14/05/2025: Very good mixed fried fish. Mussels au gratin: I hope it was, for me, just a bad episode. Totally dry! Probably kept in the oven to be reheated and forgotten there ... without being carefully examined before being sent to the dining room. I'll try again next time. Good prices.

04/05/2025: We were at La Navicula yesterday and we are delighted! Delicious seafood dishes - fresh, perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. The service was very nice and helpful, the entire visit took place in a pleasant atmosphere. Definitely one of those places you want to come back to. I recommend it wholeheartedly!

05/05/2025: Excellent table. The owner kindly offered us a tasting menu of the flavors of Salento. A dozen land and sea portions which gave us a complete and delicious tour of the specialties. Respect for the product, freshness and variety delighted our taste buds. Efficient service and pleasant contact with the owner who is very proud to defend her land and gives good advice on visits. Excellent value for money.

01/06/2025: Classica pizzeria napoletana, l'impasto è buonissimo, consiglio pizza con melanzane alla parmigiana. Crocchè buona ma non buonissima! Buon rapporto qualità prezzo.

09/05/2025: Everything excellent! We ate an excellent fried calamari! Fast service and attention to children: saucer with glass especially for them and disposable bib + changing table in the bathroom!

02/05/2025: The food was good and the owner who showed us the fish of the day upon arrival was kind and knowledgeable. BUT: the two waiters were completely incompetent: they didn't remember what we had ordered (if your memory isn't good, son and paper would be enough). The dessert didn't arrive at all. The fish was boned very badly.

02/06/2025: Increíble almuerzo para 13 en un patio precioso que básicamente nos hicimos cargo. Los camareros eran brillantes y la comida era de primera clase. El pez espada era espectacular, así como la pasta de tomate y queso local. Las croquetas de patata eran geniales - podría haber comido 100. Un lugar muy relajante, nos dejaron estar fuera un buen par de horas bajo el sol disfrutando de La Dolce Vita. Muy recomendable.

31/05/2025: Restaurant moyen dans lequel nous avons réservé par erreur, 2 restaurants portants a peu prés le même nom. Service sympa mais plats plus que moyens.

20/05/2025: Trattoria tipica frequentata da locali che ha saputo mantenere la sua originalità e genuinità - Non sappiamo cosa scegliere e ci lasciamo consigliare dalla gentilissima proprietaria Mariolina che ci propone una selezione di antipasti di mare : battuta di tonno rosso al coltello , alici , sgombro al vapore , gamberi , seppia al vapore , verdure in pastella , cozze al forno , cozze gratinate ed altri piatti sempre a base di pesce ed uno più buono dell’altro . Saremmo sazie ma la voglia di assaggiare altro ci lascia tentare dalle orecchiette fatte in casa nel pomeriggio con farina d’orzo e di grano duro condite con sugo di pesce . E abbiamo fatto bene ad ascoltare la gola : buonissime . Chiudiamo con uno sgroppino e dei dolcetti locali ( divini amori- favolosi ) offerti dalla casa . Da tornare visto anche l’ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo e la calorosa accoglienza -

02/06/2025: Durante la nostra visita a Gallipoli abbiamo deciso di cenare al ristorante Scapece un locale carino situato al secondo piano di un vecchio edificio nel centro storico.Abbiamo gradito la cena,l'unica cosa negativa che abbiamo constatato è il fatto che la mattina nonostante ci fossimo recati sul posto per prenotare un tavolo vista mare accordatoci dall'adetto alle prenotazioni, la sera quando ci siamo recati per la cena,il tavolo era occupato e siamo stati costretti ad accontentarci di un tavolo che non avevamo prenotato.

09/05/2025: At a dinner at Yellow Scapece, you absolutely can't help but notice more things. The first of all is the warm welcome from the restaurant manager and the other collaborators. The open kitchen with the meticulous Chef already suggests how tasty you will be able to taste. We were having dinner with some suppliers, we were recommended a beautiful route that started with raw and cooked appetizers, two first courses, coffee and dessert. Qualitatively speaking, we are really top notch, delicious raw materials, very fresh and served with an uncommon elegance. I only took a photo of a dish because...it wasn't right to take the phone during such a delicious dinner. The taste of each course positively impressed our palate, for each dish. The combination of recommended wines (4 bottles, each better than the other) did the rest. Truly CONGRATULATIONS for the management of this beautiful restaurant, located among other things in the best spot of Gallipoli Vecchia. Full speed ahead!

05/05/2025: Très bonne expérience , pizza bonne, rapide et pas chère, accueil chaleureux. J’ai fait une erreur de commande car le menu n’est pas traduit et je me suis retrouvée avec une pizza saucisses frites mais finalement, j’ai bien aimé!

31/05/2025: VERY rude!!!!! we try to be mindful as tourists and speak italian and be respectful wherever we go, but the staff were so rude, treated us like we were idiots, and made us feel so uncomfortable the whole time we ate our pastries and had our coffees. in the 6 weeks we’ve been travelling around italy, we have not been treated this poorly. we couldn’t wait to get out of there - save yourself the trouble and go to a cafe that respects its patrons.
