riferimento durante la nostra vacanza. Abbiamo più volte scelto di pranzare/cenare, non solo per la qualità e bontà del cibo, ma anche per la cordialità e disponibilità del Sig. Mimmo e dei suoi familiari.
Abbiamo apprezzato le tagliatelle allo scrigno, i secondi a base di pesce e gli antipasti tipici siciliani.
Porzioni abbondanti e gustose. Torneremo sicuramente

22/06/2025: I found the fuel service impeccable: attentive, fast and friendly staff. Kudos to those who manage this area, at least as far as the fuel area is concerned.
Unfortunately, the experience at the bar was a completely different thing. The behavior of the staff seemed out of place and decidedly unprofessional: loud chatter, discussions between colleagues in front of customers, no attention to those who were in line or simply looking for a quiet coffee.
Given the presence of cameras, I wonder why the management does not intervene to correct such poor service. It is obvious and embarrassing.
If you can, avoid entering the bar. A real shame for a rest area that could offer much more.

The pistachio and almond granita accompanied by the legendary brioche (served hot) is exceptional.
If you visit Castelmola, you can't miss Bar Turrisi.
Highly recommended!
12/07/2025: Turrisi Bar is a must-visit for both Castelmola and Taormina. Anyone visiting these parts, even for just a day, can't miss it. It's unique inside and has a breathtaking view outside. The service is excellent, and while they're not the best granitas and brioches in the area, it's still worth a visit and a drink with a view.

At first glance, I wasn’t sure this was the place for me. A sugar-heavy breakfast, no menu in sight, and a very local vibe that felt a little unpolished.
But then… I had the croissant. And the cappuccino.
Honestly? It was the best croissant I’ve ever tasted — flaky, buttery, warm — and the cappuccino?
11/07/2025: A historic restaurant, and driven by its fame (and my hunger), I couldn't resist trying it. The place is large, spacious, and clean. Excellent, fast service, but most importantly, the arancini are completely "illegal" given their deliciousness. The traditional one, in particular, is definitely the best arancini I've ever tried. Excellent, crispy, and firm breading, the rice cooked perfectly. The ragù is incredibly flavorful, and the filling is generous. My compliments!

26/06/2025: Sat down when it was empty and waiting for 15 minutes for someone to come over and take an order. After ordering the waiter brought the wrong items to the table including 2 different pizzas. He tried to claim both were the same rustica pizza right after saying one was a zucchini pizza. We called him out on it and the other waiter came by and explained they were out of the rustica. He suggested a pepperoni which we agreed to and then brought out a red pepper pizza... food was average. Pistachio croissant tasted like one of those you buy in a supermarket. We had a vegan with us and everything she tried to order they were out of... they would even cook her a pizza without cheese..

29/06/2025: I randomly chose here to have Polpo, and I'm so happy with my choice. It's a petit lovely scilian riatorante with quality service.
The polpo was well cooked but not too much, and I liked the bruschette. I was told it'd be too much yet it was just good!
