24/04/2026: I went with my family looking for fried calzones and found this pizzeria very friendly and the calzones very good.
We'll definitely be back when I'm in Gallipoli.

19/04/2026: I discovered this bar by chance while walking around Gallipoli old town and looking for a few open cafes for coffee. I loved it so much that I went for breakfast the next day. The pastries are a delight, the pasticciotto is truly delicious! Very kind and helpful. I'll gladly return when I'm in the area ✨

14/12/2025: Excellent Seafood Experience at Mārē Navicula in Gallipoli
We had dinner at Mārē Navicula last night and it was an outstanding experience. We tested every kind of fish both raw fish and cooked the fish. It is a local authenticity and flavor.
Starters were delicious and we ate the famous gambero viola (violet prawns from Gallipoli). We have appreciated the extraordinary kindeness of the staff
The pasta pasta with mussels was good.
We felt as at home. Portions are generous, prices are reasonable for the quality.
Thanks for everything. Hoping to cone back soon!

How wonderful to finally be able to grab a vegan Nutella crepe on the street, and with such a friendly owner :-) Thank you, we'll be back soon 🌱
20/08/2025: My boyfriend and I went to this StreetFood to satisfy an evening craving for crepes.
Given my gluten intolerance, it was quite difficult to find a place to go, but searching online, we came across "Man in Pasta StreetFood."
The guy who served us was very friendly and helpful, and explained the various gluten-free and vegan options.
The gluten-free crepe was crispy and filled with plant-based Nutella.
For four crepes, including the gluten-free one, we paid €16.
I recommend the experience, especially to those like me who are gluten intolerant!

28/07/2025: Terrible place to eat. The owner is truly arrogant and presumptuous. He mocks customers and says untrue things. The food was truly awful and the price was high. I ordered bombette and he brought me a stewed meat that was spicy and extremely salty, practically inedible. I strongly advise against it.

02/10/2025: We stumbled upon it by chance and felt pampered, just like when you stop for lunch at your aunt's house. The cuisine is simple but inspired by flashes of flavor. The atmosphere is truly friendly, and as people leave their tables, they greet other diners, who are of all ages and both two- and four-legged.

08/03/2026: IT IS NO LONGER THE FAMOUS BAR DA PAOLO OF THE PAST, while you are having an aperitif or breakfast, there is an invasion of pigeons that walk under the tables, breakfast is expensive and aperitif is very expensive, the calzone like the pasticciotto pugliese are no longer as good as they once were, TO AVOID There are many superior ones, clean and with an excellent balance between price and quality
