24/09/2025: Very good beer, decent focaccia, and a friendly atmosphere that could be improved. It's okay for a quick aperitif... but the price is a bit high for two small slices of focaccia and two take-out beers. They could do better.

09/10/2025: Surrounded by nature and with a breathtaking view of the sea, we discovered this wonderful agriturismo. It's run by Marta, a delightful 93-year-old woman, and her children. They offer products from their garden and beyond, including stone-ground flour, homemade butter, and more. The 10-course set menu is generously portioned, and with the orecchiette, you can ask for seconds—trust me, you will! They're delicious! 😋 Plus, the menu changes based on what the garden produces that day. This agriturismo offers a unique, intimate, and peaceful experience. The dishes are amazing, and the owners are wonderful people. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic, unusual, and truly special experience!

18/10/2025: Fantastic dinner. We had the full Italian dining experience: appetiser, primi, secondi, and dessert. The wine was fantastic; the pasta and fish courses were perfect and the tiramisu was the best we had in Italy.

31/10/2025: Absolutely delicious cakes and pasticciotti! The cakes are soft, flavourful, and beautifully decorated, while the pasticciotti have the perfect balance of creamy filling and crisp crust. The staff are welcoming, and the place has a warm, inviting atmosphere.

17/01/2026: The evening begins like this... I call and make a reservation for 9:30 PM for 4 people. They tell me over the phone that the wait is 5 minutes, which is just enough time for the table to be free. I arrive promptly and they tell me to wait 10 minutes. At 10:17 PM, I ask how much longer and they tell me to wait until the table is free since they had asked for the bill. After a long (and unwanted) wait, we manage to sit down at 10:23 PM. The place is nice, with seating near the sea. We order at 10:46 PM. The dishes arrive at 10:52 PM. Very fast service. Excellent sushi and excellent mixed seafood appetizer. We ordered a bottle of Chardonnay "Lama di Pietra" white wine, which was delicious, served in the right way and left in the seau à glace (which is not a given). The first courses arrive later: paccheri with monkfish and sagne with almonds, cherry tomatoes, and cod. A few pieces of monkfish were not... Skinless but not bothersome The first courses are also excellent The quantity of fish in the first courses was higher than expected, and therefore generous with the seasoning I would have added a few more paccheri Next came the fried foods The anelletti and shrimp were good For the mixed seafood, most of them were good Just a few were full of bones and difficult to remove We close with the sweet and sour dishes The sweet and sour dishes were good, and the amaro del capo was served chilled in a chilled glass. All in all, the place wasn't bad. The food was good, the price was fair, the service was fast but "cold" (not a bad thing, each waiter decides how to treat the customer), and the bill was reasonable, with bitters offered after checking the order. 4 stars because there's always room for improvement. Keep it up!

22/02/2026: The Universo restaurant is truly a universe of flavors and Salento hospitality. I stopped for Sunday lunch and everything was delicious: fresh and tasty dishes, good house wine, and the orange and almond cake that finished it all was excellent. The staff were truly kind and helpful, never intrusive.

08/02/2026: A Sunday Lunch Between Seafood Flavors and Family Warmth There's nothing better than gathering the family around a table filled with the aroma of salt and tradition. Our lunch at Ristorante Universo was a true journey of flavor, an experience that celebrated the quality of the ingredients with a touch of creativity. The variety of dishes made sharing a constant pleasure: We started with a lively mix: from crispy mixed fried fish to classic mixed fried fish (always a surefire hit for adults and children), through to a refreshing octopus and shrimp salad and exquisite au gratin mussels, perfectly golden. The First Courses (The Heart of the Lunch): The real star was the seafood risotto. Perfectly creamed, with a vibrant touch of saffron and more. Equally worthy were the spaghetti all'Adriatica and paccheri agli abissi, rich dishes where the pasta captured every nuance of the sea. Even the French fries, served rustically, lived up to the standards of a carefully crafted lunch. We ended on a high note with a jar of tiramisu, creamy and authentic in flavor, the perfect way to cap off a special Sunday. Ristorante Universo confirms itself as an excellent choice for those seeking the legacy of tradition (the good kind, passed down from generation to generation) combined with attentive service and a welcoming atmosphere. A place where "eating well" means feeling at home, but with the privilege of having the best of the catch on your plate. Highly recommended for those who want to turn an ordinary Sunday into a wonderful memory.

20/10/2025: A truly wonderful experience. The masseria is stunning, surrounded by greenery. The Apulian spirit is truly palpable. The staff takes care of the guests every step of the way. The reception staff took care of us every step of the way. I sincerely thank Ivana, Silvia, Luisa, and Valentina, who are serious, friendly, and competent professionals. Eros, the bartender at the pool bar, pampered us wonderfully. We can't wait to visit you again! Thank you for everything.

13/10/2025: Beautiful hotel, beautiful surroundings. The duplex rooms are not recommended; they smell a bit like a basement. Unfortunately, the restaurant isn't equipped for cooler temperatures and wind, so breakfast was rather uncomfortable, too cold and windy. It's certainly better in the summer. Also, the value for money isn't great; the pasta is mediocre for €26.
