08/02/2025: The pastry shop is excellent. Small note: Whoever serves at the counter and is in contact with the public should be a little more cheerful and not make the customer feel like they are disturbing.
16/01/2025: Le torte e la pasticceria in generale risultano molto soddisfacenti, sia in termini di qualità, sia nel gusto. Il disaggio dello zucchero è perfetto, dunque si riesce ad assaporare il prodotto nella sua vera essenza, connubio di raffinatezza e leggerezza.

02/06/2025: Attirati dalla gente seduta fuori dal locale abbiamo deciso di fermarci d profumo di mare a pranza. Nonostante il locale fosse pieno abbiamo mangiato in tempi normali e il servizio è stato impeccabile. Ottimo il pesce alla griglia pulito con cura al tavolo dai camerieri.
Prezzo giusto in base alla qualità dei prodotti. Torneremo a trovarvi

18/06/2025: A beautiful private beach. 20 EUR for the day for two sun loungers and an umbrella. Friendly staff and service.
Not many people, so it's comfortable and quite quiet. However, during high season, I imagine it's a completely different atmosphere...😜😱😱

Une semaine à otranto et nous avons pris notre petit déjeuner tous les matins . Personnel très agréable . Tout est très bon . Je recommande ce lieu

chiesto di stare dentro per non fare prender freddo ai bambini ed hanno preparato tavolo davanti la porta di ingresso che era spalancata, praticamente peggio che star fuori.

29/06/2025: Terrible experience you have to get ready and go get the food when the order is called on the microphone. It's like being at Bingo. 2 hours to eat the dishes in installments as you are called and then a menu without prices. Passable quality, never again something like this

24/06/2025: Fresh and good seafood appetizers, good pizza, very good first courses. Excellent raw tuna and shrimp tartar. Excellent fried shrimp and calamari. Stunning location. The tables are practically on the sea. Excellent service. Very little waiting. Accessible entrance also in the room with wheelchairs and pushchairs

24/06/2025: Last night, a light top dinner at the Ristorante Pizzeria "Il Castello", near the Otranto Castle.
My husband wanted pizza, I wanted a simple salad and a local first course.... et voilà, satisfied!
Pizza "Delicata" for him, green salad and orecchiette with turnip tops for me.
Pizza and first course served at the same time, as requested. The dessert that couldn't be missed? The pistachio and chocolate spumone, delicious!
Smiling staff, attentive and quick in service.
Average prices.

20/12/2024: Se vuoi bere qualcosa, considerato che il beverage non necessita di "cucina", allora ci può stare: la cornice del castello, la piazzetta, la movida...
Ma se vuoi mangiare del cucinato allora pensaci bene a spendere i tuoi soldi li.
Inutile fare l'elenco delle pietanze portate al nostro palato, le accenno solo per un esempio: pasta insapore, baccalà fritto in olio "esausto", polpo degno di un decongelato di discount. E certamente non a prezzi da discount!
No, questo vuol dire uccidere Otranto, la sua storia, la sua ospitalità, la sua cucina...
Certe recensioni positive ti fanno pensare, mah!

18/09/2024: Nous avons pris un apéritif avec mon épouse soit deux Spritz jusqu’à présent rien à dire.On nous propose de grignoter et on se laisse faire.
On nous apporte des bruschetta et en plus on nous compte deux couverts soit 31 € l’apéro.
Je comprends maintenant pourquoi le restaurant était vide.Bien qu’il le reste car il court à leur perte .

11/10/2024: Needed a quick stop for a sandwich and a salad, and found this place brought along the waterfront. Everything was fine. The food was good. The beer was cold. The only problem I know that they cannot control all the stinking flies.
09/10/2024: Great location, terrible food. We had two chicken salads - and even that simplest of dish was off. Chicken tasted dry and double fried, watery salad felt straight out a supermarket bag. One of those places that seemingly don’t put any effort on what they serve you.

Prezzi onesti, vista la collocazione sul lungomare di Otranto, nelle vicinanze del centro storico. Rilasciato solo preconto (documento non fiscale)

15/06/2025: I have been to this bar in Otranto and I have to say that the location is simply perfect: an incredible view directly on the sea, it is difficult to ask for better to enjoy a moment of relaxation. I had a coffee, really excellent, and the service was kind and fast, another plus point.
Unfortunately the crepes (I ordered four) disappointed me a bit: the consistency was too soft and they seemed to be made with too much water, little flavor and little character. The menu as a whole also deserves a refresh: few really interesting options and a bit dated in the presentation.
Overall, however, the experience was very pleasant, especially thanks to the view and the atmosphere. I will gladly return, hoping for some improvements on the kitchen side.

15/06/2025: Kind of a bar, but not quite — more like a cozy observation deck with cocktails. Draft beer? Just a couple of options, but they do the job. Cocktails, though — plenty, and done right.
Perfect spot to sit back, watch the promenade, make up stories about strangers, and pretend you’re a local.
The staff? Great people — friendly, easygoing, and always up for a quick chat, even if you don’t speak the same language.
