30/07/2025: Io e la mia famiglia siamo stati in vacanza per 15 gg, abbiamo soggiornato all’hotel universo, e tutti i giorni siamo stati deliziati della saporitissima cucina del ristorante Universo. Cibo di prima qualità, cortesia, gentilezza, tutto ciò che si può desiderare da una vacanza. Lo staff è sempre disponibile e cordiale, Tommaso è il non plus ultra in sala, ma soprattutto Luca, il proprietario, mette a proprio agio la clientela e ti fa sentire a casa. Ci ritorneremo di sicuro
21/07/2025: An exceptional experience. The location is unique, surrounded by nature, and you can even book a room and park just 15-20 meters from the beach entrance. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped. The restaurant is also of excellent quality and is worth trying even outside of your vacation. Congratulations!

30/06/2025: El restaurante está situado justo enfrente del castillo en el casco antiguo de Otranto.
El comedor interior es un poco estrecho, así que optamos por el Wintergarden, que ofrece un poco más de espacio.
La comida está muy bien presentada y muy imaginativa.
Comenzamos con anchoas adobadas servidas con achicoria y mermelada de naranja, una combinación inusual que funciona sorprendentemente bien.
A continuación, tuvimos los espaguetis de erizo de mar, que era excepcional.
El servicio fue impecable.
Es un lugar muy conocido entre los lugareños, así que si estás planeando una visita, asegúrate de hacer una reserva, especialmente por la noche.
Los precios son más altos, pero los ingredientes son increíblemente frescos y los platos absolutamente deliciosos.
25/06/2025: Abbiamo cenato in un ambiente poco confortevole ,e siamo stati un po’ isolati dalla cameriera .Sembrava quasi che la nostra presenza non era gradita .A chiudere la cena si è presentato uno grosso scarafaggio proveniente dal soffitto che girava intorno al tavolo.
Il personale sembra abituato forse a scene come queste ,hanno schiacciato l’insetto e raccolto .
Tutto è tornato nella normalità ,ma noi siamo andati via un po’ infastiditi ,tutto può accadere ma almeno ci aspettavamo le scuse .Sicuramente non ci torneremo.
Qualità del cibo discreta per il prezzo pagato.

01/08/2025: Surrounded by greenery, we've stayed there twice, once in an apartment and this year in a room... both were lovely! All the staff were very kind and helpful. The pool was gorgeous and the mini zoo was lovely!! I highly recommend it.
22/07/2025: We stayed in the bungalow for four days, taking advantage of the many amenities offered by the property.
First of all, I'd like to highlight the politeness and friendliness of all the staff who accompanied us during these days.
The house was spotless, with a pool, and a peaceful atmosphere.
Highly recommended for animal lovers who want to spend a few days in complete relaxation.
We'll definitely be back!

17/08/2025: Guys, we were there on August 17th, six of us, we had a really good time, the staff is very friendly, the food is fresh, the seafood pucce are really tasty (I recommend them), the girl who serves is really nice, if you are in Otranto, stop by because it is really worth it.

An unforgettable experience at Summerfish in Otranto!
We were welcomed with great kindness and professionalism by the owner Cosimo, who made us feel at home right away.
The service was impeccable, thanks to the wonderful Valentina and Sharon, always smiling, available and attentive to every detail.
The food was simply delicious, fresh and carefully prepared. The location, with its relaxing atmosphere and suggestive view, made the evening perfect.
Highly recommended for those looking for quality, hospitality and a special evening in the heart of Salento.
We will definitely be back!
09/06/2025: I go back every year and every year my experience changes only in a positive way...we went back today in 2025 and I am still amazed that the service is always excellent and the food is of high quality...very ready, between the owner and the staff to satisfy the needs of the customer...nothing to do with full restaurants but with poor and low quality food...in Otranto one of my favorite restaurants

19/08/2025: The welcome and friendliness were absolutely not up to the Salento standards.
17/08/2025: Terrible experience. The staff was so rude that we couldn't even be seated because of the way we were treated at the door. When we left, the manager even said, "We didn't miss anything." Absolutely not recommended. I anticipate their eventual response, denying everything, as they did on the spot.

17/06/2025: Consigliato da amici, questo posto ha superato ogni aspettativa. Si può cenare in una splendida terrazza vista mare (dalla quale godere del tramonto su Otranto) oppure su un cortiletto più interno. Piatti ottimo, consigliatissimo ol panino con il polpo e le frise. Personale molto gentile!!!

15/07/2025: An alternative restaurant. The place is very charming, and the staff is friendly and helpful. They offer a variety of seafood sandwiches, with the tuna one being excellent. They also offer fried fish, tartare, and salads. You can also eat at the outdoor seating. The ingredients are top-quality.

30/08/2025: A very nice location near the sea in the center of Otranto. The drinks aren't bad and the prices aren't excessive. The only flaw is that they don't bring any snacks or food (unless you pay for it at a VERY high price). I'd prefer a higher price but with snacks included.
It's a shame because the location is very good, but they're forgiven for something obvious and banal, especially for such a touristy place.

21/08/2025: It's a real shame, because this place could do double its numbers. Instead, the owner is only interested in pocketing money, ignoring tourists and locals. I think he's completely unaware of the fact that people talk and advertise.
Reading the comments, I can't help but agree: the location is breathtaking, evocative, and quite well-maintained. It's a shame about the service and prices.
I wanted an Aperol Spritz, but after seeing the price (€9), I definitely lost interest, so I opted for a passion fruit mojito (I should point out that it's listed under "muddled cocktails" on the menu).
Muddled? Absolutely nothing, no lime or mint, just a few ice cubes that melted after five minutes, and just enough passion fruit to stain the water.
Taralli and olives were €1.50 each. It's a shame the olives were so salty they were inedible, and the taralli were the cheapest and cheapest ones you could find, which are supposed to be a typical Apulian delicacy.
We wanted to dine here, but we've definitely lost interest. They don't deserve a cent more for their extreme indifference.
Unfortunately, working in the restaurant and tourism industry requires a lot of brains, not just the desire to make money by ripping people off.

18/06/2025: Amazing staff, I immediately felt in tune, they were super helpful and helped me when I needed it. It was easy to get there, and being in the countryside I enjoyed nature by going out for a walk nearby. Sunset from the structure is crazy and the massage service at the spa was worth it every time, highly recommended.
