15/08/2025: IT FEELS AT HOME! A truly relaxing and satisfying experience: delicious food; wonderful hospitality from Mrs. Teresa; simple and refined atmosphere. Today I had lunch with a delicious plate of hot and cold appetizers (caponata, salami and pancetta, sheep's cheese, fried vegetables in batter, baked egg, eggplant cutlet and parmigiana, sun-dried and gratinated tomatoes, bell pepper roll, pickled olives); then two first courses: macaroni al ferretto (alla norma, and with hazelnut and pancetta sauce); a second course of baked pancetta with breadcrumbs and a pepper and tomato filling, with a side of baked potatoes; a slice of ice cream cake with black cherry syrup; bread (delicious, perfectly baked from crust to crumb!), water, Coke, wine; and coffee at the end. All at a very discounted price, and above all, with the feeling of having delicious food as if you were at home, in an environment that even when it was full remained reasonably quiet and without any noise. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

31/05/2025: È da molti anni che conosciamo il Sig. Mario e la famiglia Bonaccorso. Al solito il pranzo è stato all'altezza delle aspettative dagli antipasti, ai 2 primi (sedani al ragù di vitello con finocchietto selvatico e tortellini ai funghi porcini conditi con speck e nocciola) al secondo e al dolce. Consigliato.

21/08/2025: From the positive reviews, I expected much more: the quality of the food and its ingredients isn't the best. My companion and I ordered a plate of "gran fritto misto," which we expected to find anything but a single prawn, very few calamari, and numerous small pieces of breaded and fried swordfish. The quality and poor leavening of the pizza also disappointed us.

18/08/2025: Super friendly, helpful, and cheerful staff. Nice, quiet place, very good wood-fired pizza. A place where you can relax and enjoy fair, honest prices. I highly recommend it.

14/07/2025: Scoperto casualmente passando dalla ss113, ci siamo fermati per cena in questo ristorante "similbavarese", che si trova tra Mazzaforno e Cefalù. Personale cortese all'accoglienza, in parte vestito (per l'appunto) con abiti che richiamano quelli tipici della Baviera. Menù ampio e vario, con molta scelta di formaggi e carni ma pure con qualche opzione a base di pesce; buona la scelta delle birre, che è possibile ordinare anche in caraffe da un litro ed oltre. Visto che la carne sembra essere la loro specialità, abbiamo optato per uno stinco (buono e servito anche in modo molto... coreografico) e per un galletto arrosto, che a parere di mia moglie poteva essere più gustoso. Alla fine, oltre a due buone birre abbiamo preso due dessert, entrambi apprezzati. Prezzi in linea con la zona (mangiare a Cefalù è sicuramente più costoso...); disponibile un parcheggio per le auto.

24/05/2025: I have tried all the granitas in Acireale, and the best is the one at Blue Bar! The brioche is also excellent, nothing to do with the others. Very kind staff, especially Simone who is a professional! I recommend it for lovers of artisanal products

27/07/2025: Surrounded by nature, this property is perfect if you want to spend a few relaxing days. The room was large, comfortable, and clean. The property was well-maintained and clean, as was the pool. Marco, the caretaker, is very helpful and kind, and the owners were also very helpful. I brought my dog with me, and there were plenty of spaces for them too. We really enjoyed our stay, we recommend it!

08/08/2025: On Friday, August 8th, at 9:30 PM, I was at Caffè Insigne on Via Etnea. I ordered two Spritzes for my girlfriend and me. The Spritzes were watered down and all Prosecco, with no Spritz flavor. I politely asked if it could be topped up with more Aperol, and the bartender in question, a short girl with brown hair and a ponytail, responded very rudely, pulling a snarky face, snapping that the Spritzes were good without tasting them. She also treated us rudely because she thought they were good, saying she knew what she was doing and they had to be good! After she made us the new Spritzes, she asked her colleague (who was very kind, and even apologized to us on her behalf) in a loud voice if we had said anything about the Spritzes, as if to provoke discussion. The bartender in question is also very lucky to have found two good people.... Why was she aiming for the mixed spritzes and making them!!!?

08/07/2025: Given the scorching heat, a granita with brioche was the perfect remedy. We stumbled upon this bar with a renowned name, but nothing to write home about. The granita was good, but very loose, and served in plastic cups, not just to us but to other tourists as well. That day, they didn't offer table service, so we made do. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case for some of the locals, who sat down and were served with slushies in glasses and metal spoons. Excessive parochialism? Certainly not pleasant.

07/07/2025: We will never return. The lady is always rude. My son had to go to the bathroom, they told me they had no water... last year a friend of my mother had to go to the bathroom and guess what? Same answer... they had no water. It seems absurd to me. Obviously after having happily consumed. And surely there are better granitas! Don't waste your time in this dump. Rude, lazy and let's not talk about hygiene...!!!!!

02/05/2025: Delicious succulent meat! It will definitely quench your thirst for a great steak. Everyone is so nice and patient. My Italian is poor, but they worked with us and recommended a tasting comprised of 2 kinds of steak. Delicious and tender. If I can, I would definitely come back.
