22/07/2024: Excellent lido at the beginning of the Torre Canne beach, managed impeccably in terms of cleanliness and organisation. In the evening it transforms into a beach bar with deckchairs by the sea in a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere and excellent music. Ciccio the owner is a landlord like those of the past, you can see that he cares that everything is perfect or at least to the maximum of his possibilities. If you stay in Torre Canne you must visit La Zanzara whether it is day or night! Compliments.

26/07/2024: Simple environment, Umbrian cuisine. Very friendly and fast staff. We tasted some typical dishes done very well. I wanted to try the coratella and I must say that it was very, very good. The giant appetizer for two can certainly be shared by 3/4 people, the portion is very generous.

01/08/2024: Excellent food: freshly prepared sea bream carpaccio and spaghetti cooked as the so-called al dente chefs should know how to do but not too much with the flavor of the freshest clams. I'll be back as soon as possible.

05/08/2024: In this place you can feel a sense of home, even though we come from Romagna. The staff is very kind and attentive to everything, it seemed they knew what we wanted to eat just by looking at us. It goes without saying that their products are of extreme quality, the focaccia is absolutely worth trying. What makes the difference, however, is the manner and attention of the beautiful people who work there. Fixed stop every year!!

19/08/2024: Uno dei migliori ristoranti di torre canne, a mio avviso. In 10 giorni di soggiorno vacanziero in questa località siamo andati a mangiare 2 volte in questo ristorante che abbina raffinatezza e tradizione pugliese, segnalato dalla struttura dove abbiamo soggiornato. Il proprietario e il suo staff sono gentili ed accoglienti. La cena comincia con una degustazione di olio squisito da assaporare su pane caldo. Il menu non prevede tante portare ma tutte di ottimo livello, sempre presente un pescato del giorno , consigliatissimo. Prezzo assolutamente in linea con la proposta offerta.

08/08/2024: Frittura di mare: tutta roba scongelata, si sentiva. L'abbiamo lasciata quasi tutta nel piatto. Buono il carpaccio del giorno. Spaghetti alla polpa di riccio: di polpa di riccio c'era giusto qualche traccia, complessivamente erano degli spaghetti aglio e olio mantecati con qualche addensante. La chicca è stata la fatidica carbonara di mare che, come tutti sanno, dovrebbe essere pasta con una dadolata di pesce spada invece era una normalissima (mediocre) carbonara in cui predominava il sapore del pecorino con tanto di pancetta croccante, mentre l'unica caratteristica che le conferiva il nome di carbonara DI MARE era... indovinate? Qualche pezzo, in cima al piatto, di quella frittura di pesce, forse, chissà, sottratto al piatto che poco prima avevamo fatto ritornare in cucina! Ma stiamo scherzando? Il tutto per 40 euro a testa. Ho visto che, quando le critiche sono negative, chi risponde, insinua che il cliente non abbia realmente mangiato al ristorante. Io sono appena uscita e mi sono affrettata a scrivere qui la mia insoddisfazione.

02/08/2024: Luogo accogliente ed elegante ed equilibrato . Personale professionalmente preparato e dai modi squisitamente cordiali. Cucina di alto livello, con specialità di pesce ottime . Varia e scelta con competenza la carta dei vini. Continuate così.

10/07/2024: Overrated. Suggestive place for its atmosphere but after 1 hour of being there you realize that it's all fake and you want to escape. Food with absolutely no flavour: the greasy mixed fried food with sage that tasted like nothing, bowls completely without salt, courgette pie, ditto. The only very good thing is the pasta with meatballs for children. Attentive service and really friendly staff.
