17/08/2025: Escape Milan to finally enjoy pure hospitality and good food. You'll fall in love with the romantic atmosphere in Otranto's historic center. Rocco's attentive service will amaze you. A truly Otranto treat, far from the hustle and bustle. We highly recommend any seafood dish, from the purple shrimp to the caramelized octopus. A continuous explosion of flavors, course after course.

25/08/2025: The food is truly excellent, high-quality, and well-prepared. Despite the quality of the ingredients, the service leaves much to be desired, with acquaintances being favored over tourists. If they were more attentive to service, the place would be much more worthy. Overall, everything was good, with acceptable wait times.

14/08/2025: After careful review on where to stay, we decided on Masseria Dei Monaci. The photos looked beautiful and the surrounding serene. And the pictures were true, the grounds were lovely and the rooms were beautiful too. However, when entering, what we didn’t realize is the Masseria is 1 foot away from a very busy highway. So if you don’t mind the sounds of fast cars and Vespa’s going by 24hrs per day then you will be okay. Sitting by the pool is lovely, but again, the sounds of highway traffic take away from the relaxation and beauty. Another note worth mentioning and was quite disappointing was the mattress in our suite. It was a very thin mattress with all the springs visible which made for a very uncomfortable 5 nights. The breakfast is worth mentioning and was good. Overall, a disappointing stay on what was a truly exceptional holiday.

27/08/2025: Wonderful vacation, quiet location surrounded by greenery, clean rooms, very friendly staff. Not to mention the owners, Walter and Paola, two wonderful people, very friendly, kind, and helpful. The breakfast was super generous, we'll definitely be back.

17/08/2025: As soon as you enter, you're greeted by the friendly and cheerful staff at the counter. Quality, home-made dishes. The focaccias are excellent. It's a shame there's only so much seating.

07/08/2025: A charming location, right on the ramparts of Otranto: a romantic atmosphere and a spectacular view! The menu was a journey through the flavors of Salento, with a few fusion twists: cooked appetizers, generous and delicious, followed by textbook fried calamari and shrimp, light and crispy. The pasta with gurnard and yellow cherry tomatoes was mouth-watering. The meal ended on a high note with a mixed grill of the freshest seafood. The rosé wine from a local winery was also excellent, a perfect pairing suggested by the staff. Friendly staff, fast service, top-notch quality. Highly recommended!

05/07/2025: "If you remain silent while eating, it means it's good" Modern place, well-kept and clean environments. Alessandro and all his staff are formidable. The menu offers local products and very fresh fish. Good wine list. Original and expertly studied combinations. We appreciated the purple shrimp tartare with its sauces, the burrata, the fresh pasta filled with grouper and roasted cherry tomatoes, then arriving at the grilled shrimp and scampi, finishing with a decidedly sublime chocolate, rum and orange dessert. 28/04/2025: Ristorante trovato su Internet, ci sono stata a pranzo con delle mie amiche, tutto molto buono, fluenti nel servizio e staff gentile.

25/04/2025: Ottimo ristorante, servizio ottimo e proprietari gentilissimi. Nonostante un piccolo problema ai fornelli in cucina che ha ritardato l’uscita dei primi e ci ha costretti ad andare via senza mangiarli perché avevamo altro impegno, il proprietario per scusarsi ci ha totalmente offerto quanto consumato fino a quel momento.

24/08/2025: Excellent welcome, gluten-free pizzas prepared in a special oven, and attentive staff. The traditional pizzas are very generous. The red wine is excellent. Ideal for celiacs.

03/03/2025: Abbiamo soggiornato una sola notte in struttura con il nostro cane, siamo stati accolti dalla signora Giovanna in modo caloroso, ci ha messo subito a nostro agio, camere pulite, letti comodi, stanze ben insonorizzate, la colazione è stata varia ed abbondante, ci ha accolti nella sala da pranzo con il camino acceso per farci sentire ancor più coccolati. In più la visita all'ipogeo stata quasi mistica, regna pace e serenità. Siamo stati bene ed un grazie speciale alla signora Giovanna.
