04/06/2025: We dropped in here after the sunset show and had four absolutely delicious pasta dishes. My friend had the truffle and prawn pasta and said it was the best pasta he had ever had! I had spaghetti with red mullet - the dish of the day - it was delicious too. Great wine list and wine suggestions as well.

18/05/2025: Loved staying here. It’s on the outskirts of Gallipoli so you need a car but it was an easy drive to the historic area. The hotel has large grounds and is lovely and quiet. The staff were wonderful So friendly and helpful - Thankyou

11/05/2025: Dinner in the heart of the historic center of Gallipoli, in one of the most fascinating settings of the city. Pettolino offered us a top-level gastronomic experience, thanks to well-executed dishes and fresh ingredients. There were two of us and we started with a fried octopus appetizer, crispy and tasty. Followed by two first courses: one based on the catch of the day - monkfish - and a risotto, both tasty and well-balanced in flavors. The quality of the cuisine is indisputable, but the experience was unfortunately penalized by the less than relaxing atmosphere. Next to our table was a large family, with several particularly noisy children who were screaming and banging objects, creating obvious discomfort. Despite the situation, the staff did not intervene, allowing the disturbance to partially compromise the environment. We accompanied the dinner only with water and, when it came to the bill, the total was 80 euros. Considering that we ordered only one appetizer and two first courses, the price seemed a bit high. Finally, a less positive note concerns the person at the cash register, whose courtesy was not up to the rest of the service. In summary: excellent cuisine and suggestive location, but a little more attention to the welcome and the environment could make the experience truly complete.

09/05/2025: The Il Pettolino restaurant is located inside the Grumesi palace, occupying a part of it. The place is spacious and cozy with a pleasant atmosphere. They also have a terrace right in front of the beach with sea views. The restaurant has a wide and varied menu with starters, pizzas and main meat and fish dishes. Traditional cuisine made with good raw materials. The wine list is not excessively large, although they do have some good wines at quite reasonable prices. The staff that served us was pleasant and attentive, although somewhat slow in service. A good restaurant although with excessively high prices for what you are actually eating, even for a coastal area like Gallipoli.

19/04/2025: Scoperto per caso questo ristorantino nelle vie del centro storico di Gallipoli, ho mangiato benissimo, cucina tipica senza molti fronzoli, ambiente carino e camerieri molto gentili..

19/04/2025: Passeggiando nel centro storico di Gallipoli abbiamo trovato questo ristorante, attratti dalla musica di Lucio Battisti che proveniva dal locale. Siamo stati accolti bene dai 2 camerieri Stefano e Gianmarco molto simpatici e competenti. Il piatto che ci è piaciuto di più sono stati i gamberi viola crudi, veramente una squisitezza. Poi tutto molto buono seppia e scampi crudi, cozze gratinate, paccheri con scorfano e spumone come dessert. 2 calici di bianco locale e 1 bottiglia di acqua gasata. Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo! Consigliatissimo.

29/04/2025: Great restaurant, just happened to walk past and had a fantastic dinner, the cozze were phenomenal, by far the best we had on our 7 day trip to Puglia!!! The wine was recommended to us by the staff and it was simply great! The orecchiette with raw tuna and burrata was also first class and never tasted like that before. Staff reserved, professional and friendly!

25/04/2025: posto da pronto soccorso siamo stati tutti male sicuro le altre recensioni se le sono fatte da soli fattore qualità prezzo pessimo visto che era tutto congelato e insapore ps poi c’era un uomo anziano che ci fissava tutto il tempo ci ha messo un pó in soggezione esperienza traumatica

10/10/2024: Expensive to eat and continue to visit, a fry made by non-professional staff, there was no flour mixture, full of oil, with the squid I could make gaskets for the petrol pipes, the sandwich was normal + coffee water, between thirty and forty euros, good quantity of food. My fishmonger who does the frying some days gives me perfect fried food in 5 minutes. The place even made me wait a bit, and it was just us.

28/05/2025: Very refined atmosphere and excellent service. The fish is fresh and the staff is always ready to give you advice. Maybe a little too expensive.

16/05/2025: Hotel recommended guests some of the restaurants and this is one of them. During the raining Thursday, not much guests here. I ordered the salad and raw seafood. Seafood are fresh and as well as the salad. Service is also good and friendly:)

28/04/2025: Nothing special! "Dry" pizza and very salty raw ham! Location a little confusing. On one side, karaoke evening and on the other, a big screen to follow the football match. The two environments are communicating therefore, chaos to no end.
