19/10/2025: In the heart of Acireale's historic center, this Irish pub-style venue offers excellent sandwiches and a decent selection of beers. Service was prompt (after all, it was a quiet evening and we were the only ones there), and the waiter was discreet and friendly. For a sandwich, beer, and liqueur, we paid about €20 each. The only downside is parking; although you can park in front of the venue, finding a spot there is practically impossible.

03/11/2025: Friendly service, excellent Indian ramen, delicately seasoned with a pleasant spiciness, attractively presented, generous portions, served with fresh bread. Indoor and outdoor seating available.

29/10/2025: On Saturday evening, I returned to this restaurant, where I'd been several times in the past, and where I'd even brought friends, because I'd always enjoyed it. I hadn't been back for about a year, but unfortunately, this time the experience wasn't as positive as the previous ones. We ordered a €13 appetizer, steamed buns: there were only three of them, very small, and for two people, frankly, a bit disappointing, especially considering the price. For the main course, I ordered Pho soup, which unfortunately arrived lukewarm, almost cold, and I wasn't convinced by the taste, although it may simply have been out of my taste. What struck me most, however, was the service: we waited about an hour for the food to arrive, and there were only two people in the dining room, a woman and a man who seemed to be on probation. Throughout the evening, I noticed a rather tense atmosphere, especially given the way the woman addressed her colleague and the customers. In fact, a foreign customer complained about her dish, and immediately after leaving the restaurant, the waitress began making loud comments about the incident in a truly unprofessional manner. I hadn't intended to leave a review, but after this experience, I became curious and read the negative comments on Google: I noticed that management's responses to dissatisfied customers are often very aggressive, which unfortunately confirms the impression I had of a certain difficulty accepting criticism. I'm sorry to write such a review, because I've had good experiences there in the past, but honestly, this time I was disappointed and I don't think I'll be back anytime soon.

18/09/2025: The bar is so-so... I came in on September 8th for a granita but... I didn't have a great time; it must have been the friendliness of the guys behind the counter. Anyway, for a quick bite, and if the other bars are packed, it's fine!

22/08/2025: We're not there yet. Granita practically melted alongside hard brioche, with a panettone-flavored dough. As a Sicilian, you can tell the difference from the original recipe. I don't know if it had to do with the specific day I went, because I've read other reviews mentioning the soft, warm, and flavorful brioche. It's a shame because the location isn't bad and the place is definitely worth a visit.

18/09/2025: Excellent, really. We always liked it very much, the owners are very nice, the prices are decent and the portions are big... They took great care of us, in the end one visit turned into three 😄 When I'm around Palermo again, I'll definitely stop by 😎

23/09/2025: The pasta or primo piatto is unparalleled, full of flavor, exquisite. The second course, to be honest, didn't live up to what we'd already eaten. The dessert was very tasty, and the service was nothing special.

14/09/2025: A pleasant surprise in a place we'll definitely return to. Overall, I'm satisfied with both the pizzas and the fish. Better than many well-known places that now thrive on their profits. The only thing that could be improved is the service, but nothing serious. Well done.

21/10/2025: Very disappointing. We were recommended this place. The welcome is very average. The pizzas are small, very sparse, and expensive for what they are. We ordered a bottle of rosé wine for €19. They no longer have the bottle, the waiter comes with a sparkling rosé for €33... what a joke. In short, €76 for 3 pizzas with a bottle of very average red wine (too young). There are enough restaurants in Syracuse to avoid this one.

16/10/2025: We were very disappointed with the food. The pizzas didn't live up to our expectations...five arrived cold, and some of the toppings weren't very tasty. Two were fine.

15/09/2025: Not much to say, the guys are amazing, the food is delicious, the cocktails are amazing. Maybe avoid the weekends, it's very crowded and the service is inevitably very slow.

14/10/2025: Fantastic place, divine food, great service! I can't fault anything. We ordered pistachio buffala and Romano pizza, the latter was also very delicious, but the pistachio stuffed edge took everything. I can only recommend the limoncello spritz. A sophisticated restaurant, where precision and hospitality are unquestionable. Thank you to the La Duchessa team!

14/10/2025: Opening hours are incorrect. We arrived shortly before 6 p.m. and were turned away. They don't open until 7 p.m.

13/10/2025: I couldn't have made a better choice to celebrate my 40th birthday. It was a truly splendid evening. The location is obviously spectacular, but the food also left everyone more than satisfied, thanks to chef Marco. The service was the real highlight, because Danilo, first and foremost, but also the rest of the staff, were impeccable and incredibly discreet. Danilo perfectly understood my mood for the evening and made it a reality. So thank you, thank you!

13/10/2025: I had an event last evening at the restaurant, organized by Danilo and chef Marco. It was the best party I've ever been to, both in terms of food and organization. The food was plentiful, high-quality, and carefully prepared; no waiting; and the staff were super efficient, barely audible as they served us food and wine. Truly exceptional professionals.
