22/10/2025: I've been going there for years now and the local fish they serve is always fresh, and there hasn't been a single time I've had a bad meal. In my opinion, it's the best in Gallipoli for the quality of the food, the hospitality from Artur, who is very kind and takes care of his customers, the sea view is truly stunning and what more can I say? Try it and believe it.

14/10/2025: Simple and very tasty dishes! A beautiful plate of tomatoes and buffalo with a drizzle of excellent pesto! A delicious and very light risotto! Homemade sweet notes (tiramisu!) In short, very good and served with a neat presentation 👍

14/10/2025: Pleasant and peaceful setting in the evening. The staff is very welcoming and attentive. We were able to make ourselves understood in French. And especially, we got spaghetti carbonara, which wasn't on the menu. Just a little disappointed with the ice cream given the price, but it was good.

13/10/2025: We had lunch on a beautiful Sunday in October. The appetizer was excellent: octopus meatballs and homemade yogurt sauce. The appetizer was fresh tuna tartare. Then came linguine with sea urchins and shrimp tartare. The service was fast, friendly, and attentive. Definitely recommended! Well done!

04/10/2025: Dining at Osteria del Vico was a highlight of our trip. It is a lovely family run place with a relaxed and genuine atmosphere. Amalia and Federico looked after us beautifully and Vincenzo provided thoughtful and friendly service throughout the evening. The food was delicious and authentic, and their suggestions for wine pairings were perfect. It is rare to find a restaurant where both the cuisine and the people are so memorable. A visit here feels less like eating out and more like being welcomed into someone’s home.

28/07/2025: Terrible place to eat. The owner is truly arrogant and presumptuous. He mocks customers and says untrue things. The food was truly awful and the price was high. I ordered bombette and he brought me a stewed meat that was spicy and extremely salty, practically inedible. I strongly advise against it.

25/07/2025: This year we decided to spend a week in this area for our summer vacation, and since we'd never been before, we chose this place randomly. It looked good on websites and was close to, but not in, the center of Gallipoli. It was an excellent choice: clean and comfortable rooms, excellent service, excellent breakfast, and a clean, air-conditioned property with a large, secure indoor parking lot. Most importantly, it's located in a quiet area where you can sleep soundly. A 5-minute drive will take you to the center of Gallipoli and the area's best beaches. It has an on-site restaurant where you can dine. I highly recommend it and thank the owners for their hospitality.

21/10/2025: A very interesting place. If you want to sample authentic local cuisine and freshly caught seafood, this is your place. It looks unassuming, but it's worth a visit! I recommend it.

The setting is charming — stone walls, soft lighting, and that unmistakable southern Italian warmth that makes you feel instantly at home. I started with a seafood appetizer that was as fresh as it gets, followed by homemade pasta that tasted like it came straight from a family kitchen. Everything was simple, honest, and full of flavor — exactly what good Italian cooking should be. The staff were fantastic: friendly, attentive, and genuinely proud of what they serve. They recommended a local white wine that paired perfectly with the meal. Dessert — a classic tiramisù — was the perfect finish. If you’re in Gallipoli and want a true taste of Puglia, don’t miss this place. Osteria Sant’Angelo isn’t just a restaurant — it’s an experience that captures the heart of Italy: good food, good wine, and good people.
